Marisa, the optometrist assistant technician, demonstrated exemplary patient care. She was thorough, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout each stage of the preliminary testing. She took the time to explain procedures clearly and ensured I was comfortable at all times. Her precision and calm, unhurried approach were especially appreciated, as I never felt rushed or pressured during the process. Dr. Christina Guerrero provided an exceptional level of clinical expertise and patient-centered care. She was highly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive, taking the time to address all of my questions in a clear and comprehensive manner. Her professionalism and genuine concern for my eye health made a lasting impression. As a result of this experience, we have confidently decided to establish Dr. Guerrero as our primary eye care provider. Mona Tello, the optician, concluded the visit with the same high standard of excellence. Her extensive knowledge of eyewear and attention to detail were evident throughout the selection process. Appointment was at 8:30 arrived at 8:25. it is now 9:27 and still have not seen the doctor. Horrible wait time with no information to offer. UPDATE: Doctor personally called me to apologize which I truly appreciate however, the drive was an hour away from home. read more

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with Mann and it's just this location. I frequent two due to the stigma I have and the second one near IAH is the best in my opinion. Staff is always courteous, professional, and up to date with my insurance info and notifications for upcoming appts. Dr K is the GREATEST!!! Now to the problem at the Deerbrook location: 1. Constant change in staff 2. Rudeness and unprofessionalism are appalling 3. Wait times 4. Was not familiar or aware of the reason for my visit Arrived at my appt at 8a and was told my insurance was not good until 01/16, which of course I asked how so when I have been with my company 14 yrs and the same ins the entire time. Not to mention I was just in the office a month ago providing the ins card and confirming all information was accurate as I had not been in that particular location since last year to renew my contact lens prescription. Marisa the front desk girl after telling me to have a seat begins what I assume is a review of my file after explaining I was just there and provided my card and the reason for my visit, which you would think she would know!!! After she returns to the reception desk, she says nothing and it quite honestly angered me so I decided just to have the prescription/contacts transferred to the IAH location, so I proceed to ask her to reschedule my appt and have it be done at Dr. K's office and as I am explaining why she proceeds to interrupt me by saying she did not say I didn't have insurance, so I shared yes she did at that moment and in a vm. She proceeds to say that she wasnt aware that my appt was due to medically necessary (so now Im just a number) never reveiwed my chart or knew why I was coming in, when I began questioning her she told me in a stern voice to let her speak. I just asked for the Dr and at that point it got crazier! I asked where was the original receptionist and was told she was on vacay along with the office manager (ok whatever). As I am explaining the situation to Dr Guerrero she's just nodding and tells me Dr Ks office although a full eye glass office is located there does not do scleral contact fitting, so I asked her to confirm, and the other option was to drive an hr into downtown for the fitting. Never shared she would speak with the receptionist or even acknowledged any error other than calling out if I would answer my phone when she calls. That's what VM is for Jennifer Guerrero! Most people at least in my home, work during the day so to expect an immediate answer is ludacris. Work on maintaining professional, courteous, knowledgeable and polite staff! read more

Came by April 30th to get a check up on a terrible chalazion I have on my right eye and the service here was amazing from everyone there. The receptionist, assistant and Dr.Sattam where all friendly and inviting. After my check up, Dr. Sattam recommended me to get my surgery at another location they had downtown however that would've been too far for me to go since I don't own a car yet. Vlad kindly took the time set up an appointment for me closer to home and even asked the doctor if she could go to the location closer to me. Even with the computer system down on a Monday morning, everyone was cheerful and managing the process fine without technology. First time with Dr Bennett and really appreciated her matter-of-fact assessment and excellent recommendations. Was so fearful of bad news and she allayed a lot of myfear about future cataract surgery. If you want the best eye care, you go to Mann - as I've been doing for a few decades now! read more

Terrible customer service! Office manager made no effort to help me. I was not told about a policy of 45 days to come back for a contact fitting. I was told I had to make another appointment and pay cash to see dr again!!! How ridiculous! I already used my insurance at their office for the year. I have been seeing eye doctors my entire life and have never had this issue! I will not be back and I do not recommend it at all! Save your self time and money and find a different eye doctor at another clinic who values their patients and return customers. There is no lack of choices considering I see a eye dr office in almost every strip center. read more
