Best pho I have had in the DMV area. The broth (I got chicken) is flavorful and hearty. I tried both rice noodle and clear (sweet potato) noodle and they were nice and chewy. The proteins are cooked ell and the spicy version of the soup is not too spicy and flavorful. The prices are reasonable with plenty of parking. Not much seating available for food but there are 2 tables inside and outside. Portions are big and it's piping hot. Comes with bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños on the side. You can build your own Bowls as well. They forgot the tripe in one bowl and used beef instead of fish balls, but we still devoured it. The shrimp summer roll is good too. Best vietnamese food in Maryland!! The pho is so goooood! The beef broth is very flavorful. Almost every other pho place around waters down the broth or worse cheats you by skimping on meat; not the case here! Plenty of meat, noodles, and toppings to satiate any bottomless pit. The pork banh mi is a gift to your taste buds. Coming here from NJ/NYC I was shocked so many vietnamese places didn't offer banh mi. When they added it to the menu the food Gods smiled upon us all. Chi Pho...you were my first pho and definitely not my last. I got this with the spicy broth. I love spicy food so for me it's not a burning spicy, more of a compliment to the flavor. Now for everyone else it's gonna taste spicy. I personally love biting into the fresh jalapeños and adding lime. I was pretty excited to see a Vietnamese place with Banh Mi. I haven't seen many in Baltimore. Came after a long hike, was starving. Got pho (#36) and a banh mi with pork. Pho was great - I was very happy. I was a little disappointed with the banh mi. Mainly the bread - excellent banh mi would ideally come on a fresh baguette. This was more like the soft sandwich bread rolls you might eat with a meatball sub. It works, but not what I was hoping for. IMO, baguette-like bread makes it 100% better. You know, bread that makes you work for it. Firm crust and soft on the inside! (I'm also not Vietnamese so I could very well be wrong on what is "normal" - but that's my experience from when I lived on the west coast). Bread aside, banh mi was solid if a little greasy. Didn't skimp on meat! Step the banh mi up a notch and I'll change this to 5 stars. I'm probably pickier than most people though. We've ordered food here (for delivery, via Door Dash) so many times that I can't even remember. The foods always arrive as described on their menu. If you order something and the restaurant ran out of the items, they will call to let you know and sub it for something else. I can appreciate that. Our go-to are the seafood pho, make-your-own pho and banh mi. I've tried both the banh mi by itself or as a platter, and I can't say for sure which one I like better. They're both decent. I've only tried banh mi's with tofu or with fried eggs. Not the best but Decent flavor and satisfy our craving for banh mi most of the time. I also tried ordering a whole pound of fresh fried tofu. Yum yum! Got pork spring rolls and brisket banh mi. The spring rolls were perfectly crispy and the banh mi was a great portion. I got brisket, which I've never had in a banh mi, and I really enjoyed it. It was essentially pho meat in a sandwich (and how could you go wrong?). The food was well prepared and very tasty. I have travelled Vietnam extensively, this is not the best pho in the world... But, it is some of the best pho I've gotten outside out Vietnam. Their popular garlic butter pork chop was very hard and dry, however it was really flavorful. I also got the banh mi dac biet, it was good but not the traditional banh mi flavors I love. I think this place is fine if you're craving Viet food and don't want to drive to Virginia, but there are better places. This was our first time trying Man Vs Pho and it won't be our last! We loved it. The broth was excellent, there was a good amount of tender shrimp and thinly sliced lean beef in a small bag. The vegetables and herbs were abundant and fresh. The service was friendly and fast.
