First time took my dad here for eyes exams. Place is big, lots of glasses frames to select, waiting room is comfortable. Staff are very friendly, my dad Dr Shirley is very sweet and caring. The reason why I only give them 4 stars because I was surprised that their restroom needs attention (really dirty). Beside that everything else is great here. read more

The worst place to go. They mixed up my fiancé's glasses with another customer taking an extra TWO WEEKS then promised a small amount refund that to date (1 1/2 weeks later) hasn't happened and stalling still. DO NOT RECOMMEND! I'd like to warn everyone, don't go here! read more

Don't let them bully you into getting unnecessary machine scans if you don't want to get your eyes dialated. Worked once but never again...shouldn't even pressure you. They have equipment but it is a little off. My left eye got better ontheir machine but it was too good to be true. Bad prescription for my contacts and glasses. Be weary and careful because they charge more for benefits options on glasses. I was quoted for $400 on options and took my same prescription and options over to Visionworks and paid $75. read more

My go to place for getting my eyes checked out for minor irritations. The optometrists are knowledgeable and do a good job of assessing for problems due to irritation, environment, etc. Some of the office help could be better, because they give the impression that they would rather be doing something else. But the optometrists are worth dealing with the office staff. read more

This place was recommended to me so I go online and schedule an appointment... A short time later I was contacted to confirm my appointment at 2:30 pm, gather my information, insurance and so on... At this time I am impressed with their customer service until an hour later I receive a call to reschedule my appointment..they have a unscheduled meeting from 11 to 2:30 and will be unavailable for my appointment... DO NOT COME HERE. I only came here for convenience as it was closer to home. But save your time and go somewhere else more reliable. After I got checked up and selected my frames I was told there was a 2 week wait time for the glasses to be assembled and be ready for pickup, and this will probably be the case for everyone else. I thought this was odd as I know places that have your glasses ready on the same day or a few days at most, but I didn't think too much of it. Unfortunately this 2 week wait time turned into 6 weeks... and they don't even have the courtesy to give you a call to let you know what's going on. I had to call myself multiple times and the first couple calls they gave me some vague answer as they weren't exactly sure themselves. Im usually patient but this was almost unacceptable. But I didn't complain and waited patiently. I finally receive my glasses a month overdue and a week and a half later they break... it is understandable if I had owned these glasses for a year or more and the frames decided to wear down but only a week later?? I came to understand that the structure of the frame itself was delicate and a-lot could go wrong with any slight pressure. I took my mom here, got a groupon. My one of my main complaint was the Groupon, nothing on it stated that the 2nd paid is the discounted. No where on the fine print, and they choosing not to respect what was on groupon sucked. Really hoping to get my mom transitional glasses, especially at half off. Oh well. I liked the doctor, the service in general, they treated my mom pretty well and even helped her choose glasses. There was only one person there that made the experience crummy. She acted very snotty, annoyed like us asking for help to pick the right glasses for my mom was way to much work for her. Look all I wanted was a recommendation not your hand on that throne. Shoot. She acted snotty because I had to be a bit frugal and decline the transitional glasses add on. I really liked how they treated my mom, I like the great care and dedication everyone gave her but that lady. She really just made me feel dirt poor. Like I under appreciate my mom. This place is completely unprofessional. I had to come twice for a contact prescription and both times I waited about 45minutes to actually be seen by the doctor. She stood out the hall chatting with the other technicians while I waited in the chair. The exam itself took less than 10 minutes but I was there for an hour both times. read more

EXCELLENT SERVICE! My family went in their yearly eyes examined and I even invited granny. Turns out she was losing sight in one eye and needed to have two surgeries done to correct the problem. If they would not have found the problem, she would've lost sight in both her eyes. We are very thankful for their excellent service and professionalism! read more

This was my second visit to Mann Eye 2 at Copperfield. The first time I had a Groupon, this time I went because of the excellent service I received the first time. Dr. Tran's assistant was amazingly patient with me. Dr Tran really explained the condition of my eyes and what I needed even showing me how my vision would it I did Lasik. But the girl who helps you with your glasses selections, I wish I knew her name, is just outstanding. Their prices are extremely competitive and I have two pair of glasses for around $350 including bifocal sunglasses and glare resistant reading glasses. read more

As i have gotten older i now need glasses. I was nervous and overwhelm with all of the choices and scared of the exam. And it went great. The tech was sweet and understanding. The doctor was very helpful and guided me thur the process. But best of all was "Eric". I tried on 100 pair of glasses. He was caring, honest, patient and helpful as i tried to pick the perfect pair. I had a groupon to use which is why i went here. Glad i did. He then explained my different options but did not push the more expense deal. Had I not had the Groupon offer (which is available on their website), I would not have known about this place, or even the fact the people who work there are very professional and helpful. The doctor who took care of me was very detailed about my prescription, my changes in vision and my eye strength. The associate, Tim (I think that was his name), was extremely helpful in recommending the lens type and frame. All in all, I think the Groupon offer helped me a bunch and I look forward to getting my new eyeglasses in soon. I've been coming to this location since it was "Pearle Vision" . Though the staff and name has changed what hasn't changed about this location is the consistent care I've received .Though I believe Dr. Tran goes above and beyond. I went in to see Dr.Tran a couple weeks ago and before I even walked into the examination room ,she commented that my glasses needed to be tightened up . She had an associate take care of my slightly loose glasses as we were doing the examination. I didn't even notice that they were loose, but upon getting them back they felt so much better on. She saved me time and worried about my own comfort before anything else . Most places would have waited until my examination was over before even getting to this small issue . Thanks Dr. Tran , for realizing that even an extra 15 minutes out of someone's day is worth saving . read more

DO NOT go to this place. They put one of my bifocal lenses in upside down and had to send it back to the lab. 2 weeks later, I called to see if it was in. They told me that it had come in the day before but the new lense was scratched and it had to be sent back. I guess they weren't going to call me and let me know that. I asked them to call the lab and put a rush on it because I had been waiting now for a month for my $400 pair of glasses that I had yet to receive. When I called back to see if they were in, I was told that it was going to be 2 weeks. WHAT HAPPENED TO PUTTING A RUSH ON IT!!?? If they come in next week, a total of 6 weeks will have gone by before I will finally (hopefully) get my glasses. The people in the front office act like it's no big deal and aren't apologetic at all. Customer service is nonexistent here. read more

Mann eye has to be the worst business i have ever delt with. I was told i would have my glasses in 7 to 10 days. It has been 25 days and i still do not have my glasses. When I walked in, it was as if I had imposed upon the two people who worked there. I said I had been a client of Mann Eye in Spring (which didn't seem to matter), and that I was interested in purchasing glasses similar to the sunglasses I was wearing. "We don't have Maui Jim", was the response. "Our Katy location does." "No," I said, "Not these exact frames, just a similar style." The person that worked there looked for about ten seconds, and said, "You should probably go there." I said, "Sorry, I just moved into the area from Spring, can you tell me where it is?" I got a rushed response, no phone number, no address or a business card to help. Soooo, I did the research, made the appointment at the Katy location, had a WONDERFUL experience there, and will go there in the future. As for the Highway 6 location, no thanks; their conversations are more important to them than me. I realize Mann Eye gets my dough either way, but if one prefers great customer service, and a feeling of welcoming, drive to Katy. read more
