Very good service in-store and prices were very fair. Delivery leaves a lot to be desired in both the scheduling and the judgement of who we need to allow in our home. Went in to purchase a new washer dryer set. I stated my primary concern was reliability. I was shown 2 sets that were supposed to fit the bill. Purchase the Maytag set. The washer didn't make it a month before the controller board went. Took over 3 weeks to get the part, every time I called service for an update...no call was returned. Worked well for almost 2 weeks...received another error (same as initial problem). Laundry is wet and in the machine, with lid locked. I am starting the process to get this POS replaced, as it has been broken more than working. Hopefully this will happen soon, otherwise will be trying other avenues to get this issue resolved. UPDATE: Received call from the service manager stating that he was going to get this resolved for me by last week. This did not happen, and part is still back ordered, laundry is still stuck in washer (probably ruined), and no further communication from the service manager. UPDATE: The service manager has been working with Whirlpool in the background, and has received approval to swap this washer out! I'm waiting to hear from the store, but this is great news. Service desk was smooth, friendly, and accommodating, which I rate at 4 stars. Delivery is rated 2 stars. This includes the delivery window of 4 hrs. Come on! Seriously?!. For a fridge, a delivery window should be a 1 hr time frame in order to empty out the contents & to ensure items do not thaw out. If the warehouse in Athol (where the call came from) cannot answer their phones, then what's the point? A 5-star could be accomplished if the driver called to provide an ETA. We bought all new KitchenAid appliances from Mannys less than two years ago. On July 5 our fridge broke. We called to set up a service but no one was available. I asked someone to give me a call as soon as they could to set up a service appointment. In the meantime, I was able to semi-fix the fridge while we waited. Finally we were able to schedule a call for over a month later on August 15. When no one showed up that day, I called to inquire. Oops she had scheduled it for July 15. The service guy finally showed up to fix the fridge the next day. It's less than a month later and we woke up to find that the fridge and freezer are now broken. Edit: The initial call back told me to call the fridge company instead because they are booking weeks out and "it's not like I am under warranty anyway". The next call back told me they didn't know when someone could come back. When I asked to speak with the manager given the history - i was told she'd put the request in but wasn't sure when someone would be able to get back to me. Finally got a manager who magically got me a technician that day and a loaner fridge. Turns out the condenser on the fridge has been broken. The first technician never caught it while it was under warranty...... the part that needed to be replaced then was one that oddly wasn't under warranty.... Hmmmmm. read more

The fridge I bought had a consistent high pitch ringing (difficult to ignore even in surrounding rooms), plus some freezing in fridge/thawing in freezer issues. The staff I interacted with were not on the same page with each other and did not communicate well. Did get the fridge returned and after a few days and phone calls, got reimbursement minus the shipping cost. Overall experience was frustrating, would not shop there again. If you are in the market for new appliances Manny's Appliance in Leominster is NOT the place to go. Save yourself the time and aggravation. Stephanie and her bait and switch team will have you thinking your getting a great deal with all of the rebates and incentives. The prices were exactly the same as the big box store except you will need to wait weeks for the order to come.... incomplete. After weeks of waiting you will be greeted with another pleasant surprise of paying FULL price. The rebates never come no matter how many hoops you jump through. To top off the situation we have a stove that after a few weeks needed a new motherboard, a fridge that can't regulate temperature (freezing liquids when thermostat is set at 41 degrees), a dishwasher that I had to install myself because "they don't do that", and a microwave that i had to buy at Lowes because the one on order never came in weeks after it was promised. read more

Bought a high-grade Maytag Washer 06/30/2018. Now less than 3 years later, it died. Would not spin out - something to do with the computer. $120 to come to the door then $300 for the part plus tax plus installation. Never mind - we are buying a new washer elsewhere. Why. Well, after the purchase in 2018, we purchased a Maytag microwave from Manny's. They had been so very nice with the washer purchase. Well, one week before the microwave was to celebrate its 1st birthday, it died. Whew! By less than a week, we were able to get a new microwave. In between the above, our daughter purchased a Maytag washer from Manny's (based on the good experience with the sales people). The washer arrived with a damaged door. Manny's wanted her to take a $35.00 rebate for the damaged appliance. Her reply: "I bought a new washer, I want a new perfect washer." They agreed-left with the washer and finally brought a replacement THREE WEEKS later. Does Manny's BUY appliances that do not "pass muster" elsewhere? Don't know BUT we will not play "Russian Roulette" with their stuff. Never buy anything there again. Hope you do not either. read more

