Spicy Lemongrass Beef Noodle (Bún Bò Huế)
    Huong N.

Took my parents here for lunch and I have to say, the place was completely empty except for one other table. That being said, there was also just one person working but somehow did take a little bit of time to get his attention so we could get our check. The restaurant it fairly large, with an indoor koi pond right when you walk in. Appears they might have some live band at some point because there is a stage area that's set up with instruments and sound equipment. Plenty of tables, booths and bar seating. In regards to the food, they were out of two rice dishes (and of course both were what my dad wanted) so he settled on Broken Rice Grilled Pork Chop (Cơm Tấm Sườn Nướng) which he said was not the best-- meat was dry, rice was not cooked all the way. My mom had Grilled Pork with Vermicelli (Bún Thịt Nướng) and felt the flavor of the pork was good, but overall the fish sauce was too sweet. I tried Spicy Lemongrass Beef Noodle (Bún Bò Huế), which had plenty of meat and noodles with an overall flavorful broth-- it's not the best I've had, but I would have it again in the future.

FOOD- 2 regular eye round steak pho, 1 XL eye round steak pho, 1 order of summer roll (lunch special), and 1 order of egg roll (lunch special) The food was good. 1) the prices have increased 2) the lunch special portion was very small SERVICE- nothing special. Our server wasn't very attentive so I had to call him over when I needed something or to get the bill AMBIANCE- Probably the best thing about this place! Lively atmosphere. They have a big bar and it seems they have live music (not sure what days). Probably wouldn't be my first pho place pick but I wouldn't be opposed to coming here

Alway a dependable place for good food and good service. The pho was perfect as usual and I want to have an IV of the broth, just addictive. We always find this spot to be consistent and dependable.

    Napoleon Sizzling Beef

I had read a review a few months back about their Napoleon Sizzling Beef and thought it sounded interesting and looked good. I mean generally speaking, you can't go wrong with a sunny side egg, beef, and sausage. I couldn't tell what sauce they used. I asked the server and he didn't really say other than there was a marinade. I guess he didn't want to give it away. He did say there was hot sauce which I generally don't like. The dish came with a small baguette and a ramekin of soy sauce. I'm not sure if the soy sauce was supposed to be mixed in. I didn't use it. The portion of the dish was small for $15. Definitely not filling as a meal. Although I will say it was definitely a unique concoction. I think I would have liked it better if they used a different type of marinade. I also ordered the Fried Chicken Wings in Butter Sauce. It took awhile to prepare and came out after the Napoleon Sizzling Beef. The wings were oddly shaped and much smaller compared to the wings I've had at other establishments. I appreciated that they threw in some veggies, but the wings didn't have much flavor. I've had wings in butter sauce at other Vietnamese restaurants that tasted better. I noticed there was an aftertaste too after I was done eating. I had a very early dinner. I got there around 4:20. There was only one other table filled at that time. My server, David, only came by to check on me one time towards the end when I was almost done with my meal. Considering it wasn't busy, he should have come by to check on me while I was eating my sizzling beef to see if I needed anything. I couldn't decide if I liked the decor of the restaurant. If I broke it into separate sections of the room, I did, but collectively it felt like it clashed. Overall, I had a mediocre dining experience. I'm inclined not to return.

    Vietnamese Coffee Martini

COCKTAILS: Vietnamese Coffee Martini - I asked the bartender to make this custom drink and it is amazing. All Vietnamese restaurants should use their Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk to make an elevated espresso martini. It is strong and sweet the perfect combo for a delicious cocktail. We also ordered buttery nipple shots like back in college and it was the perfect sweet ending to our night. FOOD: Ordered the grilled pork banh mi sandwich for $5.95 and the bread was super crusty, great grilled flavor on the pork and crunchy pickled toppings. I loved the jalapenos on the side so I could add a little at a time in case it got too spicy. SERVICE/ATMOSPHERE: A+. They checked on us often throughout our 3 hour experience. On Saturday nights they have karaoke that starts at 10pm and this is my only complaint - it's so loud it hurts my ears. We usually can only scream at each other for about an hour and then we have to leave because I start to lose my voice. I would probably drink until they close if the karaoke wasn't volume 100.

I love it here. I've been here maybe three times. Each time has been an awesome bar experience. I really appreciate the staff for teaching us about pho and the many options. I have definitely tried different types of meat based on their recommendation and have been pleasantly surprised. When you come, order the pho. The staff are excellent and willing to help. I come to watch the football games so drinks are important. The sangrias are awesome. Try them all. Drink them all.

    Combination Pho ABSOLUTELY the BEST!

Came here with a friend after we both were craving Pho on a late night mission and they didn't disappoint! The 1st visit we had a very sweet you g lady(Tam?) who recommended several options that were perfect. There were ample portions and everything just flowed- didn't feel that you were missing anything. She also suggested the BlackBerry Sangria which was a hit as well. This night there wasn't any entertainment but the ambience alone is well worth the visit.

Father day over here for lunch. The food is not that great at all. It was ok. The price is higher than other Vietnam what restaurant. The staff are friendly, this place is small and clean.

Protein portions were tiny, the broth was lacking flavor, and there was only a single host/server in the entire place.

