We see this place last evening and decided to give it a try. It was pretty empty when went in and it worried us. It's very clean and the staff are friendly. More like a fast casual environment. The menu was varied with sushi, ramen and Korean options. I ordered a tuna nigiri and spicy tuna sushi which was very good. It was enough for an entree. I also ordered chicken teriyaki. It was flavorful well cooked except for the chicken being a little overcooked. It's a nice place and we'll be back to try other menu items. read more

This is a Korean own fusion restaurant. They have an extensive menu mixed of Korean, Japanese and a bit Chinese flavor of food. We had couple of the sushi rolls, Korean army stew and sake. Sushi flavor was good, but a bit too much rice on the outside of the rolls. The army stew is not what I am use to. Flavor was ok, but he ingredient inside is a bit off. I was expecting ramen like noodles, more spam and rice cake, instead of bunch of Vienna sausage which we dislike. And it's priced at $24. Not worth it, to my opinion. Since it's a fusion style restaurant so they did not bring small dishes for the entire table, rather only for people that ordered certain dishes. And the kimchi brought out did not taste fresh at all, tasted bad. Atmosphere was ok, standard but clean. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Plenty of parking by the shopping center parking lot. In a desolate restaurant I waited 15 min for a server to approach my table after being sat- that never came! I literally walked out. There was only 1 customer in the building. That very customer had to get up and go find a server to close out bc he himself was tired of waiting for service. Awesome concept (Korean Ramen fusion) that seemed to be a bit hit or miss. Things I loved: the ramen broth was spot on. Veggies were fresh and the to go packaging was great. Portions huge with a great add on deal of 4 bucks for a roll. Things that missed: the egg, while a whole egg, is just boiled. I don't know if there is a Korean version of ajitama, but it's needed here. The shrimp was just not well fried. The spicy salmon was just spicy in a way that lacked flavor. The tuna roll was perfectly fine. If this was the only Ramen game in town I'd go 4 stars, but there are better alternatives. I'll be back since the kids loved theirs and the commons is next door though. Worth trying this might hit the spot for some orders/people. read more

I have been to this location 2 times now and I have loved it both times. The menu isn't super big but they have options for everyone, vegan, gluten free, and those that eat everything. It is a mix of Korean and Japanese food and it is all so delicious. The staff are lovely and attentive. It never feels super busy or crowded. That could be due to the weather or we just go during non busy hours, either way, it is pleasant. There is ample free parking but it does share parking with multiple establishments in the area. The business is a decent size and beautiful inside. There is seating outside but is really only open during the warmer months. I was craving ramen and was planning to be in the area. So I found this spot through a google maps search. I placed an order online to be picked up. The only thing about the online process was that I had to create an account to order. I got there about 10 minutes after they said my order would be ready, and the broth was still very hot (I took a sip in the car lol). When I got home, it was time to dig in. I like that they put the broth in a separate container. I poured it in the provided bowl with all the fixings and mixed everything together. I ordered an extra egg, and they were a bit over cooked for me. I do wish it was underdone and with a little more flavor. The bulgolgi was tender and tasty. Everything was very good, and once I added the chili sauce/paste, it took things to another level. I'm already thinking about the next time I go back! read more

Namu brings Asian cuisine to Clarksville! I have family that live in the area and my fiancé and I wanted to try some ramen while we were in town. We went in about lunch time. We were greeted and quickly sat. It felt like it took a couple minutes to get drinks but several parties walked in after us. Overall, the service was pretty good. I like the modern feel of the restaurant too. It felt a little upscale but allowed for casual dress. My fiancé ordered the ramen combo, with potstickers and I think, shoyu ramen. The potstickers were okay. Not flavorless but I feel like they could've been punched up a bit. My fiancée's ramen was lovely! The broth was flavorful and the meat was cooked really well! I feel like it was a decent sized portion for the price; $15. My bulgogi ramen was okay. I felt like the broth left something to be desired. The noodles were cooked perfectly though. I also felt like the bulgogi was missing something too. I wish the bokchoi had been roasted, as it just seemed to have been put in the dish right off the plant. I added a photo of the egg as well. It felt overcooked for ramen, in my opinion. I prefer a little bit of jamminess to my eggs in my ramen, and it was not marinated. I'm used to soy sauce eggs in ramen, so plain felt out of character. Overall, not bad I would say. It hasn't left me feeling like I need to go back when I visit again though. This does feel like a more specialty restaurant for Clarksville. I would say get the shoyu ramen. 6/10 recommend read more

I really wanted to like this place, but it is on par with the lackluster food scene in Clarksville. Found a bone in the tuna sushi nigiri, let the waitress know, and they inspected the rest of the plate and gave us a replacement and extra piece. While I appreciate the customer service, there should never ever be a bone in sushi in the first place! Other than this, everything else was solid but not spectacular. Also ordered the seafood paella and it was a Korean-Japanese (and Spanish) fusion dish. I'm honestly still processing what I ate. Again I want to really want to like any Asian restaurant that surfaces in this neighborhood and this place has a lot of potential, but it fell flat. read more

