I was sent here for a critically important CT Scan and MRI Scan. After waiting for weeks, then for results. My surgeon(and 2 other DR's) said the scans were of such terrible quality, they could not use them and I had to do them again out of town, hrs away. This held up extremely critical treatment I needed to start by over a month. My son needed surgery on both of his feet and also went to Modesto radiology. His doctor said the scan was worthless and was so bad it showed 3 feet. He also had to repeat his scans somewhere else. Needless to say this is a absolute joke and totally unacceptable, when people need high quality scans and they need them fast. If you have a serious illness don't accept a referral to Modesto Radiology. read more

Scheduled an appointment for an MRI on a Friday at 415pm. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by an employee behind the counter. After locating my appointment in the scheduling system, I was given two forms to complete. The lobby had a handful of people in it, so it wasn't crowded. There is plenty of seating in the lobby to accommodate patients with a family member or friend. After completing the forms, it only took about ten minutes before I was called in. The MRI tech took me to a men's changing room to change into a medical gown. There were also a set of about six lockers in the changing room that are secured with a key. The tech escorted me to the MRI room and explained everything while setting me up on the MRI machine. The tech who assisted me during this process was friendly and professional. I had a good experience here and I would utilize them again. read more

I have been here for multiple ultrasounds as well as a biopsy. They are super fast, you hardly have to wait and the staff are always friendly. I had a biopsy at UC Davis. It was SUPER painful, the staff was rude and the results were inconclusive because they'd hit a vein so they wanted me to come back a second time....as well as pay the $3000 bill again! I booked here instead and they were fantastic. It was fast and painless. If I remember correctly Brad was the tech. I'd highly recommend him! For the same procedure it was like $3-400 instead of $3000. I will definitely come here for all lab work instead of a hosptial. read more

(It feels wonderful to help honesty... Since then, however, I have frequented this same exact location, & received less than sub-par treatment/care/kindness... What a shame... Now I find myself, seeking other legal avenues for where to take my self-funded, self-insured self that will take care of me, my disabilities & respect my anonymity as this place seems to have failed in doing so miserably... The place is now on E. Coolidge in Modesto. Best experience I've ever had for an appointment! The appointment was for 1:15 and I was told be there at 1. I checked in at 1 and was called at 1:10 and was out at 1:20!! The people at the desk were very friendly and a special shout out to the technician Nolan!! Place was so packed, chest x rays waiting time was 40+ min..... their restroom was out of service and they didn't offer any alternatives for restroom needs. Waiting room chairs are so close together. For the size of this business I was extremely disappointed. read more

The orthopedist I went to see ordered an MRI from Modesto Radiology and faxed the paperwork to them, telling me they would call. I hadn't received a call in 2 or 3 days so I called Modesto Radiology and was told that the Dr's office had written a "R/O" (rule out) diagnosis - not a proper plain diagnosis. I asked them to fax the paperwork back to the orthopedic office for correction. Modesto Radiology said they would call me, which I never received a phone call for 2 days so I called them. When they told me the phone number they had called I told them it was my old cell phone number. I checked with the orthopedist office and they had faxed my current cell phone number to Modesto Radiology, whereupon I figured that Modesto Radiology had not checked the paperwork in detail for current information. I did get a very soon early morning MRI appointment. read more

This place is very efficient. Upon arriving they collect your paperwork, then have you come over to get all your insurance done, then send you where you're supposed to go. I arrived at 11:00 for a 11:30 appointment. After my paperwork was settled I went upstairs to get my procedure. I wasn't upstairs more than 5 minutes before I was called, I was helped by a radiologist named Heidi. She was very matter of fact, very efficient and I was out of there in about 5 minutes. I hadn't ever had a thyroid scan before, so I wasn't sure what to expect but this was very fast and efficient. Nobody had a particularly friendly disposition but nobody was nasty either. Just very matter of fact, get in get done be on your way... And when it comes to getting a test run or a procedure like this, I think that's probably the best way to be. If you have to get a procedure like this done, I'd recommend going here. read more

I posted the full review, here on yelp and left a VM for Julie Green of Modesto Radiology Imaging. She returned my phone call before 10:00 AM on the following day. Immediately, I felt as though she performed a full investigation and was definitely patient-focused. Julie was compassionate, concerned and caring. Medical records are literally a pain to get from private practitioners but hospitals and imaging centers give us our records easily :). Go here if you want ease of access. Update again: Things have gotten better. The wait for an MRI was a bit longer than a regular x-ray but everybody was super nice. UPDATE AGAIN: The receptionist in x-ray on the 2nd floor was so rude to an elderly lady right now. People come in here sick and treating them like that is unacceptable. And when somebody says thank you, say something back! And whatever happened to HIPAA? She's yelling their medical issues for everybody to hear. UPDATE: This time I was in and out in 20 minutes for a neck x-ray. It went super smooth and I appreciate it! I appreciate that somebody from management attempted to contact me to resolve my prior visit as well. ------------------------------------------ Previo Everybody was kind but it took forever. They ask you to get there 30 mins early then make you wait 30 minutes before they call you up to check you in. Another hour and I was called back. This review is for the breast health center at Modesto radiology imaging. The two receptionist, both wear glasses. One has blonde hair and other has brown. They are cold, and unwelcoming My mother doesn't speak English well and I had asked The receptionist "can I go back with my mother" and she said "well.... if there is room back there" and the blonde one made a snide comment under her breath. Unimpressed. Work on your customer service and make your patients feel welcomed and happy as they are about to get breast screening and their whole life could change after that. Also the tech. I didn't see all of them but the one that grabbed my mother, I asked if I could go back, her response? She waves me down telling me to sit. Doesn't even look me in the eye and says "I'll just take her.. it's crowded back their" and slams the door. Horrible customer service. You all need to have an in service on how to greet and talk to the patients and their family members. read more

