Decided to come here since we haven't been in a while. No particular reason. We had the gyoza, chicken wings and hot and sour soup for appetizers. Gyoza was very good and my husband really liked the hot & sour soup... honestly the wings were pretty boring. Plain fried wings with duck sauce for dipping. (Pretty blah) He had the Ma-la for an entree and enjoyed it. I had the sesame chicken. My chicken was okay. Tasted more like sweet & sour chicken with sesame seeds on it. It wasn't bad, just didn't taste like sesame chicken. Staff was friendly. Prices are good. We may be back

The service was slow, taking quite a while to take our orders after seating (we were starving) and another while to bring the check (and they brought the wrong one which the quickly replaced). The food, however, was quick to get to the table once ordered. Because my wife enjoyed her dish so much, we are likely to revisit when around Ridgefield. Ambiance was nice with pretty, colorful big paintings on the walls. Place as a whole is small but not claustrophobic.

I really wanted to love this place, but after ordering the regular ramen bowl twice now, I have to skip it moving forward. Both times, the broth was completely unpalatable - overwhelmingly and sickly sweet, rather than savory, rich, and balanced. Traditional ramen broth relies on deep umami and natural flavors, but this tasted heavily artificial and sweet to the point of being inedible. While the "build-your-own-bowl" concept is great and the staff are friendly, the execution on the ramen stock just isn't there. I'd suggest sticking to their stir-fried dishes or traditional Chinese menu items, but unfortunately I've not found them to be much better than the Ramen.

A charming woodsy setting on a hill without any clutter around a very picturesque scene for this Texan. We had Calamari and Ahi Tuna for appetizers and Lobsters Roll, Fish Basket, Salmon Quinoa Bowl for entree. The Lobster Rolls were buttery savory delight on soft toasted bread. Salmon and Fish Basket was absolutely delicious and hands down this was our best meal while visiting the area. The Service was friendly, helpful and attentive during our meal. We're so glad we picked this location for our last meal out in Danbury.

I will say it can get quite loud in there when full which it was on a Saturday night. We shared a salad to start- it was some sort of winter salad with spinach. For mains he got a steak- the steak itself was well cooked and flavorful. The mashed potatoes normally his favorite side were quite bland. He had me try them and I agreed. I ordered the mushroom ravioli. I went to take my first bite however and found they'd brought out the lobster ravioli instead. After awhile of waiting they brought out the correct meal. They did comp the ravioli which was very nice and aside from the small mix up we had great service throughout. We'll definitely come back but it is pricier than our average meal out. Hoping to try their brunch soon!

Waiter was friendly and gave us some time to make our selections. I chose the egg roll, tangerine beef. Hubby chose the orange chicken. I asked the waiter if the soda came in a can. He said yes. We then waited for our meal. He returned quickly with my soda, in a glass with lots of ice. Not what I expected. But I guess I wasn't specific about my drink order. My egg roll was good. Cut decoratively in half at an angle, piping hot. Our food arrived shortly. Both plates were generous and came with white rice. Cut a portion in small pieces to taste with rice. Tasted so good, burned my tongue a little it was so hot. Ate a bit more, and that's when my mouth started burning up! The dish was a little more spicy than I expected. Tried to eat more, but it was too much for me. My hubby on the other hand was in his glory. He Loves heat. The spiciest the better. He tried mine and said it was just as spicy as his, which he loved. So, I just thought we would take mine home for him to enjoy later. I have to say it was good, before I had to cry uncle. So would definitely have to return for another try and let them know I can't take the spiciness. I did notice that the restaurant was busy with takeout orders. So I guess that's their main business. So I wouldn't say this was a cozy place. But the food is good. Lots of parking outside since they're next to a supermarket and liquor store. There weren't any 'lunch' specials, so this was over $50 with tip. By the way, lots to choose from the menu. I only took pictures of some pages.

I got the Pho with duck, and my wife got the crispy duck dinner. Both dishes were "meh" at best. Below average. As far as service... it was harried and we were only one of two couples eating in this "NOT so cozy" restaurant. We went at 5:30 expecting to wait because it was small and "cozy" and it was Chinese New year. (1) no problem eating in during dinner hours (2) not a stitch of celebratory anything for Chinese New Year.. not even a place mat. No chinese noodles at the table and there was one continuous plain bench and brown tables (no table cloths) on the opposite side aka cafe style and cafeteria style seats. Hardly "cozy" at all. Overall high expectations, below average experience, ambiance and food.
