My wife's mom was craving donuts so stopped by one of the few donut shops near central Long Beach that is open past 3 pm. As expected, the selection of donuts was limited but was still able to clean out the six remaining long johns in a half dozen box ($8.50 for six, $1.50 each single...they accept credit cards). The nice young man manning the counter threw in a couple of extra yeast donuts, which made Mom very happy!

Just a few blocks away from my juice bar. Salute to yall Coffee is affordable AND tastes good. I always get a large black coffee.Donuts are ALWAYS on point. My favorites are the maple old-fashioned donut and chocolate cake donut with sprinkles. All nice folks here. Rock on!!

Craving a donut, this was the first spot I seen. Across the street from Quality Inn. The staff were super friendly, I got two plain glazed donuts. They were delicious. Each donut came w/ 2 mini donut holes. Definitely recommend.

Manna Donuts gets a 5/5 stars for their natural juices and smoothies and delicious pastries. This little store is the epitome of don't judge a book by its cover. It's a humble little mom and pop donut spot but their smoothies, juices, and pastries all taste freshly made. My brothers tried the coconut smoothie and taro boba smoothie and everything tasted so fresh, even the boba was warm and fresh. I got the carrot orange juice and I loved how natural it tasted. We also ordered a kolache with sausage in it and the bread was also so soft and fresh, definitely good quality. The owner was so kind and friendly she even gave us two free donuts! We took everything to go as there is no seating in the small shop. If you're in long beach and want to support a small, friendly mom and pop tea and pastry shop, then try out Manna Donuts.

I can't believe I haven't post a review for them yet. Every month when I come to Long Beach for work, I make sure I stop by here to eat their kolaches. Best I've had. The jalapeno and cheese one is perfection; the bread that it's in is so soft. Their donuts are also some of the best around-- always soft and delicious. They're so good that I even had them ordered for my wedding.

Stealing hearts and minds in Long Beach…read more Teatopia has easily snagged my #1 bubble tea spot in good ol LBC. This boba business offers your favorite milk and fruit teas, but also leans into blended beverages. Since it's been 90+ degrees, I've now hopped on the blended drink train. I recently ordered their mango coco. This is a drink I'll easily return for.. possibly the next day. It's a refreshing mix of fresh mango, coconut, and star boba. Creamy, sweet, and delicious. I'm a regular at Teatopia and usually get the same thing: taro tea with golden boba and ube foam,…read moreso this experience was really disappointing. A petite Asian woman wearing heavy makeup took my order and immediately seemed unhappy to be there and very dismissive. She told me they were out of golden boba even though I could see other drinks coming out with it, so I settled for crystal boba instead. I understand stores run out of things, but the communication was already off. What really irritated me was the ube foam and the employees unprofessional service. I ordered it and was charged extra for it, but when I got my drink, it wasn't there. When I asked her about it, she told me they were out and then asked, "do you want coconut foam or a refund?" If you already knew you were out, why would you charge me for it in the first place? I wanted the ube foam and golden boba I ordered, not random substitutions after I had already paid. Another woman in a red shirt with curly hair then told us that to fix it, they would have to refund the drink and then have us pay again to reorder it. I understand the employees probably didn't create that system, but it's one of the most unnecessarily complicated refund processes I've dealt with. The store also seems to be out of something pretty often, which I know isn't always the employees' fault. What bothered me most about this entire interaction was the complete lack of accountability. A simple, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have charged you for that since we're out. Let me fix it," would have changed the entire interaction. Instead, she knowingly charged me for something that was unavailable, didn't tell me, gave me the drink without it, and only addressed it because I noticed. Even then, there was no real acknowledgment that she had made a mistake. And despite how frustrating the situation was, I didn't yell at anyone, cause a scene, or blow up on her. I stayed patient and respectful throughout the interaction. I think it's completely reasonable to expect that same level of professionalism in return.

Everything appeared clean and organized, including the small dining area where customers can sit and enjoy their food or drinks. Service was quick, efficient, and straightforward. The staff seemed pleasant, though my visit was brief, so I didn't have enough interaction to fully evaluate the level of customer service. I ordered the chai milk tea, which I enjoyed. The Banana Pudding was creamy without being overly sweet, and the Lemon Poppy had a really nice lemon flavor. I also ordered the Zombie Coffee with banana cream. If you like your coffee STRONG, this is the one! The banana cream added a nice sweetness and flavor without taking away from the coffee. What really impressed me was the selection. We didn't get there until around 2 PM, and they still had a large variety of donuts that looked fresh. A lot of donut shops are pretty picked over by the afternoon, so that was a huge plus.
