We are updating this review as we came here from previous good dining experiences but tonight was different. The wait staff was nice and attentive but didn't get our wine order correct to start off the night. That was a disappointment and their menu had changed from previous years also. I kept the second glass and said it is OK if she charged me for it as I did drink it. My husband finally got his red wine. We decided to try the fried gnocchi appetizer, which was actually very delicious and hot. Unfortunately, the ravioli came and it just felt like it was reheated. The sauce was not hot, the ravioli seemed made from frozen and was barely lukewarm and we just didn't feel comfortable eating it for food safety reasons. We sent it back, but there was no other menu item in which we wanted to try because they already have very limited vegetarian options. They got rid of most of their flatbread pizzas, which they call padinas and now make them with a tortilla crust. That just did not sound appetizing so we ended up just finishing our appetizer and salad and we left. The overall vibe of this restaurant is good and has nice decor and a very intimate space. I don't think we'd come back for the food but the wine here is pretty good. Very sad as we feel they have gone downhill since their start. Might be a while before we return. read more

We had lunch a couple months ago in Saint Clair at Mannina's restaurant- I had an excellent gnocchi dish that was SO delicious. Was with two other friends who also enjoyed their choices! Friendly owner and ,waitress, good service, and good food, so we will go back!! We had a leisurely lunch, did a little shopping across the way in a woman's boutique, and plan to do lunch at Mannina's again before summer ends! It was definitely worth the ride from St. clair Shores/Clinton Twp. I love, love, love their breakfast. Absolutely everything on the breakfast menu is outstanding. The breakfast drink options are also worth a visit, the Bloody Mary is delicious. Not over the top with the garnish but still a solid taste. The waitstaff is always attentive, even when they are spread thin, the one day our waitress was the only person there (she was cooking and waitressing) but still the service was good and she was so positive. It's a really pretty set-up. Great for a date or quiet family time. My mom and daughter and I have breakfast here once a month because they let my moms therapy dog sit with us outside, even in the winter their heater set-up keeps us cozy. Other than breakfast time I have only been to buy wines for gifts, my step mom loves their wines and I have given them as gifts on numerous occasions. read more

What an awesome find! My wife found this place and it is absolutely wonderful! We had appetizers and drinks and both were delicious. We had a small charcuterie board as well as the artichoke dip. The artichoke dip is served hot and has large chunks of artichoke in it and it was the best that we've ever had. The charcuterie board was a very nice mix of munster and cheddar cheeses, salami, grapes, cream cheese with jam, crackers and bread. The presentation was beautiful. They made the salami look like a flower. We did not have a meal here, but we will definitely be back to have dinner or appetizers and drinks again. Or both. Lol. So happy to have found this place! A Sunday breakfast with bottomless bellinis ! Shared a pancake charcuterie. The presentation was very cool. Came with waffles, pancakes, sausage, bacon, numerous bowls of fruit and a small skillet of scrambled eggs. Everything tasted very good. Watered down wine. Bummer for being in such a great location. The service was good and it was clean. Again, just a very poor quality wine. When I say "watered down" I don't literally mean this place waters down their wine, I mean they are purchasing cheap wine that is very weak, hence it tastes watered down. read more

I'm giving them a five star review because; they have impeccable service, and are always so quick. The food is always top notch; they have such an amazing Italian selection. Their weekend crepes are to die for, I love that they have savory, and sweet so there's something for everybody; the inside, and patio of their building is beautiful. Relax and take it in. Mannina's is a beautiful space with so much attention to detail. While sitting there you will notice a lot of cool elements. Mannina's did an amazing job of making this into a comfortable lounge area. I was impressed with the ambiance of the place; from brick walls, to wood table tops, a leather couch, and industrial metal. If you visit Mannina's make a point to touch the bar table top, I've never felt anything like it....so soft! Wine merchandise is available for sale. They sell wine glasses, signs, wine bags, and of course their house made wines. I enjoyed the flight of wine. It was nice to be able to sample several types of wine before getting another glass. My sister and I shared the fondue, it was amazing! They offer veggies, bread, chips, and some fruit to dip in the fondue. The bar tenders were very friendly. They offered helpful advice on food options. I am looking forward to going to a wine bingo Wednesday. read more

