Plenty of seating available even when the parking lot is packed for the lunch rush. The price is 19 per person. The sushi was good but not all that great of a variety. Most contained tuna and salmon. The buffet had a lot of choices. I enjoyed the spicy pork and the bulgogi. Then also had a cinnamon punch and lemonade. This is my first time try cinnamon punch and I could say that it was quite interesting but not something I would get again. The lemonade was good but very sweet so I had to diluted with some water. You do have to be here from 11am-2pm (I believe). I came with a large group and we were seated very quickly. Everyone thought it was a fantastic value. My Korean friend even said some of the dishes remind him of his mom's cooking, which I think is a very high compliment :) Since it's so affordable and a buffet, don't expect anything intricate or outstanding. First, for the price and the variety you just can't get it any better! I always recommend these if you don't really know the cuisine but want the option to try different things. We did go at the back end of the service so i wonder if we went earlier on if the food would be more fresh and warm. They offered a variety of various Korean dishes. You get sushi and KBBQ which is such a solid combo, especially if you show up starving like we did The food was good and the service was really friendly and fast. Decided to come for their first day of dinner buffet and again they did not disappoint. The staff were amazing. The array of selection that they have of Korean dishes were amazing. You can choose from the spicy pork, bulgogi, crispy pork, soondoobu, japchae and fried rice. That is just a few to name there's definitely more to it. On top of all that!!!! Took forever to order when there were very small amount of customers dining in the non buffet side. We were with our kids and they only provided 2 spoons and chopsticks and 4 plates... we have 3 kids, party of 5. When we asked for additional utensils, they looked at us confused. It took a while for food to come out. My bibimbap was okay, very little meat. The japchae did not taste like traditional japchae, also very limited ingredients, just lots of noodles. Solongtang had almost no meat in it either. Side dishes were old, especially the kimchi and kkakduki. Unlikely that we will come back again. Came here mainly to try the beef tartare, and ordered the standard Korean BBQ. Interior design is nice, the booth setup gives you plenty of space and privacy. Service was really good, the BBQ is cooked for you, and dishes arrived quickly. The BBQ was typical Korean BBQ good - I can't say it's better than the half a dozen BBQ places in the area, but it wasn't bad. Biggest disappointment was the beef tartare: it was still near frozen and the texture was not great, it was also cut into very long strings like noodles and I did not love it the way I loved Korean beef tartare when I had them in LA's K-town. We are so glad we finally came to this place to give a try. Authentic Korean bbq. It's located next-door to Tous Les Jour bakery, there are plenty of parking in the shopping center, but mostly always packed. The interior decorating feels like a big cafeteria, plain and open. Powerful smoke ventilation system. Quality meats, not the cheapest but tasty. Great selection of small plates. They have a specialty fusion dipping sauce, it is green and spicy...so good. You know this place is authentic when you first walk in and all you see are Koreans eating here in large groups. Another way you can tell is from the menu, they offer some of the authentic Korean dishes that are meant for sharing. On top of that, aside of regular selections of Korean soju they also have one of my favorite, which is the sugar-free Jinro. Good service, very attentive and efficient. There were about 7 different sushi rolls to choose from and a lot more Korean options. There's no time limit which is amazing. They also sell beer, wine, and liquor. My review is just for the lunch buffet. Came here for their lunch buffet for the first time and was very disappointed. Best way I can describe it is cafeteria food you would find in a Korean hospital or school. Selection was very limited. Looks like they decided to divide the restaurant in half. When you walk in left half is reserved for the lunch buffet, the right half is for Korean bbq. For the buffet, it's divided in 3 sections. First section is comprised of sushi rolls, a lot of rice with a little fish, second section is comprised of side dishes, like kimchi and salad, third section is comprised of entrees, like bulgogi, spicy pork, and fried pork cutlet (seasoning on the entrees was not good, tasted bland and the food was lukewarm). If you're looking for a quick Korean lunch and aren't picky, then this place is fine, but for me I think I can find better food elsewhere. Except for drinks, everything is self serve. Because the space is long, if it's busy you end standing in a long line and it can feel congested. Plenty of tables, family style, but could be challenging if they're busy. We didn't go for the bbq this time, but got the seafood jeongol, assorted jeon, and jokbal & noodles (only remembered to take a pic of the seafood jeongol :/). The place is located next to Tous Les jours bakery shopping center. The parking is a bit crazy most of the time but inside is nice and clean. I finally tried their lunch buffet which is available Monday through Friday, 11am to 2:30pm. My friends and I got there at 12pm. We were impressed with the selection. The first half of the buffet are basic sushi items like California roll, salmon roll, tuna roll and some salmon/tuna nigiri to name a few. Middle section had ingredients that you can make your own custom bibimbap. And lastly they had some common Korean dishes like bulgogi, spicy pork, japchae, spicy rice cakes, pork katsu, fish cake soup, fried dumplings. We really enjoyed the food and the price is very reasonable ($20~). But the reason it's 4 out of 5 stars is that they couldn't really keep up with the demand. Many of the sushi items were empty the whole time we were there and popular dishes like spicy rice cakes, dumplings and sweet and sour pork were low too. New Korean BBQ that opened up a little over a month ago. Nestled at the end of an already busy shopping center. Be careful of tight spaces and the multitude of cars. The space is a lot bigger than expected and looks like some.parts are still being worked on. Otherwise, all is still very new and shiny. The bbq is fine. The cuts of meat, especially for the price, could be better quality. We were a little underwhelmed, but still came out full and satisfied. We came back a second time to try