I wish I could leave a review based on service/quote, but we never got that far. On Tuesday, I requested quotes, attaching pictures and clear description of sf and what was needed (strip buildup from vinyl floor). Wrote back that they might come Thursday (wouldn't know until Wednesday night). I wrote Wednesday night, having received no call/text. They said Tuesday the following week (one week after the request placed). When I replied confirming and asking if I needed to do anything to prepare, Manny asked "Wait...I thought we were just doing a quote." Not great communication or follow up. Beware! Manny was recommended by our realtor, and grossly misrepresented himself as capable of installing hardwood floors. He bought the wrong wood and we had to tear it up mid-project. His crew (of two) never shows up before noon, if they show at all. And as if all that weren't bad enough, they put three enormous holes in our ceiling! P.S. Though he denies it, Manny did buy the wood for the subfloor and it was of a different thickness that the rest. He then told us they could simply grind it down to make the floors even. We opted to remove it and hire a new contractor because obviously, he is incompetent. As for "excellent customer service", I am out thousands of dollars with the deposit, wasted materials, and damage to my home. Please, avoid Mannix Floors so you do not suffer the same. read more

Manny was so helpful in polishing the vinyl floors in our home! It started with an easy quote on yelp, then he setup a time to come out and measure for a precise quote. And within a week were on the schedule. We have a mix of original 1950s vinyl composite tile and newer VCT that we've been sealing/polishing ourselves the last few years. That's very tedious and needs done every 6 months, and we can't buff out the scratches and embedded dirt. He and his partner used their equipment to strip all of those spots and applied several matte coats to seal and finish, which should hopefully get us through 1-2 years. Reasonably priced considering they spent half a day and moved all the furniture around too! They also refinish and repair wood floors, and the quote was very reasonable. So we plan on having him back next year to do those! Highly recommend Mannix for your flooring needs. read more

UNREAL! I was moving out of my old house and my landlord decided to be a full on dick and say he was not going to give me back my deposit until his floors were cleaned. This was after living there for two years. Pretty sure that is considered normal wear and tear. Anyway the deposit was $4200 and I was not about to let that slip away. The issue however is the floors are the dumbest thing ever. Tiny little pebble stones throughout the whole house. Do you know how much normal dust and grime you get in-between these things in two years, especially when living next to highland ave. I was screwed. UNTIL! I found Mannix. I called them and I spoke with the owner Manny. This guy is amazing. Give him your money. Hell give him more than he quotes you because he deserves it haha. This was on a Saturday that I called desperate. This guy was taking his kids to the LA fair! What an amazing dad! Anywho he told me not to worry as I was freaking out about the floors and not getting my deposit back. Said he would be there in the morning on a Sunday! He shows up and in two hours, this place was cleaner than when the owner had installed it. It was shocking to see how much dirt was sitting on the surface of our floor especially since prior to moving in a year ago we were told that the floors were already buffed, however it was obvious it clearly was not provided the amount of dirt that Manny and Ray were able to remove. Just when I thought I had found a business that actually provides customer service, I was let down once again. He agreed to meet me within a one hour time frame which was fine, but when the date/time rolled around, he was no where to be found. No call, no text, nothing. I kept raving about how great of service he gave me just a few days before, just to be disappointed. I do not appreciate when others are not considerate of my time. Highly recommended! Awesome results!! We made the mistake of using Mop and Glo on our bamboo floors which caused a wax buildup that would not come off at all. Our floors looked completely dull with shrikes every where. After many failed attempts of trying to get our floors back to their original condition and shine, I knew we needed to call upon some professionals. Mannix not only restored our floors but made them look even better then when they were first installed. All of the wax buildup is gone and our floors have this rich shine which looks amazing. Manny was incredibly friendly and responsive from the start, when I emailed to inquire about a quote. I have carpet, pergo and linoleum, and all three needed cleaning. After three calls to various floor-cleaning services, Mannix was the only one who said they could so all three kinds of floor. They came today and did an amazing job - the pergo...WOW. I mean, WOW. We've had them for 10 years so there was built-up dirt that just made it look dingy, with the sections around our doors being the worst. The pergo now looks as it did when it was first installed. Clean, bright, beautiful. Ditto with the linoleum. The carpets are also spotless and the furniture has been moved back - another service (moving furniture) that two other companies said they would not do (??). It's easy to see that Manny really cares about the customer, making sure to respond in a timely manner and offering advice. The pricing is extremely fair, and there is event a new customer discount (10%). We would (and will!) use Mannix again and would recommend them to anyone.
