Food is always delicious and it is a good deal for what you pay. I have been here multiple times over the years and while it is always a good time your server and be a hit or miss. I have had amazing servers who bring out everything right away but I have also had a few that you have to ask a few time to get additional meat. I also don't love that you can not make a reservation and it typically is 30min-1hour wait for a party of 2.

Our 2nd time here and always with good experience, we booked through app and waited for 15 min. They have an iPad ordering table side which was very convenient. The meats were very good and tasty and lots of selection, we selected the highest tier. The service was good. Noise level moderate, they have good ventilation and exhaust. This place is so popular and always full. Parking was hard to find. Well this is San Diego Kearny Mesa.

Good korean bbq for a great price! Both menu options are under $40. We chose option A2 because we didn't need the rib eye, rib finger meat, pork bowl or tongue for option A1. We ordered mostly brisket, beef belly and la galbi. The banchan sides were plentiful and what I like about this place is it had the lettuce wraps, rice papers and radish wraps. Usually you will find 1 or 2 of these options only. Also they give you a tv tray on the side of the table so that you have more space for dishes and other things. The best part about it is the complimentary self serve ice cream freezer for dessert. Service was good and the waitress was attentative as well as the other staff members when changing out the grill. There is plenty of tables and the music was very edm like. Noise level is moderate with the music and everybody talking and cooking.

Service was a little slow, and they kept missing some of our orders. But the staff was all really friendly. On the positive side, they were one of the KBBQ spots that didn't have long wait times, even with how crowded it was. There are only two stalls in the women's bathroom in such a big, crowded restaurant. But thankfully, I was able to go right away without getting stuck in a long line. The food was pretty good. The meat was good quality, and the banchan (sides) were decent. I didn't like the frozen veggies in the corn, though. Our table enjoyed the complimentary ice cream. I know Manna is one of the OGs of KBBQ in SD, so it's nice to see them still doing well.

I had to come here to redeem myself because the previous day I went to another Korean barbecue place across the street and it was not the greatest! Manna has always been consistent which is why I like this place. The service is always great. Everyone is always attentive and friendly. The place is super clean! Parking is tough, but what isn't in this area? I love the open seating area in the front! I usually go to the Mira Mesa location since it's closer to my house, but I came here with my friend and we love it here too.

Decided on this spot for Father's Day. Surprisingly the wait was not bad at all. I do love that they had self serve ice cream while you wait for your table. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the mediocre service. The waitress seemed to be rushing us to order. She didn't even explain how things work. We had to ask her if we could start with drinks first. Also, everyone at the table must order the same option A1 or A2. Reasonable pricing but one is pricier than the other. I didn't like the service, I didn't like the food options. We did not have a good experience and will not be returning to this location.

This place was super busy and saw that they had over 6 locations. The wait wasn't too long on a Friday night with 3 people so we got seated within 10 minutes. They had 2 tiers with the price range of $30.99 and $37.99 having more premium meats. They come and take your order the first time then you order on the mini screen at the table so they don't have to keep coming back and forth. The ambiance was cool and super busy and all the servers were attentive to fill up water, change the grill, or even ask if we had questions about the menu. Super solid spot for some kbbq

I love this place. All the food was delicious. The best part about this is the pricing. Everything was around 30-40 per person and came with SOOOO MANY SIDES to choose from and meats. It is on the top for my kbbq list. Waiter was nice and wait wasn't too long!

So this was my second kbbq experience and my family decided to try Manna. We waited about 5-10 minutes after adding our names to the Yelp Waitlist. Once we were seated, our server gave us a few minutes to order. We started with the spicy bulgogi and teriyaki thin sliced beef. We ordered a ton of sides like the corn cheese, pork dumplings, egg rolls, green onion salad, white rice and fried rice. The green onion salad and corn cheese were my favorites but I really loved them all. After ordering way too much food, we finally tapped out. It lived up to the hype for me and I'll definitely be back!

Number 5 says one per person when my friend and I ordered they told us it's one per group of 2. Makes no sense
    Jake S.

Number 5 on the premium menu says 1 per person I went with a friend and we both paid for the premium when we both tried to get a number 5 witch is the steak the waiter told us it's 1 per group of 2. That dose not make any sense. If we both are paying the premium price we should both be able to get one each . I did not complain or argue just won't be back. They also cram so many tables into this restaurant there has to be a violation. You can't push your chair out unless the table next to you pushes there's in. If there is an emergency or fire of some sort everyone is not making It to the exit. You also have to pay for parking.

