I was referred here by my doctor who ordered some X-Rays of my injuries. I was told Manteca Imaging accepts walk-ins. I visited on a Tuesday at 11AM and there were only two other patients waiting in the lobby. The lobby as fairly large with plenty of seating. I visited the front counter and told the receptionist about my referral. After locating my information in their system, she gave me a couple forms to fill out. She was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Once the forms were completed, I waited approximately ten minutes before I was called back by the X-Ray technician. The X-Ray tech was nice, friendly and professional. The X-Rays were completed in about 15 minutes and I was done. A few days later, I called to have my images placed on a DVD for my doctor. The lady on the phone was nice and told me the DVD would be ready the next business day by 8AM. My experience here was pleasant and I would utilize their services again. read more

These people are rude and incompetent! I went there for an MRI and they imaged the WRONG body part! In addition, since my test was with contrast, I needed an IV which they were unable to do. When I left and removed the bandaging from my arm I noticed the two puncture marks where they attempted to start the IV were not anywhere near my veins! When I didn't receive the call to reschedule the contrast portion of my exam as promised I called them. A new date was set but when I tried to confirm what was going to be done, the scheduler would not confirm with me. I later found out that she scheduled an entire new MRI instead of just the contrast portion and didn't tell me. It was shortly after that I was told they imaged the wrong body part therefore, they cancelled my appt.! The only thing good I can say about this facility is thank goodness it's not a surgery center, who knows what I would have left there missing! read more

Awesome staff very nice they were very sympathetic and caring about me going through cancer treatment.

First of all, the receptionist was rude to me. I asked if she could tell me how long of a wait it would be and she actually gave me a dirty look. I think if you've chosen a job that deals with the public then you should always be polite and helpful. Secondly, even though there weren't many people in the waiting room it was an unbearably long wait - over an hour and a half for a lab draw that took five minutes. There's got to be a better way of streamlining their services. All in all, not a good impression of this facility - Manteca Imaging Center. read more

DO NOT HAVE AN MRI HERE!! Our experience with the office staff and MRI staff was exceptional HOWEVER...please ask what you will be billed prior to having services completed at this facility!! The MRI charge for a simple MRI was 7x more than we would've been charged at another facility!! And we have great insurance! read more

Update: Despite my poor experience last time, I returned to this imaging center for a growth scan of my baby since restrictions were in place for all imaging centers and it is located very close to my home. During my growth scan, my technician mentioned my baby was breech still at almost 34 weeks. Upon my visit to my obgyn, her presentation was not mentioned on the report anywhere. Had the technician not told me that, I would have never known. Fast forward and kind of unrelated, but I am two weeks away from due date and my baby still hasn't turned. Thankfully my doctor took me seriously despite the fact that her breech position was not on the final report because now I am scheduled for a c-section to deliver my baby safely. That report could have put my baby and I in a serious medical state especially since I wanted to stay home and labor as long as I possibly could. I without a doubt will not return here again due to this incident. read more

I called 3 times to set up an appointment and was left on hold. The fourth time i was on hold for 28 minutes so I drove to their office while still on hold. Once there I was there I was told by the front desk, I'm new and don't know how to schedule a PET scan. Call tomorrow. 7am the next day I called only to be told the machine broke the previous day and someone was coming out that day. I called again close to closing only to be given a pregnant pause with I dunno. They need to hire some competent people or close there doors. read more

Worst experience coming to this place. Today we had a appointment to do a follow up on how our baby is doing and the ultra sound tech ( KAREN ) was very rude and had a negative attitude the whole time we were there. If we asked her a question her answer would be your doctor will tell you the results. Very RUDE!!! I felt like telling her off !! read more

This is exactly why i love Yelp because sometimes service is THAT good to make a review. I went in earlier for some pre-op blood work and when i tell you the phlebotomist was so NICE AND SO CARING AND FREAKIN awesome, that's actually a understatement. I'm sad that i didn't get her name but she's a bit older (not hecka old) and tall. She made me feel so comfortable, and when she drew my blood I FELT NOTHING! I didn't even feel the needle go in AT ALL. Which is amazing because most phlebotomist can't even find a vein on me: everyone in the office was nice but she was absolutely amazing! I wish i could give more stars!!! I love her! read more

I have pneumonia and was told by my doctor to come straight here for a chest ex ray. The blond lady behind the counter says that she is sorry but there is no one here today to do the image. It says it on the door!! I am sick. Why would an imaging place be open if there is no one there to do the job. Then right back to her phone. Thanks for being so nice and helpful. She said come back after lunch and will take care of you! When I got back she had already prepared my paperwork and was ready to send me back to get my ultrasounds done! My Mother went here for an MRI. They did not give her a call bell. She panicked during the procedure. Nobody came to help her or were paying attention so she crawled out of the machine and fell!. This place is ridiculous. I was sent here after visiting the urgent care clinic to see if I could possibly have pneumonia. I needed a chest X-ray, that's it. I'm called back at first to speak with a woman in financing. I gave her my insurance info and she told me my insurance won't cover the X-ray and my total for this simple, basic chest X-ray is over $1,000. She proceeds to tell me I'm responsible for it all and asked how I will pay for this. I had to put a down payment and would be billed for the rest. Sick, confused and feeling obligated, I went ahead with the X-ray because it was my health I was concerned about. It took less than 5 minutes for the X-ray. You'd think for $1,000 I'd get a DVD of my experience, a radiologist reading my X-ray within a minute and a T-shirt saying I lost all my money getting a chest X-ray at Manteca Imaging Center. However, I walked out empty handed and lost my trip to Comic Con this year. I was also told I would have my results by the end of the day...I guess they lost my results in the big pile of money they must roll around in from over charging for simple X-rays. My guess is that the urgent care gets nice kickbacks from this place for all the referrals. UPDATE: I called the clinic because I didn't hear anything yesterday and they never faxed anything over. Guess marking STAT on the order means nothing to them. Make a mental note of that, doctors. So now I wait...again. Still coughing and sounding like a TB queen but no rush people. The billing is absolutely horrible. On 2 different occasions, I have had to call and tell them I have 2 insurances. I give it to them when I am there! They still can't get it right. Talked to the billing people a few months later for 26 minutes, they said they would fix it. A month later, I get a letter saying final notice and they are going to send me to collections! Absolutely horrible! If you don't want to be sent to collections, because they can't get their billing right, go somewhere else. read more

