Considering that due to nationwide shortage you can't always get your medication this place is always on top of their ordering. Front store might get a bit busy but they do have a self checkout lines so no reason if your are over a certain age to stand in line and complain. Be thankful and kind to your pharmacy staff they are still your front line workers and they did work when many of us was sitting at home.

We were here about a month ago (with an appointment ) for our fall flu shots and our visit was the same, in and out quickly with a different pharmacist.

(the one on Maple/Farmington is also pretty close, but I hate the roundabout and also making a left-hand turn into it ...) This is a pretty solid CVS, although the Clawson one was great so they had big shoes to fill. I am in their ExtraCare+ program, or whatever it's called now (I get $10 per month to spend at CVS, and in exchange I pay $4 per month, and also get free pharmacy deliveries). Despite that, I have been to their pharmacy a few times, and sometimes the line can get long, but usually it goes fast. The front-desk associates are always very nice, too, and I've placed a few photo orders here too. I would recommend this location overall, and it's convenient that it's a five-minute drive from me.

I told her that I would bypass my insurance and pay cash like I have been doing for the last 15 weeks and she stated that it was a violation of CVS policy to allow me to pay cash and bypass insurance. I explained that it was my legal right to pay cash for my medication and not my insurance and she stated that CVS policy supersedes Federal law. I recorded the conversation. I have called CVS customer service and the executive pharmacist. Steven returned my call and said they were going to escalate it. I will be without medication starting tomorrow. I will no longer use this Pharmacy. I will find a mom and Pop local pharmacy and start using them for my medication. When a pharmacist tells you that policy supersedes law, there is a legal issue. According to the law, I can pay cash for my prescriptions.
