Fro-yo joints have not really changed in the past couple decades it seems. Menchie's is, in that way, exactly what you'd expect from a local fro-yo place. Bright pastel colors, class covers over a busy bar of toppings that never seems quite clean or quite organized. And really, how could it considering the number of people scooping from it? Menchie's has a smaller selection of flavors than other places I've visited. And on my last trip, the self-serve machines had low pressure, or were nearly empty perhaps. The yo itself here seems synthetic, like it melted a little and re-froze. Oddly, the website claims the opposite. So, some disconnect between experience and their process exists. The flavor is delicious, which is the thing I suppose. On a nice day, there's a little outdoor seating available, including a section of concrete seating along the parking lot that is shaded. a tree would make it absolutely perfect. But, overall a fun place to bring the fam for treats. Just nothing particularly special about the experience. read more

If I could rate this business, less than a one star rating, I would. The young man (Asian/oriental maybe) who is working tonight has the absolute worst attitude I've ever ran across. The fact that he didn't acknowledge any of the customers inside because he would rather play on his cell phone. Not to mention, there are about five flavors to pick from and two out of those five were not working properly. Usually a 5 star place but we came in 50 minutes before closing and all of their chairs were stacked up and two machines were already being cleaned, including original tart which is what I usually get. My husband said never mind because his flavor was in another machine being cleaned. Maybe management is tight with their working hours so they feel they need to have everything closed down quickly? Oh my goodness! This place was absolutely delicious! My sister brought me here because it is her favorite fro-yo place, and I can see why. They had a nice variety of flavors from the more basic Vanilla to Dole Pineapple, and dairy free fudge! They allow you to sample flavors by yourself, which I really like. When employers are looking over my shoulder as I sample, I just get uncomfortable. They have a lot of really great dairy free, gluten free, and sugar free options for those who have more specific dietary needs. There are a lot of great topping options as well, more so than other fro-yo places I've been. They have fruit, candy, chocolate options, as well as boba and syrups and marshmallow fluffs! You risk your health coming to this Menchie's. We used to come all of the time, because we live right behind it, it is a 2 minute walk from my home. The last time we were in, probably 6 months ago, we were walking in to get frozen yogurt like we always do, when I noticed one of the employees pouring the melted yogurt that was in the drain part of the machine, that had fallen out of people's cups, BACK INTO THE MACHINE!!!!!!! I will never return, you could give me a 500 dollar gift card and I would cut it up. Please please please get corporate to this location to watch what these employees are up to. Not good! read more

Just came to this location and WOW! I feel very safe and good about getting dessert here. Gloves and sanitizer is provided, and all the fun toppings are individually packaged by hand and unlimited. It's very clean and friendly, and I appreciate that the owner's not only really care about safety, but they have really sweet and pleasant young adults working for them. I can't wait to come back! Location is a little hard to find in the shopping center. It's tucked in the back corner next to Costa Vida. If I hadn't watched an Undercover Boss episode of Menchies I don't think I would've known it was a fro-yo place. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised by the fun flavors they offer such as Nutella, Reese's, Hot Chocolate, Fudge, Cheesecake,Cake batter, etc. not sure how often they change flavors but I'd like to see more fruity tropical flavors. We've always been a fan of Menchie's product. Tonight was a disaster in customer service. Another family of four walked in as the four of us did. There were three sample cups for 8 people. It was five minutes before an employee came out front. We could've all filled up our cups and walked out. When one did appear they did not greet anyone. They stood at the register with their hood on their head drinking Gatorade and watching TikTok . No "would you like to try something?" Zero interaction. The chilled toppings were out. Another employee eventually came out. Also did not address any customers but started filling large containers with yogurt. We checked out and left. What a sad sad epitome of what customer service has become. Put your phone away. Take your hood off. Greet customers. For goodness sake smile and put the dang phone away. YOU ARE GETTING PAID! Terrible service but a good lesson on the way home for my teenage kids. read more

My order: 1 Cookies N cream + some toppings 1 Original Tart + some toppings I ordered online and it was fast which was great. When it arrived both orders were original tart instead (they did not send cookies N cream). They did not let us know the machine was down when they recieved the Uber eats order, did not call and ask if we wanted a different flavor just sent original tart for both. After looking up the menu to make sure we weren't wrong. We called and asked about it, the person over the phone quickly got an attitude And was almost yelling when we asked to speak to the manager the of course said they weren't in at the moment. Initially I did not review this store because I figured it was a fluke, but it's happened twice now where I go, well before closing, and they're already preparing for closing. I get like 10-15 minutes prep, but a full hour before closing the toppings are being put away? All of the cold toppings were off of the counter and loaded up into a cart. When I walked in, I made sure that they closed at 9 (it was 8pm), which they confirmed, but I already felt very unwelcome inside because they obviously wanted to get out as early as possible. The very first time this happened, all of the cold toppings were off of the counter, and the topping spoons were already put away as well. I was given a new yogurt spoon for every new topping I wanted, as to not contaminate the toppings. It just seems like there needs to be some extra training, because as a customer, I don't feel like the employees want me there. They taste great and a lot of the options are low in fat or gluten free which I like. I recommend the New York cheesecake, cake batter, pumpkin and salted caramel. My new FroYo spot. Super clean, the young girl that runs the counter is always friendly and there are usually 8-10 base flavors to select from. They have several seasonal flavors (White Chocolate Peppermint Bark, and some flavored biscotti thing) so that's cool. Menchie's also offers really flavorful toppings that are always in very nice presentation form (fresh) - my daughter loves to pile whipped cream on her frozen yogurt (a 1:1 ratio in fact) and I'm okay with that since the whipped cream weighs practically nothing! The process is like all self-serve fro-yo spots. Grab your cup (one size), pick a base yogurt (or 2, or 3) - each station serves 2 flavors or a swirl of the both. Walk over to the topping stations and get creative. Grab a spoon and napkins and head to the counter to be weighed and paid. There are simple beverages to choose from as well (a cold case in the corner) - and then you are done. There are plenty of spots to sit and enjoy your treat or you can throw a lid on a take it to go. I usually spend around $6 for two decent sized portions with several toppings so I'd say Menchie's is competitive in price. read more

Weird, spongey mochi - seriously, what's the deal? Flavors seemed unique and fresh made waffles in store smelled awesome. It's hard not to be drawn in on that scent alone! Toppings bar was...blah. I'm more of a fruit and nuts person when it comes to frozen yogurt. They seriously lacked in both of these categories. Candy, syrups, marshmallow toppings seemed plentiful, so this may be more geared towards children. Blueberries still had tiny stems in most of them, strawberries had seen better days. I think kiwi was the only other option that day. The setup does not allow for the employee to quickly assess and monitor depleted toppings, since it is against a wall and the employee is behind a circular counter for the register. I got vanilla cheesecake and pineapple yogurt as my base and I got coconut, Graham cracker crumbs with strawberries,kiwi ,whipped cream and marshmallow topping, it was so good! Love this place and my kids know we have a new Monday place to go! Menchies Mondays $5 for all you can fit in your cup! Put ur toppings in halfway and then top with yogurt that way they don't roll off the top! The chalk board is cool my daughter loves that! The staff is friendly and attentive! I'm giving one star because when I walked in with my in-laws, husband and 2 of my kids, we were not greeted by the young lady standing there and she didn't speak more than 2 words to us while we were there enjoying our dessert. Not even a 'thank you' or goodbye. Not even a smile. When we got ready to leave, a young man came in and he was the same way; very indifferent about being there.
