The barbecue area, located on the right side of the entrance, was a highlight. It has a covered spot with seating, a few fire pits where we roasted marshmallows (they even offer small s'mores packets), and a cozy setup for gatherings. There's also a small restaurant with a limited menu, which is a nice option, plus they serve ice cream. However, the tents themselves left a lot to be desired. Most don't have bathrooms, and I had to use the community restroom. While it was reasonably clean and cute, it's still a communal space. The tents are quite small with very little privacy--you can hear people walking by very clearly, and it doesn't feel like real camping or even glamping. What really shocked me was the price. My in-laws stayed in a tent with a bathroom, and it cost around $800 per night, which is absolutely ridiculous. For that price, I'd expect a luxurious hotel, not a cramped tent with limited amenities. If you prioritize comfort like I do, I honestly wouldn't recommend this place. It's far too expensive for what's offered, and I don't think it's worth the cost. It's a nice spot for a barbecue or a day outing, but not for an overnight stay.

The one thing I'll say is we weren't made aware their road up to the tents was one way, we didn't see any signs either, and when we were driving down to check out one of the employees stopped us & told us, whoops! We loved this place, we'd love to be back with our son and will definitely check out other Under Canvas locations.

The campground can get a bit busy during the day as people accidentally pull in looking for parking to do the easy cedars trail which is right next to the campground. It's pretty quiet at night. The only things I have some concern about is all of the children that are little and unwatched and zooming around while cars are driving. I know that is not this places fault but if you bring little children you should definitely watch them. Also, quiet time is at 10:00; the kids are still out running and screaming at that time. I feel like more of the parent supervision should be emphasized more but otherwise great place! I had no idea what to expect, so I trusted the online reputation. Unfortunately, this experience was incredibly disappointing and frustrating from the moment I arrived. I made my reservation early in the day and spoke to someone on the phone who told me I could stop by the office when I got there to finalize check-in and get my welcome packet. At no point did anyone mention that absolutely no check-in is allowed after 9 PM. I also received an email and completed mobile check-in, which made it even more confusing -- I had my site number and everything paid for, so I assumed I was good to go. I arrived just after 9 PM. The office hours on the door said they were open until 9, and the email clearly stated that packets for late arrivals would be left outside. There was no packet. I called the "24-hour number," and the woman who answered was shockingly rude. She told me, bluntly, "We don't allow check-ins after 9," and when I explained that no one had told me this and I'd already paid, she basically said, "I don't know what to tell you," refused to help, and hung up on me. I had just driven two long days, and all I wanted was the shower code -- which she also refused to give me. To make things worse, the site I booked (in the G lot) was impossible to get into with my fifth wheel. So even if I had been allowed to check in, I couldn't have parked there anyway. Overall, I spent $140 on a spot I couldn't access, got no help from staff, and was treated incredibly rudely. If you're planning to stay here, make sure you understand every single rule ahead of time -- because if there's any issue, don't expect kindness or support from the staff. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning.

Later in the season, we enjoyed playing in and on the gorgeous river flowing alongside the campground. The grass and grounds are very well kept, and the staff are attentive and kind. It feels like a family! Bathrooms are immaculate with cute touches like live flowers and baskets with toiletries. Huge park area for kids to play and dogs to run around in. Nice new playground. Fun cornhole and outside checkers and horseshoes. Overall, one of our favorite places to camp. And don't forget about the hot air balloons that frequently take off right from the park around sunset- what a unique and unforgettable experience!!

We literally lived on the porches enjoying the morning weather, hummingbirds feeding and incoming changing weather patterns across the sprawling pasture. While some may feel the rare vehicle passing on the nearby gravel road is a negative however, we took pleasure in waving to the campers on Spotted Bear Rd. Chilly evenings were quickly remedied with a roaring fire in the antique fireplace. THE place to unwind after a busy day exploring Glacier!

Take advantage and "disconnect" from your electronic world. The restaurant had some really good menu items. I chose the bison meatball sub (came with a side salad). Very tasty!! If you're looking for convenience, this place is the perfect location to get to the trails. You're RIGHT THERE! I would definitely stay here again, but longer next time.
