PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU CHOOSE YOUR DR. I am not so good at taking the time to rate any services I receive however I have never been happier than I am with Dr. Fortes and his staff. I am 53 years old and I would do this all over again with Dr. Fortes..... From my first consult over the phone with Virgie who answered all my questions and concerns. She was so patient with me and truly cared. we made my appointment and I met with Dr. Fortes coordinator Denise. She too informed me step by step from my pre-op to my post op exactly what I needed to do prior to day of surgery and thru post op. Then I was introduced to Dr. Fortes. I had a lower back lift, a tummy tuck with lipo as well as a breast reduction, lipo with augmentation. He made me feel so comfortable as he had to look at my body and explain to me how all my procedures would be done with what I was asking to look like. After I got dressed he came back in to see if I had any other questions or concerns or fears in which I replied I had just one fear......I was afraid of the unknown pain I was going to face ahead of me. He promised me I would have no pain at all just discomfort but he was sure it would be nothing I could not handle. Dr. Fortes uses a pain med during surgery called EXPERAL it cost extra but it was so worth it. All the surgery I had done all at once, I never felt any pain what so ever. I had one dose of my pain med my first night home just as a precaution and the next morning I took one, No more meds after that. I never had any pain nor did I have any infections what so ever. I can say I feel and look so beautiful. Thank You Dr. Fortes. Now I am about to get my arms done with Dr. Fortes and I am so excited. I highly with out any doubt what so ever recommend Dr. Fortes. Its crazy that I never written a review on Dr. Fortes. He is EVERYTHING!!!!! Okay back in July 2009 I decided to get my breast done. I wanted them tasteful and natural looking. Dr. Fortes gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. He and his staff were very very friendly and the process was very easy. Okay so I'm going to go to the beginning. I was researching on doctors to get my breast done. When it comes to my body, I refuse to cut corners. I wanted silicone and a teardrop shape. And I wanted them to look as natural as possible. Now when shopping around he was the most expensive. But I kid you not, I had no problems and five years later I'm still getting compliments!!! See here is my thing.... When looking for a doctor I wanted to see multiple photos, read reviews and, I didn't want a doctor that was trying to pressure me into getting extra work done that I didn't need. Dr Fortes was amazing and, even though he's straight and married, I just felt like I was with a good girlfriend!!!! If you're ever considering getting any kind of plastic surgery, at least schedule a consultation with Dr. Fortes... He really is an amazing surgeon. Honesty in a plastic surgeon is critical. And Dr. Fortes is not only exceptionally talented, but he is honest. In my consultation for a tummy tuck, he confirmed what I knew: my stomach, three kids later, no matter how much I worked out, would not be flat without an abdominoplasty, all the while acknowledging that I was not overweight and somewhat thin. I was also very athletic at the time of my consult in April 2022, and 51. From that moment on, I was given the best care and concern from Dr. Fortes and his staff, with major obstacles we had to overcome with the lab work and communication between my PCP, the lab, the anesthesiologist, and Dr. Fortes. I wasn't approved until 12 hours before my procedure, but his staff was determined and always available. Post-op, I was very afraid of jeopardizing his work and myself, since I had previously a bad experience with one of my C-sections in which the incision came open from a sudden move. Dr. Fortes was very patient and aware of my fears, and the results were worth gold. I am so pleased, and would highly suggest anyone who is unsure if they are a candidate for a tummy tuck, to see Dr. Fortes. Dr. Fortes put my breast implants in 22 years ago. Over the years I started having pain in my neck and back due to the weight of my breast. Just recently, my husband and I decided that enough is enough. I made an appointment with Dr. Fortes to discuss removing the implants. I was nervous, but I trusted Dr. Fortes unconditionally. He is an incredible surgeon with an excellent bedside manner, and he truly cares about his patients. It has been two months to the day, and I have had almost no neck and back pain. I had the worst experience with Dr. Fortes and Aesthetics Plastic Surgery. When I went for my first visit I emphasized SO MUCH what was my number one concern. He said he'd be able to help me and went over other things he thought he could do to improve the appearance of my nose. He didn't make me feel like I could trust him through -maybe because of other reviews I read from him where people strongly warn against his work. I asked if I was unhappy, what would happen. He said we could do a revision. I asked if there would be a cost. He said there's no additional fee for his work. After the procedure, I wasn't able to see him because his clinic scheduled me in a different location. They dont send reminders or let you know the details of the appointments via email so I went to the wrong location. I did a follow-up televisit. Because their technology is really out of date, the video kept cutting off; I didn't end up having the visit. By the end of the fourth week, things didn't look as expected so I let him know