worst place ever! I will never go back again the X-Ray tech Ellery is so rude. I had to take my daughter in to get some pictures taken of her ankle mind you my daughter is only 7. She told her to turn her foot a certain way and my daughter was trying but couldn't get it right so she rolled her eyes and had a attitude about it. Any time I asked her a question it was like pulling teeth to try to get a nice and simple answer. Then instead of waiting for us to come out of the room with her she just leaves us in there and takes off! I don't understand why people have jobs that they hate! you know what you signed up for and there will be kids that need X-rays done. My Daughter's Pediatrician said she needed a Scoliosis Screening so they sent me here. Checked in and they told me it would be $1,200 for maybe a total of 2 x-rays and that I had to pay the bill, it could not go through my insurance. I called the Doctor and told her I wanted another option. Pediatrician suggested Stockton Imaging so I called them. They quoted me $170.00 over the phone so that's where we went and the insurance paid for it in full. This place should be shut down for FRAUD and taking advantage of people. Disgusting!!! read more

After hurting my ankle recently the doctor at Main Street Urgent Care ordered some x-rays to be done. Since they have no in house x-rays at their facility I was sent here. This is a new facility in Manteca and it is literally around the corner from my house. You can tell it is very new because of how nice everything looks. I am sorry to say my experience did not reflect that however. When I arrived the office was empty which i considered a good thing because I had other things to do and was hoping for an in and out kind of thing. No such luck. I come in and hand the receptionist my referral slip and she looks at it and asks me for insurance card and ID. So far everything is normal. Then she says she has to call the urgent care clinic because there is no diagnostic written on the paper. I told her the doctor did not know exactly what was wrong with my ankle hence why I am there getting x-rays and she told me that she wanted the reason I was being seen for my ankle, like for example ankle pain, I told her that was exactly why I went in there because my ankle was hurting and I could barely walk on it. That was not good enough for her though. I had to wait 15 minutes for her to call the urgent care so they can tell her the same thing. Meanwhile people were coming in at this point and they were getting taken to the back right away even though I had been there before them. I was not happy. I mean seriously why else would I go to an urgent care about my ankle and I thought my reason and word should have been enough. Further more, I have hurt my ankle in the past (it is weak due to a past surgery on it and it has metal in it) and I have been to have it x-rayed and I have never had to wait while they called to see why I went to the doctor in the first place. The girl was polite and apologetic about it after the fact and I am thankful for that but I still think that was ridiculous and unnecessary. I finally got taken into the back and the gentlemen doing the x-ray was very nice, polite and fast. I was done in just a few minutes which is the way it should be. So unnecessary wait aside I had a good experience. It is a really nice place. Hope I don't hurt myself again any time soon and have to go back. Just make sure the reason for your visit is written on your referral sheet or prepare for a wait! I'm sorry but two stars down for that. read more

Terrible customer service! This belong to the nearby Doctor's Hospital. The first time I went here, they charged me a co-pay when there wasn't supposed to be one! When I asked them why, they hemmed and hawed but couldn't explain it. Ask to speak to the manager and you're in for a royal confrontation. On the second time when I needed their services, they again made me jump through hoops. As far as how well they do their job beyond that, I'm not a doctor so I don't know. My preference in the future is to go to Stockton for any diagnostics. read more

I came here for a chest X-ray on a cash pay basis and I walked in thinking it was going to be over $100 but it was only $35. Mind you these places do require a referral or an order from your physicians just like you would need one to go see a specialist. I came here once prior when I had insurance and they went above and beyond..I understand that it is my responsibility to contact my insurance prior to finding out what my copays etc would be but the ladies there were awesome and did all that for me as I waited to be seen. we all know how horrible it is trying to get in contact with insurance companies and waiting to speak with them. I appreciate all their help and this place is great! They will get you in and out for a simple X-ray and try to accommodate your needs as much as possible for other exams that require appointments. All in all this place is great and facility is super clean! read more

If you have any sense of urgency in regards to your health issues, I don't recommend Manteca Imaging in any way, whatsoever! After waiting 4 weeks to finally get in for my Dr requested MRI for an unspecified lump, already nervous and on edge, I showed up to my scheduled appt just to find out they didn't "have my Drs order", (which was a complete lie since I confirmed with my Dr and it was sent.....twice!) didn't have authorization from my insurance, and the best part was all of a sudden, I didn't even have an appt and I was never on the schedule! How convenient..... 4 weeks they had and someone there didn't do there job so they had to cover their ass by saying I didn't have an appt! So unprofessional and clearly not much for giving any concern in patient care! Now I get to start this process all over and wait AGAIN! If your health means anything to you, I recommend you go someplace where patient care is the number one priority, and MANTECA IMAGING IS NOT this place!!! read more