We were so excited for date night here. Had been planning it for weeks with our friends. Hired a sitter to specifically come here for 'All you can eat pasta night'. When we got there, the entire restaurant was smoked out by something in the kitchen. That didn't bother us too bad, smelled really bad, was told they got hit by a rush. (Why is your kitchen smoked out by a rush?) We sat down and each couple ordered a bottle of wine, fondue, and an appetizer. Food was good, and we enjoyed the company and wine. Fondue cheese was good, accompaniments were okay. We then ordered a round of cosmos and pasta. I am a vegetarian, so I ordered rigatoni and palomino sauce. Husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs. His came with two meatballs first round. Mine was just the palomino sauce and rigatoni. It was really, really good. We finished and drank lots of wine, and ordered a second plate. Got a scoff from the waitress, it was as if we were putting her out. Or a shock to order a second plate. (Mind you, it's not a heaping amount anyway. Especially just rigatoni and sauce). Second plate comes, husband receives spaghetti and only one meatball. Mine was equally as tasty as before. We order another bottle of wine. And another round of cosmos. We planned on spending some money. It was date night with lots of friends! Husband was like, I could do a third plate. (Again, not huge helpings) and if they think so - it's all you can eat pasta night, why this next level of judgement? Husband orders a third plate. Waitress almost didn't want to put it in, like she would be in trouble or something? His plate ends up coming, and with no meatball. The owner also came out with the plate. He proceeded to see "what was going on" and that "no one orders another plate of pasta." My husband said, we waited all day for all you can eat, I have a huge appetite, and why each plate, one less meatball? The owner basically came out to heckle us about eating "all you can eat pasta" on "all you can eat pasta night". It was uncomfortable and beyond annoying. We were spending a lot of money there. I could maybe see an annoyance if we came in and ordered the pasta and a water. But we had two bottles of wine, fondue, an appetizer, two rounds of cosmos. And anticipated being there for a few hours to catch up with friends. The pasta and sauce was really good. But needless to say, we will not be coming back, literally because of the heckling for ordering all you can eat pasta on a all you can eat pasta night. Sir, for all we purchased, your extra noodles and sauce was nothing compared to what we spent. And lost you future customers for making us feel uncomfortable as guests. And it also smelled like burnt food all night. Such a bummer, won't be back. read more

Ran into this place because there was too long of a wait at the place I really wanted to go to. Got right in and was not disappointed. The Aglio e Olio was about the most authentic I've tasted in years. It brought me back to the days when my nana would whip it up like it was nothing. They use angel hair, which I've found to be very difficult myself. It usually dries out to much as it soaks in most of the oil. Not this one though. It was perfect. What an adorable place!!! My husband and I stopped by randomly on our trip up to Port Huron. There was a comfortable looking heated patio with a cute table for two. I was a little apprehensive because of another review about that food but I'm go glad I ignored it! The atmosphere was awesome, the drinks were great and the food was the best part!!! What a cool place to have a glass of wine and appetizers. But the best part... Desert! Those deserts are to die for especially the almond cones filled with heavenly cream. A great place to meet up with friends and chill. The staff is super friendly as well. Every time we go, we get a different "flight" and have a new favorite wine. Super nice owners and waitresses. Slow service, which isn't really a problem. The food is not good. There is not a chef, but a cook. The tomato skewers are horrid because they are made [ had them twice here] with cheap bland tomatoes, tasteless small cubes of mozzarella, and cold frozen tortellini!!!. The chicken salad sandwich is made on sandwich bread with rotisserie chicken and that's about it. The mushroom ravioli is good. The salads are sad and boring, right out of a grocery store package. The wines are weak and cheap, sorry to say. The atmosphere is very nice and the vibes are super. I'm hoping this review gets the attention of the owners and they take care of the food at least. read more