Quite honestly the best ramen I've had in Maryland. My husband and I moved from Miami where we had been spoiled getting our ramen fix from a restaurant that literally had two only locations, one in Miami and the other in Japan. Came here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch, was seated promptly by the friendly staff. The menu had a number of Korean items and dishes that were enticing and I selected the bibimbap with chicken and the tofu jjigae (non-spicy). Food was prepared and brought to our table in promptly along with a trio of side dishes of kimchi, pickled cucumbers, and seaweed salad. The food tasted fresh and delicious had the right amount of umami. The ambience of the restaurant is nice too with a modern style and look. Shrimp Tempuras in Ramen were tasted so bad. Me and my daughter didn't ate all of shrimp tempuras and ramen. Shrimp Tempuras tasted really bad and soup is not good as expected. Rice in sushi rolls are tough. Prices are too expensive but foods are not excellent compared to price that they charged to you. The owner overcharged for two sushi rolls. I might paid it if I didn't check receipt before I pay. You make sure to check the receipt first before pay. read more

I have been here twice now. The food is very flavorful. The consistency is Something they need to work on, but overall very much enjoyed my meal today with my boys, husband and friend! This is our third visit to this super trendy and absolutely fabulous neighborhood hot spot. If you're vegan you have loads of options and all the dishes are incredibly delish. The tempura shrimp is one of my faves and any ramen you choose will truly blow you away. Then there are the rolls which are all so good you won't know which to choose. I've been a regular since Namu first opened some months ago. As a Ramen fan, this is by far my favorite Ramen place in the Columbia/Ellicott City area. You get a very generous serving and as a vegetarian, I love how fresh the veggies actually are. I'd bet they're grated/prepared on the spot for each order! Most recently they've now added the ability to substitute noodles toppings, bases etc. as you like with the Ramen. Being an Udon fan, that's also major plus for me. I've since tried the Dolsot Bibimbap, and it's now replaced Shin Chon as my favorite goto for that! Amazing food, amazing service, nice ambiance and oh yeah forgot to mention how wonderful the spring rolls and Gyoza are for appetizers. 5 stars through and through! read more

I really had a great experience here. The restaurant itself is on the smaller end, but I would describe it as nice and cozy. The service was friendly and prompt. We had some chit chat with the waitress and found out that it was family owned, so that's always nice to support a small business! But on to the most important thing...the food! It was fantastic. I've been to my fair share of Asian fusion places, and this would definitely be higher up on my list of places that I have enjoyed. I went with my husband, and he had bulgogi and a California roll on the side. He gobbled it up so quickly! I ordered ramen myself. The broth was especially flavorful, and the portioning of the toppings seemed to be more on the generous side. I got the spicy pork topping, and I would recommend others to get this topping as well, if you like a little kick! I would definitely come here again. This place is a fantastic dining experience with more than just ramen and sushi. The ramen was fantastic. I was worried their chicken broth might not be as full bodied as other ramen places, but nothing could be further from the truth. The broth was as rich and creamy as one could hope. I had don koch, which was vaguely tonkotsu adjacent with the pork topping but still with the chicken broth. Very delicious. My spouse had the bulgogi ramen which he said was fantastic and richly seasoned. Our son had the shrimp tempura ramen which he also loved. We got the ramen combo for two of them - one with California roll and the other with veggie roll - and those were both delicious. It's often the simplest foods that show the quality of a restaurant and they really nailed the veggie roll. So many sushi places give you some shaved veggie scraps wrapped in rice, but this one had good chunks of vegetables and the balance between them was perfect. The service was excellent. Our waitress checked in on us often and was very conscientious about our son's food allergies. She always seemed to know when to check in and was easy to flag down when we had another request. The inside of the restaurant is not large but very open so it feels comfortably spacious. There were plenty of people there but it didn't feel crowded or loud. We did see plenty of other dishes going by so we spent part of the meal planning on which foods to try next. The Korean food looked wonderful and they had some nice looking banchan to go with it. We're thrilled to have something so nice so close to us, we plan on making it a regular thing! May they have better luck than the other restaurants in that spot read more

The ramen is a little odd but I think it depends on preference. If you're looking for Japanese ramen it's not it. It's like a fusion of Japanese and Korean but I'd say it's more so Korean than anything. I got their miso pork char siu ramen. The broth was not very good. Could barely taste the miso and if you've had proper Japanese ramen you'd know that the broth is supposed to be thick and heavy and very rich in flavor but this almost tasted water down and lighter so if you prefer that then that's great. Also, the pork was just pretty much the pork belly you see at Korean bbq. It's much thinner then what an actual char siu should be and it looked like they just grilled it and then placed it on top. The other items on the menu that were actually Korean dishes looked like it would be good. I got their tteokboki as an appetizer and it was good. I think if I'm ever back I'm only going to get Korean dishes and not Japanese dishes. I don't think they do a good job of fusion read more