My family and I were visiting for my son's 9th birthday. My son was excitedly eating when he started choking. A staff member, Francisco, quickly jumped into action, started the Heimlich maneuver and was able to clear his airway. He was absolutely amazing and a complete asset to this team. Thank you Francisco for your quick action! We are forever grateful! My son insisted he was fine and wanted to continue his birthday meal. He left full and happy, despite the events.

great kbbq spot! this is such a great spot, definitely busy but they will get you in fast! the fan favorite was the brisket. you can order on the meats and sides on the ipad the only advice i have is whenever you come here you should carpool the parking lot gets busy

    Teriyaki beef belly bento box
    Brianna C.

I was in San Diego for a little over 24 hours and had to choose 2 places to eat, and I chose to get bento boxes from Manna BBQ (bento boxes are to-go only I believe). I got one chicken bulgogi bento and one teriyaki beef belly bento. And I do not regret my decision in the slightest. The bento boxes here are probably one of the best deals I've ever seen, especially in 2026. I paid less than $20 (each) for a filling and delicious meal that lasted me 2 meals total. The flavors are amazing, and the portion sizes are incredible. Everything included was delicious. The pickled radish, the kimchi, the meat, the rice, the glass noodles, and especially the sauces! Wow!!! Next time I'm in San Diego, I am coming back to order this again. I used to get this all the time when I lived in San Diego. Thank you Manna BBQ!!! Great service too.

Unfortunately, the beef tongue was the biggest letdown of the night. It was dry and seemed like it wasn't very fresh. However, the ribeye, beef short rib, and rib fingers were all good and ended up being my favorite meats of the evening. The biggest issue was the service. We came on a busy Saturday night, and while I understand weekends get hectic, the service was painfully slow. Our server never seemed to be in much of a rush, even with a packed restaurant. Since you're only allowed to order 4 plates of meat at a time, the long waits between rounds meant we spent more time waiting than eating. We also had to ask twice for a grill change, and it still took a long time before he actually returned with a grill change. By the time our next round of meat arrived, we were already getting full, which really took away from the all-you-can-eat experience. What made this visit even more disappointing is that I've eaten here before, and it used to be one of my favorite KBBQ spots. I celebrated my birthday here last year, and it was hands down one of the best KBBQ meals I've had. This visit just didn't come close to that experience. I'm hoping this was just an off night. I know Buga is capable of much better, but based on this experience, I can only give it 3 stars.

Was seated quickly our waitress was very nice and was perfectly tentative. Immediately we enjoyed the vibe. Had all of my favorite K-pop mix. I could've sworn they were playing my Spotify daily mix videos. Menu wasn't huge, but everything that we got was amazing.. Son, husband and I enjoyed all of our dishes. Bossam is a must come again for! Perfectly boiled sliced pork belly that you layer yourself with shredded fresh green onion, sliced raw garlic, strips of kimchi radish, some sort of pickled radish, and a ssamjang sauce. The pork alone was amazing and the portion was huge! We barely made a dent in the platter. The kimchi jjigae stew was sooo good too! The broth was savory, just enough spicy, it has a pork riblet stewed in it that was cooked perfectly. Came out to our table still bubbling.. Takoyaki was pretty standard, but what made it a little extra was that you could tell it actually had two pieces of octopus and each ball most places only have one. It was moist on the inside, but firm on the outside perfect amount of sauce on top. Bulgogi was a good size. Portion flavor was spot on beef with sliced nicely and very tender however, there was nothing outstanding besides the portion. Cheese corn was pretty standard as well, but oddly the corn kernels were very sweet and tender so that was very nice. I couldn't tell if it was fresh corn or frozen corn. I was leaning towards it being fresh corn because the kernels popped very nicely and were so sweet. I'm pretty sure they fooled me and it was frozen corn. The staff was so nice. They gave us an order of fried dumplings on the house. And that was very delicious. We will most likely order this next time. It was a perfect mixture of meat and vegetables. The skin wasn't too thick so it wasn't overly chewy or hard but perfectly crispy. The restaurant is on the smaller side. I can see it getting very packed very quickly. By the time that we left a little after six all the tables were full, and there was a party or two waiting. It was very lively, and although there was only one waitress, she was on point.

We waited about 45 minutes during peak dinner time, which honestly wasn't bad at all given how packed the restaurant was. And you HAVE to get the cheese fried rice at the end. BTW this is NOT AYCE. It is also on the pricey end. Also they cooked all the food for us. Not sure if we will be back but maybe on a special occasion or if we are invited by friends to go. Food: We ordered the SOT Sampler Plate and a fried rice. My favorite was the Prime Short Rib. Everything was good but personally I can't tell the difference between the meat I ate here and from another KBBQ place. For the fried rice they kinda burnt our fried rice. It was so burnt that when we tried to scoop up the rice to try and get that charred bottom, it was stuck and moved the grill itself. Service: Staff were good and attentive to when we needed water refills and more sides. They cooked all the food and asked type of doneness we would like our meat. The only time they slipped was for the fried rice. Ambiance: The place is a nice smell of meat cooking. Feels like a pretty professional establishment.
