Extremely disappointing experience We drove about 20 minutes after finding this store on Yelp, hoping to have a pleasant shopping experience at Muqbool Islamic Clothing. My daughter and son came with me, and when we entered the store, we were simply looking around and browsing. Unfortunately, the owner's behavior toward my children was extremely upsetting. First, he became upset with my daughter for looking at an abaya. Just a few seconds later, he became upset with my son and told him, "This is not a playground. Stay with your mom." My children were not causing any trouble--we had just walked in and were looking around. The way we were spoken to felt unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. I have never experienced this kind of treatment at an Islamic clothing store before. We drove 20 minutes specifically to shop here, and unfortunately, we left feeling very disappointed and uncomfortable. Customer service and kindness matter, especially when children are involved. Based on this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this store. read more

The owner of the store treated me in a way that was worse than I have ever been treated by any other person in a work or commercial setting. Maybe it was because the other customers had left and he felt there was no one watching over him. He for some strange reason thought I was mocking him. I asked him the price of a nice article of clothing, and I said that I'll buy it after I get my paycheck (joking at myself really). When I proceeded to ask him the price of one of the perfumes, he demanded I leave, and started to yell at me and berate me. I was disturbed, and demanded I be treated better, at the least for the honor of my being a fellow Muslim (let alone a human being). Apparently I am not the only one to have been treated rudely by this man, when I discussed the incident with a local friend. He actually said many people have had bad experiences with the man, and suggested that the store is a front for something else. I sincerely ask the reader to avoid this place and this man. He has no right to harm the honor of another human being, let alone a Muslim who did nothing wrong. I haven't been to this area since, actually. read more

He went above and beyond to help me find the right sizes and lengths I was looking for. The green abaya I purchased, along with the pink 3 piece jilbab, hijab caps, and hijab, all of them were of fantastic breathable material. It was so nice to be able to try them on in the fitting room before I purchased them. The price point was great, too! I purchased two additional abaya for my friends to wear for Taraweeh at the masjid Insha'Alla. The Ajee/Man there was very respectful and cooperative with what we wanted, and helped us throughout the process of looking for the sizes we'd like and the style of clothing. They have Daffa thobes which is the best quality and popular thobes worn in Saudi. Besides clothing, they have a nice set of islamic books too for learning, including how to pray books for children or beginners. There's also very nice madinah style kuffis there and Waterproof Seal Skins socks! There's an actual display inside the store that shows you how these socks work. They are perfect for busy people going to school or work. There are halal marshmallow rice krispies and halal beef jerky available in the store if you are looking for a snack. The store owners are VERY friendly and nice people! The store itself looks very clean, nice and presentable.