I had a good experience at this office the receptionist was professional & the ultrasound tech was nice friendly & comforting. Her name was Sarah highly recommend asking for her. My Imagery were done and sent to my doctor less than 24 hours after the test was completed and my doctor had referred me out to a specialist all within a 24 hour spand. read more

I just received a letter saying it has been a year since my last mammogram...well, it will be a lifetime before I go back to this place. I am old enough to have had more than 10 mammograms over the years and I would have to say this place was the worst. I sat an hour and a half past my appointment time and then got called back to sit another 30 mins in a gown. Once called the tech was rude beyond rude. She asked my name and date of birth...once that was confirmed she started yanking and pulling the breast tissue and told me to stand in some very uncomfortable positions and not to breathe...then would come back and pull harder and smash the tissue even more than it had been the first time...I left after a 10 minute wham bam to my breast tissue...I told her to have a good day and I heard her mumble "Yeah, whatever." I got dressed and left...for about 5 weeks I couldn't lift my arms up over my head or lay on my left or right sides. I hurt worse than I ever have before...I had done weight lifting in my youth and I never ever hurt like this. So, long story short...it will be a cold day in...well you get the point. read more

When you change who does your payables/receivables to a collection agency for the interim, you may want them to state the establishment they are collecting for. Statement date of 9/25/19, with a payment made on 10/8/19, would not have alerted me to answering phone calls initiated by you, from people I don't know, and messages that don't identify who they are calling for. Maybe a follow-up statement on where you wanted the payment sent, or who was handling your accounts. You even sent them the payment I sent YOU. read more

I have had multiple MRIs at several different hospitals/imaging centers. My most recent experience was at Modesto Radiology. I was beyond impressed. Their staff in the department is extremely friendly and helpful. They are more efficient and organized than UCSF!!! The procedure took about half the time than previous MRIs because they have a very organized and prioritized way of getting patients prepped. I really appreciated the open MRI machine which was much better for someone like me who is very claustrophobic. I sincerely hope I never have another MRI anywhere else. I've been waiting months to finally consult with a neurosurgeon. I have arthritis in my lower spine. As I went into the office, Dr. Breman? was talking to me about my MRI films (that he went to see in another room... he never got to show me what is on them) He didnt give me any new information, he wasnt able to have a complete conversation. Almost an attitude telling me i dont need surgery because hes the professional... Unfortunately I already knew everything that is going on with myself and i need a solution, all he could do was refer me to another type of doctor. im being tossed around like a hot potato and im not getting any answers. i was in and out of the building in 15 minutes. it was a complete waste of time. My commute to modesto was longer than my appointment time. im very disappointed. Try to teach your doctors that they need to care and have concern for their patient. I know that in the end, all i was to him was a floating check that he could try to hurry out of the building, so he can see his other patients.(checks) read more

WOW, WOW, WONDERFUL!!!!! I had the best very best experience here at Modesto Radiology & Imaging. I was in a week ago for a chest X-ray, and EVERYONE I had the pleasure to meet here were fabulous, attentive, kind and patient. Yesterday, I went back for a CT with contrast, and I was terrified because of a couple of negative reviews regarding some people's negative experiences with the IV, and I'm writing to tell everyone, DON'T WORRY the gal that did my IV was AMAZING!! We were chatting, I was a little worried, and I didn't even feel the needle, NO PINCH- ZERO. YAY. Then, the gal that brought me back to the dressing room, was happy, positive and genuine. I'm sure the ladies at the front dest are overwhelmed with the chaos in the front lobby, it was very crazy in there, but the lady that was my first exposure to the business was very short and slightly rude as if I was bothering her by waiting in line and asking where I needed to be. She said, "Can I help you?", "What insurance do you have?", and "Second floor". After that, the rest of the process was fairly decent. We have had a few X-rays done there and every time, it's pretty much the same, even our more recent experience (two weeks ago). I just called to schedule another procedure and I was disappointed to hear they were scheduling so far out, about three weeks to a month. We weren't able to wait that long. read more

I wanted to update my review from my previous visit. So today I was actually able to go in and get my CT scan done that I needed. After my last review, I spoke to my drs office who let me know that they were in communication with Modesto Radiology and were both working together to get me the scan I needed. My dr also apologized for giving me wrong information, and causing me any trouble. I honestly really appreciated the time that Modesto Radiology took to communicate with my dr instead of keeping me as the middleman. They cleared up the problem amongst themselves, which I feel like is almost unheard of these days. As for my visit today, everyone in the office was super friendly and working hard today. I had the priviledge of processing my payment with the same girl who helped me on the 2nd floor last time I was there. She remembered me, which was nice. Everyone was super friendly, professional and working. It seemed busier this morning than last week, but they always make sure that patients are not standing and waiting in line for a long time. I am hoping that the majority of patients get the quality of service I got today and not what I recieved last week. read more

We showed up late for our appt because stupid me, decided to take Carpenter Rd. Who knew Carpenter Rd would be gridlocked at 8 am? When we arrived here the front desk greeted us with a smile even though we were late. She promptly called radiologist to see if we can still be seen. She agreed to.