We grabbed a $13 Tri-Merica Burger & Ceasar salad combo special, and a $15 cheesesteak sandwich. With their app membership, we got 10% off the food. I love me a deal :-) They cooked the burger to medium as-requested: Juicy, savory, with American cheese, lettuce, chopped onions, dill pickles, ketchup and mustard. The Caesar Salad was fresh with crunchy lettuce and crunchy croutons. Just right. The Glory Days Cheesesteak is basically a Philly: tender thin grilled steak, grilled onions, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, white American cheese, and an Amarosa bread roll. Great flavor with fresh toppings on a well-stuffed sandwich. It's a nice homey place. We ran into friends we hadnt seen in weeks! It was a pleasant relaxed evening, with good food, cold beer, sports, reasonable prices. (By the way, the street address on Yelp is correct: a strip-mall on US-40 just east of Centennial Lane. It's just about behind the diner. But the Yelp map shows the wrong location as of Jun 2026.)

Across our office, some of the favorites are the buffalo chicken wrap, blackened chicken wrap, and Caesar chicken wrap -- all fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. When the weather is nice, the outdoor seating is also a great bonus. The house-made sauces deserve a special mention too because they really elevate the food and add a lot of flavor. The main area for improvement would be updating the overall atmosphere and style of the restaurant. Some renovations would go a long way, especially in the bathrooms, which could definitely use a refresh. Still, the quality of the food and the excellent service keep us coming back.

My dad had the Fish and Chips w/ Onion rings, no Chips, I had the Irish Stew. Our waitress Mallory was polite and attentive, so kind. She recommended the stew, saying it is delicious, she was right. The flavor of Stout is very aperient, better the the stew at Dubliner in DC. I asked her to tell the Chef, which she did. The fish, was as normal great not greasy or over cooked. The fish was tender, moist, crispy, tasty, and the rings perfect. I do not know the other waitress, or the reason why, people have bad days, 'nuff said. (Apr 2026). We hunted among filled tables until we found a one-seat open high-top and managed to beg another seat from elsewhere. We had a great view of the stage. We ordered beers directly from the bar because our table was sort of improvised. We got a Burger Shark draft, a smooth malty amber ale from Odenton's own Crooked Crab. And a good-old ice-cold bottled Natty Boh lager. The drinks were served right away. And in those few minutes, staff (it looked like a hands-on chip-in manager!) took us on at our invented table, and got our out-of-order food-order to us pretty quickly. We had a piping-hot sweet tender Yuengling-Beer-Battered Cod Sandwich on a brioche-textured bun, with a classic thick-yet-light crispy batter, american cheese, lettuce, and lightly spicy ranch. And a savory Grilled Smoked Portobello on a thick pretzel bun, piled high with roasted red peppers, onions, provolone, and lettuce. Both delicious and inexpensive. The band was lots of fun! Of course we knew every song. The band landed every riff and musical phrase that you know and love, yes they can hit Paul's high notes! And they bring enough original touches to each song to make the music their own. Tonight was their quartet (not their 6-piece band), and each musician had the lead in at least one song. They are loud, filling the room even with all the people soaking up the vibes. I almost didn't mention that Sonoma's keeps a dance-floor open in front of the stage, and we rocked all evening! We had a great boisterous, thirst-quenching, tasty, welcoming evening. I would expect this shopping center to re-grow around this popular long-time restaurant-bar music-venue (since 1996!). TLDR location info next, but it might save you a trip to the wrong shopping center. You'll find Sonoma's in the "Owen Brown Village Shopping Center" on the south arm of Cradlerock Way circle off Broken Land Parkway. This is the Center with the gas station, not the center next door with the big-chain grocery, and not the smaller center with the convenience store around the north arm of Cradlerock. This center is somewhat sleepy these days, so there's plenty of parking. There's more parking in a northeast lot, too. From the main lot, you walk by the nail salon, then turn between the buildings where the Chick 'n Friends chicken-shop used to be. (Best Pressure-fried Chicken and delicious catfish now at a different location!) It's a short walk southeast to Sonoma's on the right, with outdoor tables and a bright blue-and-yellow hard-seltzer ad facing the Lake Eikhorn trail and the back of the grocery. The actual Sonoma's sign above the entrance is subtle compared with the bright window ad.

I waited in line with Child #1 and Child #2 to make our order and fortunately, a staffer saw us looking for a table and waved us over to an area that they were cleaning as another party of three stood up. It's worth noting that while there are a few small 2-top and 4-top tables, most of the space is jam-packed where your table will butt right up against a different party. It adds a bit to the convivial experience, but it does also mean a larger group may have to split up. Got some brunch, and Child #2 got a kids' meal of pancakes with bacon. Seemed pretty standard. I love a good plate of chicken and waffles so I sprang for that. The chicken was decently seasoned but the waffles were underwhelming. Child #1 got The berry cheesecake french toast and loved it. I tasted a bite and it was not bad. There is an area with condiments that customers can just grab (there is no table-side service, so this makes sense), including a place to grab your own water. Child #1 ordered an orange juice, which we both tasted and it was definitely fermented (unpleasant). When I brought it up to the staff behind the counter, it was "oh, that's too bad" with no offer to remedy it. We bought a bottled one from their fridge, which was better. I got a mango peach lemonade, which was sweet but otherwise very nice. Child #2's meal came with a juice box. We were meeting up with my wife just a few minutes later, so I ordered her an iced coffee and a cubano sandwich. To the barista's credit, they said "hey, just wave me down when you're about finished eating and I'll make it fresh for you to go." Nice. The cubano was okay - it came on what seemed like white bread, rather than a sturdier ciabatta or sub roll that can be pressed (like a cubano normally is) so my wife found it to be okay at best. Overall, the experience didn't blow me away, but there were some decent items and clearly folks in the know come here often so maybe we just had a down day. If I come back, I think I'll try any of the Korean fusion dishes (it is in Ellicott City, after all).
