I first heard about Manna Korean from an influencer on Instagram who has done several reviews on the hot food vendors inside Lotte Plaza, so I wanted to check it out for myself. I came with my family and we split the galbi dub bab (marinated short ribs over rice) and the home style bibimbap. Both came out hot and fresh pretty quickly after ordering. The short ribs were tender and flavorful without being overly sweet, and the portion over rice was filling. The bibimbap had a good mix of vegetables and meat, and once mixed together everything balanced well. Seating is shared in the main food court area and there was plenty of space to sit comfortably while eating. Overall it is a solid spot to grab Korean food while you are shopping and definitely worth trying if you are already at Lotte Plaza. read more

Located in the Hmart, this is a convenient place to get quality, delicious food at a great value. I got the fried fish with tofu soup $20, and it tasted great! You order and pick up from the counter. I had clear noodles with stir fry pork and veggies in a dark sauce. The food was meh. It was mostly noodles...which were stuck together in one gelatinous glob. The veggies were good but the meat was scarce. I got 4 small pieces. And the whole thing was kinda bland. Not spicy and barely flavorful. How disappointing. My friends and I shared the fried dumplings, kimchi jigae and the original spicy ramen. Food here was delicious. Made ready to order and less than 10 minutes. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes is fair. The location is more self serve. Order your food and grab a seat in the food court. Some of the dishes packed some heat. Banchan is not served with the dishes only picked radish. Great place to come grab a quick bite during lunch. read more

Manna is located at the very end of the food court inside Lotte Plaza. They had many appealing options, but I ended up ordering the short rib dolsot. I was excited to try this, but was disappointed as it lacked flavor. For $13, it also had an underwhelming amount of meat - probably the least I have seen in a meal. Service was also lacking - the man taking our order seemed off-putting, and we waited a while for our food. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Manna and unfortunately I will not be returning. read more

We've been coming here for years since we moved to Maryland. It's in a convenient location, connected to the Lotte supermarket where we do our grocery shopping. This is definitely a place to grab a quick bite without waiting too long or paying too much. We probably tried at least half of their menu. Compared to other Korean places, their food is ok. Not the best, not the worst either. This time, we got their galbitang soup (#21) and their tuk mandookuk (#23). Their galbitang comes in a big bowl with the typical traditional ingredients: glass noodles, radish, egg, and short ribs. I don't think they boiled their galbitang very long because the short ribs don't just fall off the bones and break apart when you bite into it. It's a bit chewy and sometimes it can be very hard to chew that my mouth is sore from chewing. Their dumpings/ mandoo from #23 are from those frozen packages. Nothing really to rave about but a nice decent meal if you don't care for the fact its not made in house. There are better places to get Korean food, but theirs are not bad either, given the convenience. But definitely not our go-to. They are located next to the other food stalls in the Lotte Supermarket so there are other options as well if you don't prefer Manna. read more

I almost didn't get out of my car to go into this place once I realized it was in a grocery store. I said what the heck and went in anyway. I'm so so happy I did. There's a little food court, so you have options...Nice. My ribs were served sizzling on a cast iron plate, which beautifully carmelized the meat and onions. YUM! My only complaint about the food. They only have white rice; I prefer to frequent places that offer healthier options like brown or black. Other than that, this place is a gem! read more

Affordable and delicious. I wish I had known about this place sooner, and I'm thrilled to discover that they're now on DoorDash. The buns were steamed to perfection. I'll admit, I couldn't help but stuff one more into my mouth after already feeling like a balloon close to popping. The filling isn't seasoned incredibly, but they're delicious nonetheless. The fried squid had something special in the batter. Unfortunately, the squid slipped out on every single one! I didn't get to taste the fried shell with the squid in the same bite. I would still order it again; both were delicious! I would pass on the aha jiang mian. It wasn't terrible, but I didn't care for the vegetables they included in the black bean sauce. I think it was sweet potato. Han Joong Kwan makes this dish better. Overall, will order from here again. Decent food at a bargain. read more

