First time grabbing a donut from here, won't be my last. I love me a good donut. This was by far THE BEST BLUEBERRY DONUT I HAVE EVER HAD! It was so moist, the favor was perfect! 10/10, I mean 10/10. If you are reading this review and you live in another part of town, take this as your reminder to support your neighborhood donut shop. They're often better than a lot of the spots on instagram, but they don't have the marketing machine behind them! This is what Allison's donut shop is to me. I love that I can stop by this place in the morning before a workday to pick up a glazed, chocolate, or old-fashioned donut for $1.75. We are in an era where some "gourmet donut" places are selling mediocre donuts for $6. When you come here in the morning, the donuts are freshly prepared and perfect, while also being at a great price. Your miles may vary at the end of a day and the spot is no-frills. Allison's is a family-owned neighborhood donut shop and I like it. I think there is a place for a bougie doughnut; however, don't forget that a standard doughnut is also pretty satisfying! read more

Very affordable trustworthy local donut & breakfast place. Some seats available if you want to eat in but not a huge table for a large group of people. Everything was tasty. Breakfast sandwich was not cheap but it's because the portions are generous compared to chain fast food restaurants. Loved the donuts and they are affordable. Reading previous comments that this place is affordable is absolutely false! This place is charging $17 for a dozen donuts! My order actually came out to $20 plus, the reason is because the person that took my order failed to inform me that some specific donuts are a $1 extra, which I did not appreciate. This establishment I believe is over charging above inflation. I understand places with gourmet or specialized donuts can charge $20 a box. This is not the case, they are your basic twist and glazed donuts. Purely Generic. I believe this place is taking advantage of customers. Your best bet is going elsewhere within the radius to save a couple of $$. read more

Neighborhood donut shop vibes (maybe slightly run-down, but like it's ok...you know?) with helpful and friendly service. A few booth tables are available for dine-in. The sweet lady helping us included a couple of complimentary soft and pillowy donut holes with our order and I appreciated that. I ordered the Sausage and Egg Croissant and was pleasantly surprised that the sausage is the Kielbasa-type split open and carmelized inside a fairly good size flaky and buttery croissant. I was wowed by it because it wasn't what I was expecting especially comparing it to similar type neighborhood small business donut shops I've patronized. It was a delicious sandwich. The price is also reasonable which is important to me in these inflationary times. They have a variety of food and drink options on their menu. They share parking with other businesses in a strip mall. If you're in the area and want a super casual breakfast or lunch option, throw them some support. :-) read more

We walked in and were immediatly greated by the most pleasant lady ever. It was one of those greetings that makes your day. It put us both in a better moode. On 2 occasions my take out order of a small milk and donut ended up with me down the road, opening up the milk and...sour!! I don't feel I should have to check the expiration date, they should. Milk was dated 7/23 and I bought it on 7/25 this last time. So, watch your milk dates if that's what you like to drink. Otherwise the donuts are good. I called and a really nice guy answered the phone but they were closing (7pm) so I planned to try it the next day. :::Tink::: Next day: While I was looking at the selection board, I noticed there was no price, so I asked. Lee's is $2.25 Dolphin Bay is @$1.25 Make it at home = 0.40 1 cups rice milk, 0.18 for tea bag, 0.05 for sugar and ice cubes, and boba (I still have to try making it but I found it at a market next to Goldilocks on Gridley Rd.) I grew up on Winchell's Donuts and remember when a crumb donut was more than a glazed with crap all over it. Allison's Donuts has been around for over a decade and is one of the few donut shops that does it right. The cinnamon rolls are flaky (is that actual cinnamon I taste?), the chocolate bars are incredible and the crumb donuts have some depth of flavor. I can't think of another donut shop that I would give five stars to. Unfortunately most don't seem to understand the first thing about baking or frosting. Allison's is a throw back, it almost makes me forget that there aren't any Winchell's Donut shops around anymore. read more

Came in here on a whim because I was starving and wanted something quick during a weekday evening. The little Cambodian lady working here is hands down awesome! We ended up getting an apple juice, a breakfast sandwich and a donut, but because she liked us and she was talking to us for a good minute, she threw in a few extra donuts on the house. Her prices are really cheap and everything we bought was under $10. Not only that, but her food tastes amazing! I'm not one to advocate quick and easy junk food, but if you're looking to be gluttonous and cheap and you have a craving that you just can't shake, come here. Came here on a whim. A friend of mine said they have boba and wanted to try. Friend got the carrot juice which really tasted like fresh juiced carrots. I got the vanilla boba. Boba is good but the drink itself was more like drinking milk. It was more watery than a milk shake but not pure liquid. We got some scratch tickets too. Spent $12 on the tickets and drinks and won $9 back from the tickets. Almost like buying 1 drink and getting the other one free. Maybe I'll return for another flavor boba. Who knows. read more
