Such a nice surprise to find yummy Cuban food at a random gas station served by a very nice woman. My husband has several of the fried treats and said they were very tasty. I was in the mood for an egg, ham and cheese sandwich on toasted Cuban bread and it was perfect. She said they get their Cuban bread fresh every day and it tasted so good. If you're hungry and in the area worth a visit.

I love running across those inconspicuous, hole-in-the-wall spots. My husband was craving Cuban coffee and happened to find this quaint bakery located inside of a gas station right by Miromar Outlets. When coffee is $7 for a latte these days, this place was so refreshing. We bought two pastries and a cappuccino for under $7! We LOVED the guava cream cheese pastry. It will be my guilty pleasure from here on out. They do have two tables and some barstools along the window but it's such a small place so the seating is limited. Check it out!!

By accident, I found Manolo's Café and Bakery in the Miromar Outlets in Estero. It is located inside a Shell Gas Station convenient store. It has two tables and 8 countertop chairs. However, they do a fair amount of takeout orders. But don't let the gas station fool you! Their coffee, pastries and sandwiches are fresh and delicious. Today, heavy rain hits Southwest Florida during lunch hour. I decided to have a Cuban Sandwich with a large Café Con Leche to wait out the heavy downpour! The friendly lady behind the counter take my order and it was ready shortly. Meanwhile, a second lady was preparing 3 other takeout orders simultaneously! The roasted pork, ham and Swiss cheese with pickle and dressing on Cuban bread was pressed to perfection. The little crusts fall off the Cuban bread and the inside is soft as you bite on the sandwich. The sandwich is huge and can feed two! As I was sipping the Café Con Leche, the pastelitos, croquetas, empanadas and rellena were looking at me with inviting faces! Maybe next time, I can have Guava & Cheese pastelitos! The food is excellent, friendly service and reasonable price at Manolo. What an excellent find in Miromar Outlets!

Can't recommend them enough! The Cuban sandwich, the cream cheese pastry, the cafe con leche, and tamales were amazing and a highlight of our trip!

Amazingly delicious food. Took me forever to find because I didn't realize it was in the gas station. Definitely making a 30 min trip to come back here.

The best little Cuban spot around. Must give it a try. One of the best croquettes I've ever had

My son and I tried the Cuban sandwich and were very pleased. Love the way it's tucked in a gas station.

Manolo's is a gem. Coffee & pastries are similar to the ones you would get at a Cuban "ventanita" in Miami.

As soon as you enter, staff are quick to take care of you and make you feel at home. Our server Rosi made sure we were well taken care of and treated us like family. We started with their Mojito which was beyond fresh tasting and well balanced in flavor. They had cups prepared on the bar counter as it must be a staple item for them. We also ordered the Cuban Sandwich (full order) and a side of Sweet Plantains. The food was made fresh to order and you could tell from the taste. The Cuban is the best I've experienced with fresh bread, quality meat, and good portions of sauce/cheese. The portion as well was a great size or enjoy when hungry or share. The Sweet Plantains came with about 5-6 pieces. Most guests were also ordering a cuban coffee to enjoy. Overall, this was a great lunch spot! If you want to experience authentic cuban food when in the area, Rumba Cuban Cafe will not disappoint! Tip: Check their hours before going. They are open 10am - 3pm weekdays only.

I've been coming here for years, since back when they were in a different location than this one. Almost always get the traditional Cuban sandwich with rice and beans. Pro tip, get some of their house made hot sauce to go with your meal. It's phenomenal. I found out today that they've started bottling their hot sauce, so I had to pick up a couple to bring back home to Chicago with me. Used to live in the Miami area and I've had Cuban sandwiches in tons of different restaurants, but for some reason, this one here at Fernandez rises above all the rest. Lots of other great options on the menu as well in addition to sandwiches. Service is always spot on as well. Highly recommend you check this place out. 5 stars.
