This is my daughter's favorite boba spot. They are located right next to Dunkin in the Cooper City Plaza. The owners, Yang & Jade are so sweet and personable. They are friendly to everyone that walks through the door. You can tell everyone loves coming here too. The hospitality is wonderful. We come here often enough that Yang & Jade recognize us and are always extra nice. They're pretty awesome! My go to drink is usually the passionfruit green tea with no sugar and add coconut jelly. Sometimes I get boba, sometimes I don't. Depends on the day. My kids like the mango smoothies, brown sugar milk tea and the taro milk tea. The space is very clean and simple. You can see the neon boba sign from the street. It's such a cute sign. They also sell Hi-Chew candy, which my kids also love. Decided to check this place out. I got a basic black milk tea. Unfortunately, didn't cut it for me. The tapioca pearls elasticity(q) was off. Unclear if old, overcooked, or other. We were offered to sample teas and the teas themselves were good. Particularly, the fruit teas were quite unique. One more issue I had was with the cup lid having multiple openings. If I'm feeling a smoothie-style drink I get the Pink Sand, the Exotic Punch "infused soda" is loaded with tropical flavors & their Black Tea is one of the best tasting around. They offer tons of other drink varieties so it's worth looking at the menu to see what catches your eye. On top of serving consistent drinks, their staff is always a pleasure to interact with. No matter who's working, the person behind the counter has a great attitude & makes you feel like your business is appreciated. Service alone deserves a 5/5! I first tasted the boba tea from Leaf House at the Dim Sum Brunch With Friends at Temple Street Eatery where Leaf House served an oolong milk tea with tapioca boba and a lychee green tea with strawberry popping boba. At the event the owner of Leaf House told us how he founded his business on the desire to bring traditional Chinese boba to South Florida. He uses premium ingredients and fresh brewed tea so you can taste the difference that quality makes in the drinks. I could not stop thinking about their lychee tea so when I found myself in the Cooper City area a day later I had to stop. Leaf House is located in a strip mall off of Sheridan Street. The inside is very clean and bright and the staff is welcoming. The menu features bubble tea, matcha, cheese foam tea, fruit tea, smoothies, infused sodas, virgin mojitos. classic iced tea, and hot tea. There is quite a selection and I would love to work my way through the menu but first I had to quench that craving for the lychee tea. It was every bit as good as the one I had at Temple Street. When I paid for my tea I was signed up for rewards which was a nice bonus. Oh, and a large tea was only $6! I have seen Leaf House each time I went to Dunkin, but this is the first time I went. My daughter tried the house milk tea and enjoyed it. I had something I am not sure of the name because I ordered what my kid's daughter got. She assured me it would taste like a chocolate covered strawberry. It was my first time having anything with matcha in it. The drink had the popping strawberry boba. I asked about gelatin and the team grabbed the jar and we checked ingredients...no gelatin. He reminded me that other tea places may use a different brand so don't assume every place is the same....appreciated that so much. The place itself is very clean and the staff is nicer than most places these days. We ordered 4 teas: jujube rose, golden breeze, passion fruit, and i cannot remember the last one. They were really good, and the different blends are something that is not so common around Broward, as most as the standard flavors. The price is more than reasonable. I did notice that you can order online and drive there and it will be ready for you. Several cars drove up, walked in and out in less than a minute. To be honest I'm a little mad at myself for not realizing this place was here in my neighborhood all this time. The staff is friendly and greets you warmly as you enter and exit the shop. It's a great drink to cool down and refresh yourself especially during these hot south Florida summer days. The red bean milk tea is pretty good too though I do have to admit it's an acquired taste if you aren't used to the texture. Definitely something you should pop in and try though. Ended up playing cards for awhile, but they had other options, too. Cards Against Humanity specifically comes to mind. The large for boba tea is immense. It intimidated me. Ended up with a small. Ordered the Rainbow Butterfly. Found the drink beautiful to look at and was sad to stir it. It is a shame, but it does indeed need to be stirred. It is much too sweet otherwise. I forget the name but I just remembered it resembled Irish Cream. It was so good. The OJ I got was Orange Jasmine (I believe) and it satisfied my fruity, light craving. If you're looking to get work done here, there are tables but only one outlet so plan on coming with your laptop charged.