my concerns. He said we could review only after a year (fair). I waited a year having some discomfort in one of the areas he worked on and, honestly and this is had and sad to say, hating what I saw in the mirror. After a year, I scheduled a follow up. He didn't really remember me or the procedure I had -I could tell because he forgot things that happen. It wasn't the only time but I noticed it's a pattern for him (maybe because he sees too many people. I waited 2 hours to see him - usually it was around 1 hour even when doing tele visits. He took pictures and scheduled another follow "to review the pictures together". Not sure why but he scheduled the follow up 2 months after and it wasn't because he was booked. He specifically told me I will see you in January when it was November before anyone looked at his calendar. Anyway, when that time came, he dismissed me after 5 minutes saying he'll review the pictures and let me know what he can do. WHAT?! I thought we were going to "review the pictures together". He said he'll ask his assistant to call me but never said when. After a week of not hearing from them, I followed up. They finally reached out to me after I begged (literally) them to. His assistant said that he could do a revision but it would cost me an additional $2,900 (clinic costs) when I already had to pay ~10k for the procedure. She also said that he can't really do much to help me. Why, just why dont be honest a say this in the first place?!! Not after destroying my self-esteem, and charging me 10k for that. Tell me you're not competent enough to help me. I'd respect for that. Maybe this was just my luck but I highly discourage anyone from coming close to APS. If you specifically decide to let Dr. Fortes perform surgery on you, please be thorough with the questions you ask and please question his competence. I wish you good luck. read more

I had the best experience ever with Dr. Fortes, his assistant and staff! It was the best from beginning to end. I was so nervous but they helped me feel comfortable and held my hand through the entire experience. It is almost going to be a year and I still go for FU's, I love going there. His bed side manners are amazing and I love the way he made me beautiful. My results are amazing and now ready to move onto the the second half of my surgery. My friends and family all have commented on how awesome I look, so I feel like a million dollars. This has improved my self esteem and I actually do so much better in how I carry myself. for woman (and concerned husbands) looking for a plastic surgeon I am writing this as a warning to those that think "liking" the surgeon you pick is more important than verifying his/her quality of work. My wife used Fortes for the wrong reason... she liked him and felt comfortable with him. certainly you want to feel comfortable with the surgeon but there is a lot more to it. She (and I take blame too) did not take a good look at other work he had done. to make a long story short...She had a small complication (due to a mistake with placement) with one of her implants and he pretty much did not know how to fix it... and initially tried an easy fix (and improper fix) the first time around. After going back to him to give him another attempt to properly fix the issue I urged her to meet with a few other surgeons and take a look at those docs previous patients procedures. They are all on line and help tell the story. anyway, it was pretty surprising the number of different fixes that have been suggested.. and a few surgeons said it could not be fixed. you can imagine how she felt and the massive confusion. Well we have refocused on surgeons that have experience fixing others mistakes (there are a lot of bad surgeons out there) and those that have done reconstructive surgeries for mastectomies. We have now met several high quality surgeons that immediately knew what the problem is and how to fix it. I only wish we had done more homework in the beginning... it could have saved her a ton of heartache and us a bunch of cash. my advice is simple.. do your research and don't just go by how you like the doc when you met them. read more

Not a fan of Fortes. I have known a few people who have had their noses done by Fortes. Some good results, some you can't even tell that he did anything. I went in finally for my consult with him recently and it was uncomfortable from the minute I sat down. He has terrible bed side manor, didn't take any pictures to show me how the revision could look, and seemed to be incredibly dismissive of me the whole time. All this I could get past, but then I get quoted 12k for the procedure! What!? As I have stated, I know numerous people (4 or 5) who received his work, and they were quoted 1/2 of the cost! And although I do not like my nose, it is not a train wreck that would take some extensive surgery to fix. After I talked again with my friends who received his work, we realized that he was probably just trying to run me out of there. Just today, I went and got a consult with Dr. Yarish whose portfolio is fabulous, and the experience was a night and day difference with him. He was so very thorough and provided digital imaging photos, checked inside my nasal cavity for any issues and went through his previous work with other patients with me.Best of all, his cost were more than 30% less. I will never be going back to Fortes for anything. I walked out of that place incredibly offended. I have never written a negative review for something, but I couldn't get this off my mind and have racked my brain over what I could have said to piss this guy off. read more
