Yum! I love this place. Delicious and the worker is so nice and friendly. I recommend the strawberry skydive with whipped cream mixed in and next time I'll add almonds! Last time I got the s'mores and that was good too. Usually get the regular because I eat them way too fast if I were to get the small. The strawberries are super fresh. Outdated. Walking in and looking at the decor of faded wall posters reminding me of the 80's like walking on to the set of the first Back to the Future movie. The wall tiles towards the back where the press their waffle cones were absolutely filthy. Tables and chairs were completely flimsy and dirty. The highchair was more stickier than double-sided tape. The ice cream was the only thing that was decent. But, the waffle cones were stacked in a way that they could easily get contaminated as they weren't even covered. The store itself was filthy. And customer service was subpar to almost depressing. Lack of management control is obvious and the only reason I was there like everybody else was because it was a hot day. I could have taken a lot more pictures but there is no need to post pictures to rub salt into the wound. 2 stars because at least one the girls new how to make change properly without a calculator and at least acknowledged my family when we walked in. read more

Let's just say.... their sign fell off the front of the store. With a normal company you would think they're just redoing it. With this Marble Slab location, their store looks (and smells) like it hasn't been updated since the 80s, so it's questionable whether or not they'll actually replace the sign. This is my third time going to this location in the middle of the day and it has been closed... Today was a Sunday at 2:30, and they were closed.... Whatever the reason for this, it's not good enough. If you are going to own a business and be closed during regular business hours, have the decency to notify your customers online. Every platform that I have looked on has told me that today, this location was going to be open. It takes me half on hour to get here, so I just wasted an hour going to get no ice cream. So honestly it had been a long time in between visits to any marbleslab. I had gone to one regularly in Indiana, and there was one near where I worked here in DFW that shut down some time before 2010. When in the area doing other things I was surprised to see one here, I must have missed in the past when driving by. I enjoyed having the option of unlimited toppings, even with a small which runs about $5 after tax if not getting a specialty cone. For sure a bit of nostalgia figuring out which Ice cream creation I wanted. Tried out banana ice cream with some various chocolate toppings for a chocolate banana feel, which turned out good! The staff member that was working was very friendly and helpful today. Which is for sure a plus! Only thing I would change is maybe a junior option for kids ... with maybe a limit on toppings if they are worried about Cost. Totally worth checking out! read more

Attempted to go a few weeks ago. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon. The two employees didn't greet us, and one could barely bother to look up from her phone. We walk to the counter while the silent male employee stares at us. I noticed many things had handwritten notes next to them saying they didn't have certain items. My husband said "I'd like a sprinkle cone" the gentleman says "we're out of cones" my husband says "okay, I'll have a cup of vanilla ice cream with gummy bears". I love marble slab. One of our three times going to this location there was one person behind the counter and she was nice but it took a long time. The next time we came they were closing because they had no spoons. Today we came during open hours but it was just closed. Nothing on the door, just closed. I went here as a kid and enjoyed it, but as an adult ..Not so much. The ice cream itself is tasty and it's fun to watch toppings being blended in. However, the experience is generally tainted by the rudeness encountered with the employees. They are mostly disinterested teenagers with few customer skills. My husband refuses to come back for one main reason. He wants a small amount of ice cream and would like the children's cup but he's always told no. Makes no sense...at any other fast food place I can order a kid's meal no problem. I know they want him to get a larger more expensive size but he doesn't want all that ice cream, so instead of getting a small he gets nothing. We don't go anymore. Stopped here for a afternoon treat. I had a small dark chocolate ice cream with coconut & white chocolate chips in a plain waffle bowl. My friend had the coconut ice cream with almonds and coconut mixed in. Both were very good and the service was fast and friendly. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is it was so warm in the shop the ice cream was melting before we even got to try it. We will be back though. read more

Came here for a scoop of Marble Slab!! Yup!! I haven't been to this location since I moved after high school. Nothing has been changed. I've been to other Marble slabs but it ain't the same. I had sweet cream with caramel drizzle Heath walnuts and butter finger. They have unlimited mixing thing that u can mix different toppings with no additional cost. Which is awesome! Some places charge per topping. ice cream is always amazing and good service too. It was a Saturday night and this place was packed. Everyone was smiling and working hard. I am giving one star, i would give zero if I could. Today was my first time going and i heard so many good things about this place. I was VERY disappointed the staff was horrible! As a treat for our boys, we visited this Marble Slab today. It's been a couple years since I've been here because we usually opt for frozen yogurt. Our experience today was well below par. First off and most of all, the place was absolutely filthy. I am extremely disappointed because in years past I've enjoyed coming here, but after today's visit, it will take some convincing for me to ever go back. Out of the few tables in the place, every single one of them was completely nasty, so we couldn't find anywhere to sit. Don't expect a greeting, thank you, or any other pleasantry. The prices are confusing. There are no prices for the special recipes that are featured on posters on the wall. The regular prices clearly say "unlimited toppings" but upon inquiry, you have to pay for "toppings after a certain amount" (I was not told what that certain amount is). There were no dairy-free options (not one sorbet? lame). Despite 50 degree weather, the ice cream was melting rapidly and the spoon was so crappy and ill-qualified that it bent cartoonishly. I realized my order was wrong but all employees had disappeared. One finally reappeared and sat in a chair far from the register to play on his phone. I grew up w marble slab, so this is my brand! I love that they have kids cups and it's honestly the perfect size to not get a suave overload or feel like a fatty. Also, it's less expensive than cold stone with all the mix ins. My daughter got the Cookie dough drizzle combo and I made up my own (cinnamon vanilla w banana, graham cracker and caramel crushed in). We asked ice creams with two different flavors, but because they mix them up in a big bowl, it becomes a single flavor. My son asked for two flavors that mixed up were no good at all.