It carry out restaurant is inside H mart market. The food is delicious and plentiful and did I mention inexpensive. We paid $40 A seafood Udong, shrimp fried rice, and sweet and sour pork. We are the fried rice and just have 3 spoons of the Udong. We were full. A lot of left over to enjoy on Sunday. The udong were not overcooked and I like that there was a lot of vegetables in the dish. Fried rice was good, and so was the pork according to my boyfriend. Called in to place an order for carryout and I was completely floored at the customer service. I had asked about the difference between two broth soups. The staff member immediately replied (in Korean), "We're busy right now. Why don't you just order." Part of food service is to be knowledgeable about the food selection, but this was not a lack of knowledge, but complete disrespect. Will not be ordering from here again. Personally I don't like dishes that are too salty and this soup came with the ribs, green onions, and radish which made it very refreshing. This place has been going downhill since a couple months ago. Food doesn't taste the same anymore and they're quite stingy with their cups. My favorite mandu- crispy and savory pork fried dumplings. The tteokbokki is perfectly chewy and satisfying. Whenever I'm in the area I'll plan to save my appetite for the tteokbokki- spicy rice cakes! Today I noticed I didn't have the traditional boiled egg, but maybe I had to ask for it to be added. My favorite thing to do is dip the mandu into the tteokbokki sauce!! Soooo awesome and decadent. I definitely like the side serving of crunchy radish or kimchi. Free hot soup and free water from the water tower. I like the staff here because they are so welcoming and patient with me when I get indecisive and needing to have them explain what the dishes are made of. I'm surprised this place doesn't have a higher rating since they are always decently busy. My favorite here is the Bibimbap and the Sundubu(Soondooboo) both you can get vegetarian. Nothing hits the spot like some good home korean cooking as my girlfriend says. Located inside of a shopping center, food court style. You sit on tables and chairs made from split logs and trees. Lots of people about talking and eating their meals but the food is fantastic! I ordered the bulgogi bibimbap, i love bibimbap and this place is nothing short of perfect. The stone bowl came sizzling and make my rice close to the burnt perfection. There was plenty of bulgogi enough for two, but i don't share my beef so tell your friend to get their own. This is the best bibimbap bowl I have ever had but for the price and place it's served, its about as good as it can get. Huge portion for the price I paid. When I first moved to Ellicott City and was introduced to the Lotte food court, this was the first place I ordered from. My family and I stopped visiting for a few years, however, because it was becoming clear that as a Chinese (aka non-Korean) family, our orders were not prioritized, or they would not give us any banchan or kimchi at all. Not okay. Fast forward a few years and I basically no longer visit any of the other stalls because when I come to Lotte's food court, I want one thing -- jjamppong. And Manna has it. It's a big ol' bowl of delicious noodles in a great spicy seafood broth (although if you want a stronger seafood flavor, I'd recommend some other stalls for that) and a bunch of goodies like mussels, head-on whole shrimp, and wood ears. It always comes with the danmuji (yellow radish), which is a great complement to the noodles. Payments have gotten easier in the past few years since they switched to a Square stand as well. Some of the items are definitely hit or miss. I think the jjamppong is a hit for sure. Get it. Enjoy it. Other items that we've gotten of late with success here are the sundubu and the dolsot bibimbap. Galbi and bulgogi are usually pretty good here too. read more

I said to a korean friend that this was the wrong place to get jajangmyun and she replied, "it's the wrong place to get a lot of things..." The jajangmyun was hands down horrible. Brown sauce, gooey, and a grand total of 3 pieces of pork on a huge bed of noodles. Didn't come with anything else. Dog in the Food Court . On Sunday, June 6, 2021 I went to the Lotte Food Court in Ellicott City for lunch, accompanied by my son and his wife. The Food Court was very nice and I was impressed with the menu and table setting. My son returned from Manna to the table with Bibimbap consisting of rice and tofu, that was contained in what appeared to be an aluminum bowl. I don't know what else was in the bowl. The bowl the food was served in appeared to be in rather bad shape. The rim was bent and the bottom was banged up, and appeared to be the type of bowl used for feeding dogs. We've never experienced an incident like this in any other restaurant. . I feel that the two women who served my son the "dog food " should be disciplined and my son should be compensated. My son is a good son, husband and father who doesn't deserve this humiliation from anyone and my son should be compensated. This stall is in a food court inside Lotte Mart. I ordered the beef bulgogi and my favorite dish ojinga bokeum. The meal came with 2 types of the simplest kimchi (plastic bucket grocery kimchi) and an extra bowl for the miso soup. I've always looked forward to eating my favorite dish whenever I stop by Lotte or Hmart... Ever since I've tried my first ojinga in Seoul. This place just made me hate it. The seafood was not fresh and maybe it was an off day but the bulgogi was also awful. It tasted like I went to a semi decent Korean place and ordered too much and took it home... Place in the fridge. Forgot about the bulgogi and remembered a week later then decided to quick microwave it because I had nothing else to eat and I already drank too much soju already. Yeah... This is not restaurant food... It shouldn't even be served in a food court. Then I was wondering why... I remembered the last time I had awful Korean like this was by fort Meade...
