I've been coming to Pitstop for the last 7 years or so. Every time I'm there I'm greeted with a smile and a genuine sense of care for my vehicle. I have two older vehicles that I have serviced there at Pitstop. And every time I get the vehicle back it's in perfect working order. They work on imports and American vehicles. So far they've been able to meet all the needs of my vehicles from brakes to transmissions to tires, rotation and fix flats. I recommended them to all my friends for any work that they need done. I do not recommend coming to this place I took my car and dropped it off on Friday after the holidays they never specified when the car would be ready and done with diagnostics so I waited a whole day and called on Saturday early morning like 10 they said that it should be done by noon. noon comes and goes and I'm still waiting I wait all the way till Monday then I finally got call from the place telling me I have to pay more for some thing have to change on the car to finish the diagnostic I proceed to ask the lady what happened on Saturday and she said we didn't get no call on sat we didn't tell you none of that we were on holiday so I said okay. i was at work so when I got off I went over there with my friend and she started ask about what's happening with the car and stuff mind you it's hot everywhere so everything is just irritating so when they sit there and don't wanna listen to what you have to say about them not contacting you for 3 days instead they just say take the car and go this is unprofessional and unacceptable I do not recommend coming to this place unless you want to have no communication with what's going on with your car read more

I was a regular customer here until my ac compressor went out. They wanted 750-850 for parts and labor. I found a rebuilt one for 82 online and seen new ones for around 250 online. So they crooks, I am sorry but I call it as I see it wanted $450+ for parts labor and to service the ac. I took the ac compressor next door and they charged me $195 to install and refill the ac. So in totalk i paid $82 and $195 for a grand total of $277. Granted tje part i bought is rebuilt, but still comes with a 6 month warranty. Even if i would have bought a new one it would have cost $450 which is still at least $300 less that taking it here. I've been to quite a few mechanics and I have to say this place, hands down, is one of the best ones I've ever been to. It's kind of hard to find when you're driving, but it's a good little shop. The workers are all friendly, and the girl working the desk calls periodically to update you on your car. The prices are great too! The work was done quickly and efficiently. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a good mechanic. My biggest complaint here is how tiny it is when you're trying to pull in, and the alley when you're leaving! I know it's not a big issue and it's not their fault, but just be careful when going out through the alley. It's very narrow and bumpy. read more

I have a 2005 Ford Expedition and Oscar quoted me the best price to find a used engine and install it. They were very professional and let me know the status when they were working on it. She was great at getting my rim taken care of for my Mercedes and get him being back on the road quickly without hustling me. Wish I could give more stars! My friend and I got a flat on the highway and rolled into a nearby gas station and called AAA. My friend didn't have a spare so we started to call nearby tire shops to see if they had her tire size. One shop told us we wouldn't find the tire anywhere in town but I refused to give up - saw this Yelp page and gave them a call - the nicest woman answered and quickly said they could order the right tire to their shop within 20 mins. We got towed immediately here and everyone greeted us so warmly - they started taking the wheel off immediately, and long story short they had to do two runs to pick up the right tire and stayed patient and more than kind the entire time. Apparently they even convinced a cop car to let them trail him to get through traffic so they could get it for us before the shop closed It's family owned and run and our whole experience with them shifted my outlook on life and work - seriously.
