We also had the homemade focaccia with rosemary and sea salt dipped in balsamic vinegar and oil. Last we ate the White Sauced pizza with chicken, garlic and red onions. Fresh baked thin crust with the char. SIMPLY DELICIOUS! There are also cocktails and selection wines. If it is not busy, do an oil tasting. The food is top notch in this very small chain restaurant city. There is nothing like it in Lathrop! Did I mention how cute this place is! The Ambiance is perfect! Thank you, Caroline!!!

I saw a family come in after us and the children were given some seat cushions. I might ask for them next time! My husband ordered a glass of Cabernet and I had the Pinot Grigio. Yelp photos showed a bar with a cocktail menu, but that is no longer available. I should have taken a menu photo because there are no longer entrees, just pizza and a special of the day which was lasagna. We each ordered a side salad, a half hot honey pepperoni and half margarita pizza, and a lasagna. The food was served hot and everything was fresh and tasted good. I felt the lasagna was pricy at $32 for a single portion with three small garlic bread pieces. I would not order it again. It was just okay. We ordered the cheesecake for dessert. It came with a delicious berry topping. It was excellent. The service was excellent. It is a small restaurant, so make a reservation to ensure a table. The menu is limited and there is no longer a full bar. Would we return? I'm not sure. The pizza selection is very small. Not enough choices for me.

Hour of arrival was around 5pm. We were greeted by Natalie and welcome in. We sat at the bar. Shortly after we were greeted by Caroline. We spoke about what brought us here. I explained to her i saw thier Yelp page and a pictures of a pizza caught my eye. She explains in detail of what she is doing with this style of pizza and the ingredients she uses. We were sold. We ordered 3 new haven style pizza or apizza as advertised. We ordered the Mozz , Margherita and one not on the menu Pepperoni hot honey apizza. This is the order she suggested we have them and we complied. I'm no expert of new haven style pizza but I'll watched enough Dave Portnoy to maybe not necessarily be a judge but to recognize what makes a apizza. Let me start by saying these pizzas were delicious. As for the characteristics of a new haven there were some. I'll let you be the judge by the picture or your own experience dinning here. We tried all 3 as they were coming out the oven and also tried them with Caroline customizations. In short they elevated the apizza. She also mentioned she puts some parmigiano reggiano on her pizza and has a big wheel of it in the back which I didn't get the chance to see and take a picture. None the less another thing to like about her pizza.. Natalie crafted some fine spirits for us to accompany our pizzas although I wish they were a bit more unbalanced in a good way but then again the are mixed drink. The ambiance was great with Contemporary jazz playing. I like jazz so it was delightful. If you are at the bar you may need to talk a little louder to your friend. 3 pizzas 5 mixed drinks plus tip $190. I will certainly be back with my wife I think she will like the Alfredo pasta. Caroline signature dish. Heavy cream she says.

My mother in law loved the oldies that were playing in the restaurant, she was dancing in her seat. We met the owner Frank who was super nice. Our waitress was very nice and attentive too and the service was fast. We might make this a yearly tradition to eat here on her birthday, since we live out of town and she lives here. I'm not sure how busy it gets on weekends. The coffee is always fresh, and the menu has all the classic café breakfast options you'd expect. My favorite is the chorizo omelette with a side of strawberries. The omelette is flavorful without being greasy, and the strawberries are always fresh and delicious. The toast is decent, though I think trying a different bread brand could make it even better. The servers are consistently friendly and attentive. Orders come out quickly, and coffee refills are always topped off without having to ask. Overall, Frank's is a great spot for breakfast and definitely worth checking out.

We ordered the Jack Daniel's burger and the Boathouse Club, both with a side of coleslaw. Both dishes were surprisingly good. Coleslaw was fresh, bread was perfectly grilled. Meat was tasty. The burger had a great taste. We got the Salted Crunch Cake. Not my favorite, because I like cakes that are more spongy and one was a bit too dense for me. Service was good - attentive and quick. FOOD: Unfortunately both the Philly cheesesteak and mac n cheese lacked in flavor. For entrees, I recommend ordering the pizza (only available Wed-Sun) and burgers -- they're solid! We enjoyed the Boathouse Nachos and appreciated that the chips came separately from the hot nacho toppings. SERVICE: The service was great, and our waitress even walked out to us in the parking lot with our to-go box after we forgot it inside. So sweet! AMBIANCE: The best time to come here is on a sunny day when you can enjoy the deck and view of the water. There's a park right out front, so it's very family-friendly! We also brought our puppy with us twice and sat outside. PARKING: The parking lot is quite small, so you might have to park in one of the adjacent neighborhoods and walk over on a busier day.

Here's why: The play structures, bathrooms, water play area, picnics and shade are all right next to eachother. As a mom with young kids, I felt comfortable sitting down and watching them run back and forth from water play to the pirate ship, back to the picnic table to grab a snack, ect. The other park in town with a large splash pad area is large enough that I felt the need to follow my kiddos around. The picnic areas here are way nicer because they have good established shade. And, for potty training parents - the bathrooms are literally right there. Across the large flat field (perfect if you want to play soccer) there was adult exercise equipment, basketball courts, and tennis courts. They even had a handicap swing and one of those cool ones for both baby and an older rider, that face eachother. 10/10 reccomend this park! As we got into early afternoon, the park got super busy and there were lots of rough older kids. We decided that the crowd was getting a little too rough for our littles so we decided it was time to go. I would say that if you have toddlers, morning hours are best before it gets super crowded.

It's near an elementary school but not as close with a whole grass field between. The pathway that's between the school and park is wide and shady, filled with places to sit, workout and eat. There is a restroom at the park and on the Slate Street side closer to the school. The water splash pads runs continuously during the day in the summer because the water is recycled and filtered. They have city workers that check up the area regularly. I see them in the mornings when I go for a walk sometimes. They added a new pergola type area next to the tennis courts. More tables to enjoy and a bbq pit I believe The parking is pretty much street parking but it seems that a lot of the visitors are from the area so they most likely walk to it. Ice cream trucks, well vans come by and sometimes the school would invite Kona Ice usually on Wednesdays sometimes. Kona would usually be on the Slate Street side FYI

It's located in an industrial area and I'm so happy my family asked to have Italian for this dinner. Julia was our server and was awesome! I appreciated her patience, suggestions, her attention to detail and sense of humor. Service as a whole was top tier here. We got there just in time before their dinner rush. After we ordered the dining room, bar and patio filled up. I had a Cali Squeeze blood orange brew on tap. It was perfectly chilled and perfect on this hot day. We ordered a meatball sub as an appetizer. Oh my goodness, this a must if you are a meatball fan. It was perfect and marinara didn't give me instant heartburn. For entrées our kids ordered chicken alfredo, hubby ordered their Tuscan Siena special and I had to try their steak sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. My steak sandwich had a lot of meat in it, but it was a little dry for my liking. The bread was dry, no condiments, just some onions. We took the leftovers back to our hotel and I picked the steak out and had it with some mustard as a snack. That was more satisfying. We did help our kids eat their chicken alfredo and I enjoyed it with some extra pepper. Next time I'm in Manteca, I will be back for a meatball sub and their fries. I'm so sad I didn't come back for another one and a cold one before leaving, but we'llbe back. This cozy local gem is family friendly, serve great Italian food and their prices are fair. I highly recommend and I look forward to returning. Thank you Julia for your hospitality and great service.
