Tasty Bakery Cafe in Kennesaw was my first experience with a Brazilian bakery, so wasn't sure what to expect. Rather than a hole in the wall type of place that I envisioned, I was pleasantly surprised with bright and spacious interiors and modern design, and plenty of seating. They offer not only bakery items, but hot food, drinks and groceries as well. As we had already had breakfast, we went with lattes and slice of coconut cake for dine in. The latte was really underwhelming for a caffeinated drink and below average, but since it is a bakery, I won't fault them too much for it. The coconut cake was absolutely delicious and flavorful, bringing just the right amount of sweetness without being too sugary. The coconut was perfect along with the moist cake...you can tell it was fresh. We also picked up passion fruit cake and pao de queijo cheese bread for a Brazilian friend, and she commented both were great. Service was very friendly, and the Brazilian lady working there appreciated me saying "obrigado" (thank you in Portuguese). Overall, I'd skip on the drinks next time, but wouldn't hesitate to return to Tasty Bakery Cafe to indulge in their baked goods offerings.

Definitely a thumbs up if you are looking for some creamy and super sweet cakes and pastries. They have got the mousse, the rolls, the buns and the cake slices. Have been here before and tried out their cake slices and mousse. Was really excited to visit this place again especially to take my friends along to try their delicacies before hot weather kicks in. Being a South American based bakery (their tagline reads Brazil) I expected them to be hard on coffee or cocoa. The chocolate mousse I tried last time was super cocoa-ic meaning tasted more like dark chocolate but this time after 2 years, i was in for a surprise. Yes we had the cake slice of White Chocolate truffle cake with ladyfingers, TresLeches cake slice and a cup of Tiramisu mousse cake. The white chocolate truffle and the TresLeches were pretty similar as the White chocolate truffle had TresLeches sauce on it. The White Chocolate truffle cake looked amazing and the creamy TresLeches slice was so good and appetizing. The sweet was abundant and I really loved it! The ladyfingers on the White chocolate truffle cake was okayish. Given a chance, just have one finger. The cakes were spongy and it's totally worth the money compared to many bakeries in the metro Atlanta region. The cup of Tiramisu was the surprise factor. Normally in any Italian restaurant/ bakery the Tiramisu is supposed to be of dominant coffee dusting and layers of sponge cake and cream. Here I felt the coffee very very lightly and it was more of a chocolate-vanilla cream mousse. But I just loved it. With some chocolate slices on the top with a thin mascarpone layer, it was just perfect for me. But did it qualify as a Tiramisu? No to me. Did it qualify as a very tasty random Choco-cream mousse? Yes! So if this is their way of doing Tiramisu, so be it and I would encourage you to try it. The place is less crowded most of the times and the people there are very friendly and helpful in making us choose the best ones. The ambience is good and it's well lit. Few tables outside as well for a good spring/ summer evening visit. They have their own section of other pastries and breakfast items. Recommend to check out their menu. BOTTOMLINE: Worth the money tasty and creamy cakes with a very unique taste of already established items! A must visit if you are a cake lover just like me. MY PICKS FOR YOU: TresLeches (any day) cake slice, Tiramisu Mousse.

We tried Tasty Bakery Cafe tonight for dinner. There were several unique options. We split a corn and cheese rissole - it was very good! I got the cheeseburger with fries. My husband got the chicken pastel. We both enjoyed our food. While the burger was not the best I've ever had, it had a good flavor. The fries were delicious. The pastel had a lot of extra pastry to it. We did splurge and try a piece of the peanut butter cake - definitely worth it! Overall, we had an enjoyable experience at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere was relaxed and we had fun sitting and chatting with our friends.

I had Omelette. But it looks like one microwaved. It was disappointing. The service was good. Very nice. Good bakery ambience. I didn't try bakery. But, I wouldn't come back for a breakfast.

Suca Verde.... Very refreshing and tasty.

Great Coffee! Love the chicken croquettes (at breakfast, lunch or dinner time-lol) Yummy green juice (Suco Verde) Tried the beef patty today and while it was beautiful, moist pastry the ground meat was lacking flavor. l'll try the other versions NW t time. They also have breakfast items, a bean soup and chicken soup that I plan to try Customer service is always wonderful- staff is very nice and welcoming. If you haven't been you should check them out!

We're getting our Subaru serviced and took a walk to the shopping center across the street. My husband, Dave suggested this cafe and I'm so happy he did! I had two cheesey delights: cheese roll and cheese and corn pastry. Both were not things I've tried before but they are both things I'd have again!! The cheese roll was so different and so great. It mozzarella cheese melted in a tasty sweet bread and covered in sweetened condensed milk and topped with coconut. How weird, right? But so incredibly delicious too. I loved the corn and cheese pastry too. The crust was perfectly flaky and inside was yummy corn and melted cheese. But the star of the show was the Tasty Max burger. It had beef, ham, bacon, corn, egg, potato straws. And the bun is homemade here at the bakery!! He loved this burger and it looked ridiculously good. The service was friendly and helpful and I just love this place. The more places I attend in Georgia, the harder it's going to be to leave!! Don't take my word for it, come by and "tasty" for yourself.

