We have a high end travertine stone farmhouse style sink imported years ago from Turkey. Unfortunately, our garbage disposal went out and in the process jarred the sink and caused a small crack. Of course I came to YELP to hopefully find someone to fix this travertine crack and Ken from Marblelife contacted me within an hour. I told him I had a need for someone to evaluate and repair this. He was able to make arrangements for his technician Ken C. to come out same day to evaluate. To make a long story short, within two days, my travertine sink was beautifully and professionally repaired by Ken C. The workmanship was quality. I would highly recommend Marblelife. The only negative was that in there ad it was stated that initial evaluation was no charge, however I was charged $50.00 for initial consult visit which Technician Ken C. seemed surprised at when I gave him the check. It would've been nice if they would've applied this amount to the total charge. Not a deal breaker however Update 7/9/23: I had mentioned in my review I've been charged $50 for the initial consult when it was first stated to me through the ad that consult was free. And when they arrived to do the service, I don't believe they had the right tools to do edges of tile for cleaning which they had to do by hand, which look nowhere close to as nice as what the rest of the cleaning on my tile does. I had previously had Marblelife restore my ceramic tile floors. They did such an excellent job that I again reached out regarding a marble vanity top. We had considered simply replacing the vanity top, however we really liked the color and texture, and as the Marblelife quote was very reasonable, we decided to see how a restoration would come out. I had an appointment with Marblelife at 9:30 A.M.today; I had discussed the work that I wanted to have performed by the company several weeks before work execution date; I mentioned that I would be interested in honing and sealing the marble floors and the marble tile treads for the step up to the Jacuzzi tubes in two bathrooms;I discussed with the owner that more than one grade of abrasive would likely be necessary to acheive the desired result (with regard to the diamond honing pads) The crew arrived a half hour late putting me behind with regard to my schedule for which the company owner was completely unapologetic and defensive; The work order was nothing like I had discussed with the company owner; I wanted all marble surfaces honed as had been done by a marble floor service company out of Orlando with excellent results but this company wanted to just spot hone the marble surface areas; When I expressed my concern about the spot honing creating a non uniform surface shine the owner responded by stating that I was trying to tell them how to do there job and then expanded this theme by saying I was telling him that they did not know what they were doing; Again a defensive posture of platitude (none of those things were said or otherwise implied by me) ; He also mentioned that their company could not hone the marble tile treads at the time of work order execution but apparantly had no problem with this feature when we discussed the work prior; For all of the aforementioned , I would never consider using this company again or recommend it to a friend or relative; It is unforntunate that the customer never realizes what kind of job there getting unless they have a standard for comparison as I had with the real professions out of Orlando. read more

However they did recommend Marblelife and Ken and we are thankful for that. The marble countertops had been pretty etched from citrus and other liquids. After one hour they said they couldn't make it. I couldn't wait any longer so just cancelled. Be careful. Remember that scene in Leave it to Beaver where Beaver does a bad job of cutting somebody's lawn on the downlow, rings their doorbell holding out his hand expecting money. Well, that's Marble Life. I had them over to repair a seam in a granite counter top. But, what they really wanted to do was polish all my granite. So, they said they would do a small spot to show me what it would look like. Instead they did a big crop circle and said isn't this great? Now, for a small sum they would do the rest. I declined to have the rest polished and they said my crop circle would go away in a few weeks. 6 months later this crop circle will most definitely be around for years. Pretty shady business model. I called to ask if they could reverse the crop circle and they said they could pour acid on to my granite. I said would that hurt it? They said not necessarily. Are they serious? Unbeknown to us, what we purchased turned out to .be very low grade and there were many flaws. Just used Marblelife for travertine tile cleaning and "repair." Was introduced to their services through my use of Beacon Carpet Cleaning, associated company. Ken, the owner, came and saw the work I needed done on kitchen floor - pitted in several places and badly in need of strip, clean, and seal. He also looked at the bathroom - tile walls and floor, including shower. Ken, the owner, would not promise to be able to fill my pits in the kitchen as they were small and might not hold a repair. As he was with carpet cleaning, he let me know of their limitations as well as what they could do. I DO appreciate this honesty. Ken, the employee, worked very hard, was very professional, explaining the process and focusing on doing it right. The kitchen looks better than I ever expected it could look - like a new floor. Recently we accidentally spilled some drops of toilet bowl cleaner (hydrochloric acid) on our beautiful marble bathroom countertop. This resulted in unsightly etching (white spots) all across the front section of the countertop. We were sickened.
