I was in the mood for an açaí bowl and decided to give this place a try based on the good reviews and closeness to home. The inside looked very clean and there are tables to dine if you wish. I got take out this time. The owner was working and greeted me warmly and offered to explain the menu. I decided on a build your own bowl and he guided me through the process every step of the way along with noting any additional costs with my selections. I decided on a 50/50 ratio of açaí and blue majik base with granola, coconut flakes, pumpkin seeds, strawberry, banana, and blueberry toppings with a fresh made peanut butter drizzle. Have to say that this was a very good bowl. So fresh and packed with ingredients. The owner was experimenting with fresh pressed juices as they are not normally part of the menu. He gave me a sample and it too was very fresh and delicious! Juices are now on their menu! Highly recommend this spot if you want friendly service , tasty food, and fresh ingredients! read more

Been a loyal customer since the very beginning and still infatuated with the concept and the taste obviously. Tonight my husband and I entered the shop and met with the garrulous employee, Gabby. We ordered the Dinghy 12oz Anchor Bowl which was packed with acai, granola, banana, coconut flakes, cashews and cacao butter at 492 calories. The sweet masterpiece was being prepared before my eyes as the chef slowly laid slices of fresh banana over the top of the acai and then the sprinkle of fresh coconut flakes. My husband was excessively drooling. Gabby gave us a side car of a chunk of fresh peanut butter from their peanut grinding machine - cant get any fresher than this. They offer fresh ground peanuts and almond butter cups for $5.00. In about five minutes the creation was in my hands and on my way home to enjoy my dessert that I split with my husband. OMG, one big spoonful and it was an explosion of many different flavors blended perfectly around the frozen purple acai. I highly recommend this acai shop for dessert or as a food supplement. My puppy went nuts for the fresh peanut butter and the staff was friendly too. Strong five star rating. read more

Came in again this morning after a small breakfast and brought a buddy to try the Nautical Bowls. We purchased an acai with a coconut base. We met with the employees Belen and Kailyn who were energetic and were soft marketing their produxts and provided us a taste of a few items. My buddy immediately purchased the pure peanut butter cup for $5.00 and joined the online Nautical Bowls Club. I'm one point away from a Free Nautical Bowl. This is the third time I've eaten here and continue to love everything about this place: the food, the wonderful service and the peaceful ambience. We love acai bowls and not only are these bowls made with the best fruits, but you can choose the size of your bowl as well. We stopped by the other night and were warmly greeted by the owner, who proceeded to review the large menu (and unofficial menu!) with us before we ordered and helped us make modifications to our tasting! We appreciated the warm touch points and of course enjoyed the delicious acai bowl. You can never go wrong with an acai bowl-healthy and delicious! Nautical bowls takes your average bowl place to the next level, with probably the biggest base variety I've ever seen beyond the normal acai and pitaya. I love that you can also layer different bases, which is helpful for indecisive people like me who want to try everything. They do a great job with the nautical theme throughout, and they have a jar of conversation starter questions on each table, which is really cool and encourages people to interact. My one complaint is the nickel-and-dining. They charged us $1 to substitute banana instead of mango in the bowl I ordered. I wasn't trying to get extra of something, just to substitute. And I was actually asking for a fruit that's usually cheaper so it didn't really make sense. It's already pretty expensive too. read more

Came here on our way to the Sawgrass mall looking for a treat. They have a great menu with tons of healthy options and the owner even talked us through the various bases and ingredients. We got a Sail bowl and shared it between me, my wife, and three year old son. We all really enjoyed it and didn't feel guilty for eating pure sugary sweets. The owner let my son sample a few of their ingredients which was a really nice gesture. We will definitely be back to try more things on the menu and definitely wish this business well.
