Satay vermicelli noodle soup, curry beef with rice, pineapple bun

It was so good, I went back two days in a row! I went to their Richmond Hill location many years back, and never tried again. I thought their food was mediocre. Decided to give their North York location a try, and boy was I surprised by their food!! Ordered again the next day to confirm the quality is consistent... and I am pleased!! The only con about this location is that there is only one small table for two people. This location serves mostly take out/ delivery.

I remembered someone saying there was a famous hk spot near Yonge and Finch that sold breakfast items, so I decided to give it a try. This location is basically takeout only, but there is one table that might be vacant. Ordered a pineapple bun combo which comes with a variety of different options that go with your bun, plus their award winning milk tea. Also ordered a satay beef noodle soup combo, where you can choose the type of noodles you like, and it also comes with an egg sandwich and a cup of milk tea. All of the items were fresh and delicious. The pineapple bun combo is only $8.50, which is a great deal. Definitely worth trying

One of the best Hong Kong Milk Tea in Toronto. Food wise, their best dishes are Hainan Chicken Rice and Baked Pork Chop Rice with Cheese. It's a good unique addition to the Yonge/Finch area food scene.

Marathon Cafe finally opened in our neighbourhood! Yay! This is almost like the Chinese Starbucks to milk tea with authentic Chinese snacks and food. The existing locations are at Scarborough and Richmond hill. This new North York location is take outI, three weeks later dine in is available (3 seats only) It used to be a takeout bubble tea, so the space is small. Pick up and go type of concept. Grand opening discount if you order from the online link, it is 25% off until March 5th (Cash only) We ordered the corn and egg sandwich with drink $8.55. Flavour wise was tasty but the corn made the bread a little moist. The Luncheon Meat & Egg Sandwich Combo with Drink (20oz) $9.05. The cold milk tea and lemon ice tea is good as always, except I will ask for less ice next time. I think the milk tea always tasted better than the lemon ice tea even at the other locations. Definitely glad Marathon cafe landed in my neighbourhood. Welcome to the hood Marathon Cafe!

Yay, finally, as I am Hong Kong Style tea fever, there is a shop near Yonge and Finch has the best HK tea in town! This tiny take out shop is on finch west North of finch. There is no Decorations at all in the shop and has tiny wait area. As this is takeout shop, I don't mind it does not have any. I am most concern if the tea is as good as in Scarborough main shop. I ordered satay noodle with egg sandwich with tea set and rice noodle with tea. Finally it tastes like authentic HK style . YES! No need to go to Scarborough for authentic HK casual food. There is no parking on finch. However, I believe you can just quickly drop the car on the side street for the pickup. Or order delivery. Update: got instant noodle for breakfast. Noodle is too soft. Sad.

sausage, egg instant noodle, 20oz hk tea

I've been to Marathon in Richmond Hill a few times so had a good sense of what I was getting into here. Marathon's been the place I always remember when they won the award for the best HK Tea. The unfortunate thing is their their prices are high and their food is average. That hasn't changed. I was in the area and craving HK food and one of the good things going for Marathon is that it opens early. Most HK style cafes don't open until 10-11AM. Maybe that's how they charge so much. This location is one of those street facing styles near Yonge/Finch, only take-out. No room inside for sitting or even waiting really. So I ordered an instant noodle, sausage+egg combo. Comes with a 20oz drink. Came to about $12-13. It's pricey. The drink is enough of 2 ppl, not sure why they don't offer a smaller size. Quality wise, it's decent. Can't go wrong with instant noodle as long as they don't cheap out on the brand. The HK tea is good as always. The only downside is the pricing.

They're well packed with ingredients, and cut in 1/2 if you want to eat 1/2 and save the other for later. Cute deli decor. While it's mainly take out, there's a small counter to sit at if you can score a spot. Nice side options if you want to make it a meal (pop and chips). You won't go hungry here!

Wowowow I'm so impressed…read more Lambo's Deli does sandwiches right. The moment I got my sandwich, I knew. From of the nostalgic paper bag. A sandwich that's packed TIGHT is packed right. No mess, no stress. That is serious business. The best part is, the ingredients taste so FRESH. As we were waiting, the friendly staff offered everyone free ice cream samples. It was 25°C sunny so it was much needed. No one refused! They're testing out flavours, so I think we will expect to see soft-serve ice cream on their menu in the near future! I got the Caprese sandwich and the fresh mozzarella was so refreshing! Geniusly, there was a layer of breadcrumbs added to my sandwich, which I found very humorous... b/c really? A bread byproduct inside of a sandwich? That was a first for me. But y'know what, the crunch element over the mozzarella was a really good pairing and it works! Also, the pesto was so fresh and good.. that I had pesto on my mind the next day and I just had to find something pesto for lunch again, the influence! Honestly, we did not have the intention of visiting Lambo's that day. We had walked past it on the way to another restaurant, but I remember this corner store with bold modern-80's decor caught my eye. After our original plans fell through, we stumbled back to this street corner which turned out to be a fantastic accident because we wound up loving Lambo's so much, we swore to come back to try the rest of their sandwiches!

There are benches outside and counters where you can stand and eat, giving it a casual, quick-stop kind of vibe. It's also part market, so you can browse a selection of goodies while you're there. I tried the Antico Parma sandwich and it was delicious--definitely a spot I'd go out of my way for again. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

I got 3 sandwiches for me and my family (4 people including me). What we ordered: Mona Lisa: 8/10 For both of the sandwiches the bread was very fresh and delicious! They make them fresh for each order and you can taste the quality. The flavours in the Mona Lisa worked really well together, I loved the truffle cream and burrata. Torino: 7/10 This sandwich was also good, but the I felt like it was lacking something, especially compared to the mona lisa. The spicy eggplant just tasted like plain pickled eggplant and wasn't that spicy. I feel like both sandwiches were a bit salty due to the prosciutto, and were missing some sweet or acidic element. I added some balsamic glaze and hot honey at home which was great! The portion sizes are HUGE, the 4 of us were quite full after splitting the 3.
