Our 2nd time here and always with good experience, we booked through app and waited for 15 min. They have an iPad ordering table side which was very convenient. The meats were very good and tasty and lots of selection, we selected the highest tier. The service was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Noise level moderate, they have good ventilation and exhaust.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is so popular and always full.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking was hard to find. Well this is San Diego Kearny Mesa.

Decided on this spot for Father's Day. Surprisingly the wait was not bad at all. I do love that they had self serve ice cream while you wait for your table. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the mediocre service. The waitress seemed to be rushing us to order. She didn't even explain how things work. We had to ask her if we could start with drinks first. Also, everyone at the table must order the same option A1 or A2. Reasonable pricing but one is pricier than the other. I didn't like the service, I didn't like the food options. We did not have a good experience and will not be returning to this location.

I had to come here to redeem myself because the previous day I went to another Korean barbecue place across the street and it was not the greatest! Manna has always been consistent which is why I like this place. The service is always great. Everyone is always attentive and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is super clean![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is tough, but what isn't in this area? [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the open seating area in the front![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I usually go to the Mira Mesa location since it's closer to my house, but I came here with my friend and we love it here too.

Service was a little slow, and they kept missing some of our orders. But the staff was all really friendly. On the positive side, they were one of the KBBQ spots that didn't have long wait times, even with how crowded it was. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are only two stalls in the women's bathroom in such a big, crowded restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But thankfully, I was able to go right away without getting stuck in a long line. The food was pretty good. The meat was good quality, and the banchan (sides) were decent. I didn't like the frozen veggies in the corn, though. Our table enjoyed the complimentary ice cream. I know Manna is one of the OGs of KBBQ in SD, so it's nice to see them still doing well.

This place was super busy and saw that they had over 6 locations. The wait wasn't too long on a Friday night with 3 people so we got seated within 10 minutes. They had 2 tiers with the price range of $30.99 and $37.99 having more premium meats. They come and take your order the first time then you order on the mini screen at the table so they don't have to keep coming back and forth. The ambiance was cool and super busy and all the servers were attentive to fill up water, change the grill, or even ask if we had questions about the menu. Super solid spot for some kbbq

So this was my second kbbq experience and my family decided to try Manna. We waited about 5-10 minutes after adding our names to the Yelp Waitlist. Once we were seated, our server gave us a few minutes to order. We started with the spicy bulgogi and teriyaki thin sliced beef. We ordered a ton of sides like the corn cheese, pork dumplings, egg rolls, green onion salad, white rice and fried rice. The green onion salad and corn cheese were my favorites but I really loved them all. After ordering way too much food, we finally tapped out. It lived up to the hype for me and I'll definitely be back!

    Teriyaki beef belly bento box

I was in San Diego for a little over 24 hours and had to choose 2 places to eat, and I chose to get bento boxes from Manna BBQ (bento boxes are to-go only I believe). I got one chicken bulgogi bento and one teriyaki beef belly bento. And I do not regret my decision in the slightest. The bento boxes here are probably one of the best deals I've ever seen, especially in 2026. I paid less than $20 (each) for a filling and delicious meal that lasted me 2 meals total. The flavors are amazing, and the portion sizes are incredible. Everything included was delicious. The pickled radish, the kimchi, the meat, the rice, the glass noodles, and especially the sauces! Wow!!! Next time I'm in San Diego, I am coming back to order this again. I used to get this all the time when I lived in San Diego. Thank you Manna BBQ!!! Great service too.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]If I can give them a 0, I would since their seating is very disorganized.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was at the top of the list and they seat their friends before us. Very unprofessional and what's the point of signing in and being on the wait list. Avoid this location if possible. There are many other Korean bbq around the area. The meat was not good quality. The steamed egg and kimchi were too salty. You can only order one ribeye if select option A1.

First time coming here after the renovation and the wait wasn't too long! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only downside was their cleanliness, the seat had crumbs on it and the floor was still dirty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I do want to give them some slack since it was on valentines night so they must've been very busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food came out super fast and our server was great!