out other dishes like the galbijjim (I think it was labeled as beef steam galbi). Newly opened kbbq spot! The interior is clean and large. Service is very polite and attentive. They just opened this week after a long time renovating the inside. I wanted to like it but there were a lot of misses in the food and with so many other options nearby, it was not an instant hit. We ordered fatty brisket, marinated galbi, seafood pancake, and spicy cold noodle. The meats were pretty good and our server cooked them well. I liked the brisket more, personally. The cold noodle was good but the pancake was not as crispy as we would've liked it. Their banchan was fresh and plenty of variety. Unfortunately, because they're still in their opening phase, they didn't have a bunch of things on their menu like the prime galbi or corn cheese. I also thought the steamed egg side dish was not good at all. It was very overcooked and dry. Overall, I thought the meal was okay. I came here I think on the first or second day of opening. Very excited to try the food. Service needs improvement. I came with a party of 4 and there as so much confusion on trying to seat us. While we were on the way being seated they were moving a party that was already seated. While we were waiting to be served the fire or gas or something went out so it took about 20 minutes for us to order. I had to remind the server a few times on some housekeeping items like spoons and cups. While checking out and ordering our sever switched that responsibility to someone else and speaking in Korean "here you do this I can't" which is not really great table side manners. Food Poisoning Warning!!! Last Thursday (8/21), I went to Haeban for the lunch special and ended up suffering from food poisoning symptoms. The boiled cabbage was clearly spoiled, and the side dishes were not fresh either. According to the restaurant owner, the cabbage had gone bad and was taken out of the refrigerator the night before to be thrown away, but due to an employee's mistake, it was put back on display the next morning. As the one who suffered, this is a situation I cannot understand. I have heard that buffet restaurants generally discard leftover food at the end of the day to maintain freshness. Of course, each restaurant may have its own practices, but if food that has already been displayed at room temperature is put back into storage, it raises serious concerns about hygiene. When I reported my food poisoning symptoms, the owner apologized and offered me two buffet vouchers, asking me to come back. I declined. How could I return to a restaurant that caused me to suffer food poisoning? We were searching for a late dinner place on a Friday night and saw this new Korean BBQ soft opening and decided to try it. We were so delighted with the food, the service and the kindness they showed us even though it was already late and almost closing time! Our waiter, Chris, was very kind and attentive to our table and continued to offer more Banchans whenever we would eat up any of those delicious side dishes. We ordered the combination which already included beef and pork cuts, so we got to taste both meats. One very unique and new for us in a Korean BBQ place is the green sauce. Whatever it is, it was delicious, a little spicy but very good. Chris also offered to bring us the traditional sesame oil sauce which is a must! He also offered more lettuce every time we would eat up the bunch. I really appreciate that they did not even rush us, even though it was very late. Definitely going to be one of my new favorite places for a family dinner! I do have one suggestion to the management: change the cut of the pork belly into thinner slices. Pork needs to be cook more well done than beef, especially pork belly. The thick slices take too long to cook on the inside. Anyways, we are definitely coming back here! read more

4.5 stars! Came here a couple weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised! We got the beef brisket and the pork belly which came with complimentary silky egg and soup. The soup was a little salty for our preference and the egg was a more omelette texture but loved that it came with the meats. The meats were so delicious and filling and the dipping sauces that it came with were choices ive never had before but absolutely loved. Our waitress also got us some lettuce to go with our meal which we were so happy to be provided with. Another star of the show was the fried dumplings. They didn't have any combos for 2, so we did our best to finish this, but had leftovers, but believe me, we WANTED to finish this it was SOO good. We held our father's bday celebration there for about 30 people and it was wonderful. The staff were super accommodating and helpful with set-up and food service. The room was bright, clean and spacious. There was so much food and all of it was absolutely delicious (buffet style). The food wasn't too salty, overly seasoned or oily like I'm accustomed to at most restaurants. Every dish tasted fresh and clean, like a home cooked meal. I would absolutely recommend Hyeban for booking parties or any large gatherings. We were curious about the Korean bbq so we went back another night for just a bbq dinner and it was even more impressive. We ordered a combo for 3 people and all of the meat was really good quality. We prefer non-marinated meat so the quality of the meat couldn't be masked by a sweet marinade. The meat was tender and well-prepared. We also tried a new menu item that they recently added, the grilled prawns. They were huge and also delicious. They went exceptionally well with the pepper dip/sauce. Loved the food and the service. The meat was tender and juicy. My favorite was the marinated beef. The mixed jeon was thin and crispy, just perfect. We also had grilled shrimp and it was fresh and sweet. Oh, I really liked their special house-made green sauce. It's a bit spicy but refreshing. I dipped all my meat into the green sauce. The restaurant is clean and wide open. It can probably accommodate a large groups of people at once. This will be our new go-to place for Koran BBQ. read more

I was excited to check out a new Korean bbq restaurant on Rt. 40! We ordered Korean bbq at lunchtime. Although our server Ha Young, was very friendly and attentive, Bbq hamore far than meat and meh at best and the bibim-naeng-myun was tasteless! On the otherhand, seafood pancake, daen-jang and gae-ran-jjim were pretty good. I'm glad I got to try out a different Korean bbq, besides Shin Chon and Chosun Hwaro but I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. Hopefully they'll improve the quality of food and become a Korean bbq staple on Rt. 40! read more