Everything was delicious as expected and I'm just happy I don't have to drive to Marietta for some great Brazilian food!

    So good.

We are very happy we gave it a shot. The fried chicken biscuit was phenomenal. We got the Hot Honey Garlic Sauce on the side so I could dip the sandwich. The sauce was hot (spicy flavor) so I was glad I could control the portion & alternate the savory fried chicken and biscuit taste without the added heat from the sauce. The wait on a rainy Saturday morning was reasonable considering there were quite a few other first timers in attendance. We could overhear other couples/families telling waitresses & hosts about the video. We also had the Smokey Scramble (with chicken) and a single buttermilk pancake - all of it delicious. Our waitress apologized for the wait & let us know the kitchen was busy but when the food came it would be worth it - and it absolutely was. We look forward to visiting the Crooked Tree Cafe again

The food was edible but the entire experience from being seated to interacting with our server to…read morethe flow of the restaurant to paying the bill was not pleasant. And, $50 later I am scratching my head why didn't we pay half that nearby at place that specializes in waffles... We entered the restaurant and there was seating near what we thought was the hostess stand while you waited for the table. We spoke to the person at the stand and she said "you'll have to wait, I am in training". Well, turns out that wasn't the check in space because we should have spoken to that person who was waving an iPad and not very happy. As we navigated the narrow spot away from the waiting area, there were people coming in the front door waiting to get a table, pick up drivers trying to get to the stand, people looking for their friends already seated and the waiting people. This giant clump of people stepping on each other. I just think there must have been several meetings about the layout of the concept restaurant by people who have degrees in planning and design but no one took notes. I could include more about the lack of thoughtful architecture that would include the kitchen, the POS machine near a refill station, and the bathrooms but I will move on. Our server was not existent and just a slight step up on pleasant than the woman with the iPad. I requested that my entree items be served separately and while it did come out of the kitchen that way, her grimace and body language indicated it was the most difficult request that could be made. This was my first and last time trying to First Watch. It was an unpleasant experience. Topped off by the server leaving the bill BUT in order to pay, one must navigate the cluster of humanity at the front door. Who thought of that disaster of a system?

It was early about 9:45 and maybe I was impatient but, what happened after entering went downhill. After asking should we seat ourselves, the cashier came over and helped us to a table. The gentleman who entered after us also sat himself after waiting as well. Once seated, I figured out why there was no one to seat us. Everyone else was having their breakfast. So when our server came over, she was wiping her breakfast crumbs from her mouth, in my head, "Ok now", your hands are nasty. Next, the server, addressed me as sir. Once, I gave her a death look, she realized her huge error. She apologized but she added,"It's just a habit." Huh? What? I felt, had she arrived, inteteacted with her guests and maybe said, "Good morning friend", she would have realized I was a woman. Then she took it upon herself to bend down and hug me as if she knew me and I was not longer her customer. What the _ _ ? Now more apologies as I looked at my CNA and said, "Now she's touching me." Another apology and then my order is taken. I Am So Annoyed. I told my nurse,"Let's Leave." What can be done better the next time, "GREET THE CUSTOMER. MAKE EYE CONTACT." Attention!! You know, eye contact We Left and went to another location because I wanted that waffle. Checkout; Cherokee Kennesaw location review.

They have fresh squeezed juice that is a must try when you go. I received great service from the employees at this location. The establishment is very clean and seems to pass majority, if not, all health and safety requirements. The restaurant is in a plaza, so, there is plenty of parking that is convenient for you. I believe the hours are only until 2pm, and, they tend to bring in a large crowd. Therefore, I advise planning on getting here no later than 12:30, so you have an ample amount of time to be seated and enjoy your food Speaking of food, I would say, for the most part, our dishes were delicious. As I said, the food is fresh so you walk away not feeling overstuffed if you wish to indulge in a lot of food (which I recommend ) The only feedback I have is the Carne Asada tacos lacked a little flavor. Not the entire taco as a whole, but the meat itself- I was able to tell when I tried this dish. I am, shower, very particular with my Carne Asada you have to put the perfect amount of seasoning and the right kind of seasoning along with cooking it a certain way to get a good asada. My favorite course, was the bacon, along with the farmhouse bowl. It was the perfect blend of meat, potato, herbs, & fresh eggs. I added arugula to throw on some extra veggies to my dish and it definitely enhanced it in the best way Overall, First Watch is a staple and I highly recommend you take a visit!