I know they were scared when they say me coming in. Because my plan was to eat the entire restaurant and oh boy did I! It was a long line and we waited about 45 minutes to get a table. But it was worth it. We got seated in the back corner. Tables are pretty close to each other. The place is loud so you might pick up someone's convo but you'll have some privacy. Everyone at the table has to agree to the same menu. There are two options. The premium option and the regular option. We went with the premium which has a few more meats and fish items available. Everyone pays the same price regardless of how much they eat. It was just two people and it was busy so to ensure we always had something on the grill we ordered 3-4 things at once. Which I would suggest and then scale it up if there's more in your party. We ordered maybe 16 items from the menu over the course of 2 hours. They said it's a 2 hour limit. Not sure how enforced it is. Because the menu consist of about 50 items, I suggest making a game plan ahead of time to make sure you're getting different types of meats and items. On your way out. There is ice cream that you scoop on your own for a tasty treat. That's self served. If you want the macarons you have to ask the host / hostess for support. Parking is in the back. It was hard finding a spot. I parked on the street and walked over.

Food: The meat is solid--brisket and pork belly are my go-tos here. I love to eat by wrapping the meat with garlic, jalapeño, and salad/lettuce. I really like most of the sides that are already at the table when you sit down, and they're pretty tasty. The corn cheese is a whole dish and is decent too. The corn cheese here also seems to have peas and carrots as well in comparison to other kbbq spots. The soondubu is just okay, not anything special. The egg dish was kind of watery and not my favorite. One fun bonus is the free self-serve ice cream with vanilla, green tea, and chocolate options, which is always a nice way to end the meal. Service: You place your first order with the server and then use a tablet to keep ordering, which is convenient. That said, the service can be a bit slow, especially when it's packed, so you might need to flag someone down or remind them about an order. Ambiance: It gets busy during dinner hours, so expect a wait. But for the price, it's a good deal. The space feels casual and lively, especially with how many people are always there.

I was kind of underwhelmed by this kbbq but for the price it's pretty good! The meat quality was just ok to me but for the price I'd say it's good! The meat selection was good they had a lot of the popular options like bulgogi, pork belly, and brisket then they also had flat iron steak (pictured) included in the cheaper AYCE option. I like how they have the green onion salad and rice paper here too! Service was meh. Our server hardly checked in on us, kind of understandable given that orders are placed through a tablet on the table but even when we pressed the call server button on the tablet we waited 10+ min and no one came so we ended up having to flag someone down as they were passing by. Ambiance was also just ok to me, it's a casual kbbq, seems popular with the younger crowd. Overall not my favorite kbbq but if you're just looking for a cheap kbbq place w decent options then I'd say go for it!

I love this BBQ spot. The price is great for all you get and the complimentary icecream tops it all! :)

Yes, I know it's a barbeque restaurant, so I didn't expect it to be overly vegan-friendly, and I checked ahead on options for the two vegans in our group of 8 - they looked sufficient (a veggie/Impossible burger, a vegan chicken sandwich, and fries not fried in beef tallow), so the vegans gave a thumbs up on my choice despite being a BBQ/meat-heavy menu. There are plenty of other options that are vegetarian, but not vegan. The problem is that the two items I mentioned are served on brioche buns...not vegan. We asked for optional bread choice and were told that the only option was white toast. So, in addition to removing the cheese and dairy-based sauces, had to settle for white toast or no sandwich bread at all. Not a deal-breaker, but certainly an opportunity for Del's to have some vegan-friendly options like a better bread and maybe a vegan sauce alternative. I (non-vegan) had the Reuben which comes on a nice marble rye - there are plenty of good rye breads that are dairy-free, but we were told that the rye was not vegan. Overall, I'd go back, but when in a group with various dietary restrictions, I'd avoid Del's. Just as an aside, my son (one of the vegans in our group) told me he went to Grand Ole BBQ in North Park, they had plenty of things he could eat, and he loved the food there...so take note CRG!

But it's softballs, not baseballs. Service is legit. Fast, friendly. They're like get in, order, get out. But we stayed for probably an hour and a half. The live music was great, not too loud. I am sad to confess the food here is not as legit as I figured based on being a San Diego local and a big DDD watcher. It probably depends on which day you come, but on Thursday, the brisket was so average. Del's in Del Cerro is better. Smoky and the Brisket is better. I had my brisket served with that nacho cheese and relish, not nearly as great as I thought it would be based on DDD. I also don't drink anymore, but if I were to have had 2-3 beers + this dinner + the enviornment I would have loved it. My son gave a huge thumbs up to his burger, daughter liked her food. If you want an experience, have time you need to kill and have kids, it's a solid spot, but in no way is this a destination if you live west of the 15. Stick to classic spots.