Just got my delivery or should I say half delivery. Bought a high dollar washer and dryer set. Sale went fine, didn't take but a few minute for them to take my money. All set for washer and dryer. Delivery team shows up with a damaged pedestal. Now I can either take the washer without or they have to come back. Had to choose for them to come back at their recommendation cause it's easy to put it together in the truck as it's so heavy. Installers not to professional. Kept touching things ie walls, doors. Not cool. They did deliver dryer. Should have extra pedestals because the said this was common for one to be damaged. So far not happy. read more

Our 11 yr. old washing machine stopped working, so I decided to try Manny's in Leominster. I walked in and began looking at the washing machines. Chris walked over and I told him what I was looking for. He went over all different types of energy efficient machines and answered all my questions. I purchased a machine and it was delivered within a couple of days. From start to finish, there was no pressure from Chris in sales, the men who delivered the machine and installed it were very friendly and efficient. One star because in-store service was efficient. Spent $1k on new gas grill which was dropped and damaged during delivery. Delivery person said he would call store immediately regarding repairs or replacement. Waited 24 hours, did not hear from Manny's, called store and was told they were unaware of the issue and someone would call me back - Still waiting. I like to support locally-owned businesses vs. national chains and am shopping for other appliances for my new home - but NOT at Manny's. A while ago we replaced our stove with one from Home Depot. There was the definite "used car" feeling emanating from the sales person there and I always felt uncomfortable with that purchase. So when we needed a new dishwasher I decided to try Manny's, which had been recommended by a friend. I found Stephanie very helpful, I didn't have a lot of questions because I had done my homework and knew what I wanted. The dishwasher was in stock and was delivered and installed within a couple of days. The servicemen who came to my house were respectful and professional. If I ever needed service, I wouldn't hesitate to call them. I am happy enough with the product and the service that we are now planning to buy a washing machine there. The unfortunate thing about this kind of a forum is that human nature dictates that we make sooooo much noise about the small things that may go wrong and say not a word about the things that go as they should or better. We prefer giving our business to a local business rather than a big chain but I would not recommend Manny's at this point. We purchased a fridge and stove in July of 2018. In 2019-the fridge died and we had to pay for repairs and now not even three years later-the electric stove is dead. I was not impressed with the two repairmen who came out to assess the fridge. They had to call someone else to figure it out. I will give credit to Ben who came out to look at the stove. He knew what he was doing and he was very nice. BUT...it is very disconcerting to see that the power connection that is fully enclosed was corroded off due to poor connection. Whirlpool didn't make this stove properly apparently and I have to wonder if I could have had a fire. The digital piece for the settings and clock alone is going to cost 225 for the part not to mention the power cord cost and additional $30 repair cost on top of the assessment charge. I could do without the clock -it's being able to see the preheat and oven numbers. With our history, I hoped Manny's would waive the $119.95 assessment fee but they offered nothing, no apology...nothing. We figured we are now paying them half of what a new stove would cost and it's not even three years old. I do appreciate that Ben was able to temporarily fix so I can use the stove so thank you Ben. He is the only positive I can say about Manny's right now. read more

My wife and I were shopping for a new washing machine this morning after our current machine had broken a couple nights before. We started at Home Depot and were treated rudely by an associate who clearly didn't want to be there. We then went to Lowe's and not only were we promptly ignored, we were also in price shock. We planned to go to Best Buy next, but I remembered seeing an ad for Manny's recently so I suggested we check them out. They are in the old Gear Works building and we were greeted immediately upon entering. The saleswoman, I wish I got her name, was very helpful and accommodating to all of our questions. We found the washing machine we wanted and decided we could use a dryer as well. Not only did they give us a discount for buying the pair (something the big box stores would not do) they also offered free delivery, install, and takeaway. Manny's got our money in about ten minutes. Not to mention, they had the best prices we had seen that morning. I will be recommending Manny's to anyone who needs a new appliance. read more
