(the one on Maple/Farmington is also pretty close, but I hate the roundabout and also making a left-hand turn into it ...) This is a pretty solid CVS, although the Clawson one was great so they had big shoes to fill. I am in their ExtraCare+ program, or whatever it's called now (I get $10 per month to spend at CVS, and in exchange I pay $4 per month, and also get free pharmacy deliveries). Despite that, I have been to their pharmacy a few times, and sometimes the line can get long, but usually it goes fast. The front-desk associates are always very nice, too, and I've placed a few photo orders here too. I would recommend this location overall, and it's convenient that it's a five-minute drive from me.

No follow through when they say they will do something like calling a doctor to check on status. If Walgreens corporate actually cared about their patients, they would take this Novi location and took a real close look at the lack of work going on. Most of the employees seem irritated with their job. I honestly can't say enough bad things about this location.

The Pharmacy Manager Samah is wonderful and always takes care of any problems you have. Considering that due to nationwide shortage you can't always get your medication this place is always on top of their ordering. Front store might get a bit busy but they do have a self checkout lines so no reason if your are over a certain age to stand in line and complain. Be thankful and kind to your pharmacy staff they are still your front line workers and they did work when many of us was sitting at home.

It might be because I get so many prescriptions that have to be filled, but even a few of the people behind the counter knows my name. If they don't have one of my too many prescriptions in stock, they quickly order it. While I hate the fact that if you don't pick the refill up on the day it is done you get too many text reminders and a phone call, it is not the store's fault. I also don't like having refills auto filled but that is the name of the game with most chain pharmacies these days. Only wish that they had a drive thru and be open 24 hrs. 365 days a week but I know they won't. Just got spoiled by one of those in the Walgreens chain when I lived in Monroe. ( See it was only EBS that got me this spoiled) Will use this location as long as I am in Farmington.

There could be four Pharmacist and each one will give you a different answer as to when you can have it filled. It is the most ridiculous place. It's all subjective. They have no consistent protocols. It is absolutely pathetic and if you need to call in to have your prescriptions ready the same Dane rather than their default pick up of three days later, you wait 45 minutes to talk to someone. 45 minutes consistently horrible horrible horrible place. My insurance only allows for this store.

He then proceeded to tell me the other pharmacies were lying to me and that they all do have the medication in stock but for some reason won't fill it for me anyway. I'm familiar with the laws for controlled substances, and I know the pharmacist at Medindex is the one who was lying to me. I also know about the national shortage of ADHD meds because it has made the news. I don't understand why I was treated this way. They filled filled the prescription, but told me not to come back. Not that I would given how rudely I was treated.
