The technician arrived and advised me to replace some bolts which should fix the pro lem. If not then purchasing a new unit would be the next step. We did as advised and it still didn't work- forcing us to buy a new washing machine. After purchasing and installing the new unit- we discovered the bolts he advised us to replace were in fact the shipping bolts. I would hope that a technician coming to assess a piece of equipment, given the model number/year of the machine in advance would be able to identify what SHIPPING BOLTS were. After explaining this to the manager they refused to refund the $50 fee for the error on his technicians part. Your better off going on YouTube to find a solution rather than calling their inexperienced technicians. The manager blamed us for the mistake in the end which only made the situation worse.

A tech named Gabriel came out at 7:30pm (they said he'd be here between 4 - 7pm) and tinkered around with the machine. He said the cost of repair would be more than a new machine but the machine is still completely usable (with the loud sounds). So when we tried to do laundry the next day, the machine would turn on for about a minute and then turn off immediately. It simply does not work any more whereas before they looked at it, the machine worked perfectly fine minus the loud sounds. In other words - Texcen Appliance Repair broke our washing machine. When I called them to come and fix it, their secretary Joe gave me the run around and said since we were going to get a new machine anyway, they would have to charge us again to come and fix the issue. When I told him that was unacceptable, he hung up on me. Avoid this company at all costs. They are shady and do not stand by their so-called "work." Justin did a great job, so we called again for another project..then another. After that, we decided to upgrade the service panel in the garage, he came and did that with the same level of professionalism and attention to detail. I've known for quite some time that our main service panel outside was a fire hazard. An old Federal Pacific box from the '70's. I'd thought about getting that replaced, but always got outrageous quotes from other contractors or was told that the process was "a real pain...pulling permits from the city, etc." I asked Justin about that, long story short, he got the permits, arranged the shutoff, replaced everything and gave us a major upgrade including a built in surge protector. He finished the job, and the city electrical was here within minutes to get the power back on. Seamless planning on his part. We now also have a way to run a generator to the entire house if the power goes out. All for a price much fairer than anyone who'd quoted the job in the past. This level of service is hard to find, we're really fortunate to have found him.
