A fleamarket treasure trove open all the time! Instead of waiting for the big Alameda and Treasure Island flea markets you can come here, their elevator pitch being "unusual toys and antiques for your mancave or home". We were wandering Niles after the farmers market and its hard to miss this shop, they often display some inventory and interesting items outside. Inside is larger than you think, a sprawl of mainly toys. There are curated display sections where toys are clustered by type and its easy to see but also boxes full of mixed things for those that like digging. It does feel better suited for treasure hunters and those who want to discover something and less for people looking for something specific. My son loved it here and his eyes were popping out of his head, so much cool toys and pop culture stuff it overloads your senses and there are things to see everywhere you look. They also buy/sell/trade so good place to get rid of your old stuff from the garage.

A snippet of one pile of many piles of stacks on stacks of figurines. They have a LOT of stuff!

Hidden treasures galore! I love to browse this store when I'm in the area. Plus it's a great "strolling" street since all the shops are on one side. Any time I'm stumped on a present for the husband, I'll make the trip here and find SOMETHING amazing.

Vintage toys and eclectic items are guaranteed to be found here. The pricing on most items are also reasonable. Last time I brought my partner with me, he was obsessing over the old records they had for sale. He purchased a Batman themed one for only $9.99. Although, there are a lot of items without a price tag. You will have to ask the cashier about this, but the workers are friendly. They are not shy about striking up a conversation with you. The place is also rather messy. Items are laid out everywhere, and you will need to take your time to go through them all. Luckily, most items tend to be bunched together. For example, if you find a pin then it will be grouped together with other pins. Although, plushies and figures were mainly scattered about. Overall, it is always a pleasant experience here. I enjoy collecting figures and pins so this place is a must-stop when in Niles. In comparison to the other antique stores at Niles, this one always stands out to me since it focuses more on toys and other collectible goods. It is a refreshing change of scenery from the usual antique shops that cater to vintage furniture.

As…read moresomeone who values thrifting and supporting nonprofits, I really appreciated being able to give donated items a second life while also finding affordable creative supplies. Lately though, the pricing has increased to the point where it's hard to justify shopping here anymore. A lot of donated items are being priced very close to retail, even when their condition is uncertain. For example, I recently saw a used pack of fabric markers priced at $10 when a brand new set costs $15. With secondhand art supplies, you don't know how much ink is left, whether every color still works, or how old the items are, so pricing them that high makes thrifting here feel less worthwhile. I used to leave with a whole handful of items every visit, but now I'm lucky if I find one or two things reasonably priced. Judging by other reviews, I'm not the only customer noticing this shift. I completely understand this is a nonprofit and that operating costs exist, but part of what made this store special was accessibility and affordability. I'd really love to see pricing become more realistic again, especially for used craft and creative supplies.

I wear layered clothing or leggings and a slim fitting top. The store is well organized and sections are clearly marked. As with many thrift stores there are different colors marked down every day please listen for the announcements or check the board. I would recommend grabbing a cart because last time I went I found quite a bit and was carrying around my treasures. As with thrifting you never know what you are going to discover. The last time I went I came out with two fantastic finds one a H&M black cotton dress suitable for work wear and take you straight into evening or happy hour. The ruffle tiered dress I admit I paid more than I wanted to but Google came to the rescue and I saw several original retail prices and I found it over $ 100.00 brand new so I decided to splurge and purchase the dress. Service I can't comment on because I usually don't ask for help and there is self checkout available. But I don't know if my last encounter with customer service I should be flattered or insulted. I was checking out my items and the lady that was working at the front thought I was stealing my OWN jacket that I came in wearing! I said this jacket is mine check the cameras I was wearing it when I came in here! All in all a great thrift store but give yourself time because there is so much to look at. I find if I give myself time I find more treasures rather than just rushing through. Also, keep your finds close at hand with the case of the orange ruffle dress after people saw me put it on they were asking if I was going to purchase it while I was trying it on! There were people definitely waiting for me to put it down. Good Luck and Happy thrifting

Of course I'm paying attention to the color tag sale of the day, but if it's cute, it's going in the cart. The women's section is great but the men's section is good too. Their racks are packed full. They don't have fitting rooms but there are mirrors if you'd want to pull something over your clothes to try on. What's great is that they also have bathrooms. Very convenient especially when you're shopping a long time. The store also has kids clothes, shoes, small furniture, housewares, toys etc. Did I mention they have a lot of stuff? The store is clean, organized and the employees are friendly. Some items can be pricey, sure, but it's all about rummaging through to find those hidden gems and getting a good deal. I think it's fun. I truly love this place and always come back when I'm in town.
