I bought a house that had one of their doors with a number of issues. It is an expensive door that has a ton of issues in less than 5 years from installation. Unfortunately, the company is just avoiding me. I recommend going elsewhere. read more

My experience started in April, after finding this company from the Thermatru doors website. This was after a bad experience with another company in town. Everything was done via phone calls and emails with Ryan Oleary. I was referred to a few installers to get specific measurement. I somewhat expected Mansion Windows and Doors to take care of that; nonetheless we got the appropriate Measurements from one of the people referred to a couple weeks later. Ryan seemed patient with me as I went through the process on deciding what door design etc. All forms signed and scanned back in, check deposit sent and then a long wait. Once they received my door in the warehouse, I received an invoice for final payment, which was a lot more than my initial contract from Heather. It was an error, but I wondered why now heather was my contact.-- maybe just the process. It was corrected, I sent the remaining balance-- they were delayed in confirming receipt. So of course I reached out to them and a different person got back to me. But hey, they responded when prompted. Overall, it was a good experience, but the process could have been better. The door arrived with minimal paint chipped, but thermatru sent touch up paint, because that is expected in shipment. I bought patio doors from them seven years ago. When one door window got broken, It made sense to call them to fix it. It was out of warranty, of course. They said to replace it would take five weeks as it would have to be special ordered, cost $575. April 11, I paid, they ordered it. They required payment in full for the window itself up front. When the window was to be installed, five weeks later, they subbed out the work to installers. I was to pay upfront before installing. The installers were separate from Mansion although Mansion had an ongoing relationship with them . They hired the installers. I did not. I had no choice. The installer was obnoxious, called me on the phone, said they would be out..harrassed me repeatedly about payment up front........called again, on their way, harassed me repeatedly again for payment up front..... repeatedly harassed me again for payment as soon as they drove up..... .............After five weeks, they said that they measured wrong, it didn't fit......... ....Put a sheet of plastic over it, been many weeks. ...The installer did give me back my up front check, then he said to call him directly not through Mansion and he would install it cheaper.........Double pane, only one pane broke, but been living with a sheet of blue plastic over it for weeks now......Called Mansion two weeks ago, they said scheduled for the 18th of August.....not a word......... I'm ready to take legal action with Mansion......and I better not hear "Not our fault the installers are not employees." ...They hired them I didn't .... I will never deal with Mansion windows again. I want to tale legal action. I want to be compensated for the aggravation , the ineptness, and the harassment..... I want to start over with a different company. I do not want that installer on my property again. ..I want my money back and then some! read more

The team demonstrated both diligent and superior effort in meeting our needs, really above and beyond. They are a well integrated team. Hannah made sure all team members had the necessary information in a timely and accurate manner. She responded, even if it was her day off. She went the extra mile to ensure we could schedule a Saturday installtion to minimize disruption to our business and Clients. Jeff did an impeccable job in our pre-installation walk-thru and answered every question we asked. He offered valuable suggestions and provided expert guidance. He deftly accommodated last minute changes with poise and was a great point man to have. The lead installer, Johnny, was so customer-focused and worked to minimize noise and interruption. He kept us informed every step of the way. He even came in on Sunday to provide the finishing touches. It was like magic, as if new windows magically appeared one day, no clean up, no hassle, just a seamless install. We will be returning for doors and additional products. A true please to work with. Andrew and Ben were beyond excellent. There took care of all the minor adjustments, and, on their accord, inspected all the other doors and took care of things that I hadn't picked up. This company is hands down the worst I've ever dealt with. Sold us specialty custom sliding doors in June 2019, and we also contracted with them for installation costing $2,250. When doors arrived, Mansion unexpectedly informed us that we had to have someone build a frame for the doors BEFORE they could install. Although this came as an unpleasant surprise (what was the $2,250 for?), we asked them for a referral to someone who could build this, but they could not! It was like we were the first people ever to buy these doors. Neil, the unhelpful, terribly rude and unprofessional owner, simply gave us a rudimentary hand drawn sketch that was absolutely worthless. It has now been a year, and these doors are still sitting outside our house while we continue searching for someone experienced to build the frame and do the install. Still in shock that a door vendor was unable to either do the total install work themselves or refer us to someone who could. This was truly a first, and I urge people to avoid them at all costs unless you're a carpenter. In any event, be sure to press them on exactly what is included in "installation service" or only buy the most basic product. read more
