Went here on the recommendation of a cozumel fb post. Only one there but the staff was very accommodating with the fans and their attention. I ordered the fish fajitas upon their suggestion. It was a great pick. Fresh tortillas, fresh guacamole, fresh pico de Gallo and perfectly cooked fish with onion and peppers. There was way more food than one person could eat! My sister asked the Chef what he recommended. He asked her what do you like She said everything except mushrooms. She tells him surprise me. We just love this place. They are so incredibly friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. They always have a warm welcoming smile. Bonus is that they include free Wi-Fi which is rare on the island. There's also a gentleman who takes your picture and gives you a nice souvenir before you leave at no cost. They just want to thank you for coming. We will always come here when we visit the island of Cozumel. It's our new favorite place here. I am updating this review. We have gone back to this restaurant several times since and every single time the food is amazing, the service super friendly and we always leave with a smile. I wish they had this restaurant back home. EXCELLENTE! read more

The name prevented us from stopping in sooner, despite being right next door to our hotel. I wish it wouldn't have, as when we finally did stop for drinks and a late night snack, everything tasted great and the bill was surprisingly small. My mango daiquiri was made from real mango and the chicken soup was so good, I'll remember it for a long time to come. So, we've been here in Cozumel since March 7, and we've eaten and drank here damn near every night at some point because it's convenient to our hotel. Frankly, the food is really good! No problems there. Our problem started yesterday. Over the course of the evening my wife and I ordered one of their liter sized beers, served in a big glass mug. Wife orders another one then takes it to our room. Waiter brings the check when I ask....said check comes to $485-Pesos ($24/US) for three damn beers! We've sat there and drank six total between the two of us for less than $500-Pesos. I ask the waiter/manager to explain and the best that I can decipher is that they were charging my for the mug my wife left with. We tried to settle that out this evening, but to no avail. Too bad...good food and usually good service, but that was a bad move on their part in these now trying "Coronavirus times." Our business will go elsewhere!! read more

I'll start off by saying the waiter was friendly. Also this review is based on a vegan meal. We had the veggie fajitas, tortillas weren't handmade and they weren't grilled just lightly steamed, not what we were hoping for. The bean salad was pretty good. Great place right on the beaten path to grab a cold beer and a snack. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is very tourist-centric. I'm pretty sure everyone that comes here is on vacation, so the tourist centric feel definitely works. We sat outside, enjoyed the scenery, the people watching, and the free wifi. The prices seemed very reasonable. If you hop off a cruise ship and want a place to stretch your legs and plan your day, or just plan to do nothing, I think this is a perfect spot. read more

Again, another mediocre Mexican restaurant in Mexico. The food wasn't bad, but I expected better. I get the impression since these places are in the heart of tourist central that they don't have to try very hard to provide a quality meal. They get several thousand potential customers served up to them by the cruise companies daily. It's really disappointing that I can get better Mexican food in mid-America than I can in downtown San Miguel. read more

Nice little spot, friendly staff, authentic Mexican food. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. I enjoyed my visit and returned the next day for some food to go. Stopped in for a quick taco and a drink with the family after a day on the water. The service was super slow- it took over an hour for our food to get to the table. This place was an absolute blast and we are so so glad we found it. The staff works HARD and makes you feel like family. They gave us free margaritas with our guacamole which was FRESH and delicious. We only ordered apps, like nachos and fried quesadillas but everything we had was delicious. All together our table had 5 free margaritas, 4 large (bowl sized) margaritas, 2 baskets of chips and habanero salsa, 2 orders of super fresh guacamole that came with its own chips, 2 fried chicken quesadillas with Oaxaca cheese, 2 orders of nachos, and they gave us shots of tequila (poured into our mouths Hibachi restaurant style). Not only was the food and drink excellent, the restaurant is open air to the street, lively, and very clean. They even use bagged iced behind the bar for any of you who may be worried about the water. Our waiter even brought over two street mariachi bands who played us multiple songs the we requested! We never received a bill but our waiter asked us for around $80USD. We left him $100 and called it a day. This was by far one of our most exciting and entertaining experiences in Mexico and my only wish is that they had t shirts for us to buy! One staff member offered to sell us his extra shirt but he forgot it at home. Don't skip this place, it's a really good time! read more

We had such an amazing experience here. We were stopped in Cozumel on a cruise and the weather was kind of rainy and gross so we stopped during a particular shower for a margarita and a snack at Mar y Juana. The staff was beyond accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, etc. They made us feel like we were at a local place at home. The drinks were amazing and so was the guacamole. We were taking a picture before we left and literally every single employee working at the restaurant at the time dropped what they were doing to get in our picture. This is exactly what I wanted in a Mexican restaurant when I stepped off of my cruise ship at Puerto Langosta. The ceviche was amazing. The guacamole, enchiladas and fish tacos were amazing as well. It is right on the ocean with the breeze keeping you comfortable. It's only a few blocks away from the port and is definitely worth the short walk. read more

Don't be faked out by the corny Rasta vibe. Good ceviche -- the fish is grouper -- somewhat over salted. The margaritas the best so far (outside of Bar Rana in Playa). And is there anyplace that doesn't serve the totopos half burnt? But all in all a good value, right on the malecon where you will watch the world walk by the blue Caribbean -- comer con gusto! read more
