When I dropped it off to Mauro at Fallani's, he asked for the history. I told him it is my paternal Grandmother's cedar chest; how the piece has passed from one family member to the next; and how I really want my Father to see his Mother's cedar chest fully restored before he passes. Mauro took all of this to heart and said "I want to make it perfect for your family." Today I picked up the piece and I can wholeheartedly say he did exactly that! My family is so pleased, and we are especially happy that during the entire restoration I told Mauro "restore it as if it was yours." I can't explain how happy all of family is about Grandma's cedar chest as I have sent pictures around. Thank you, thank you, thank you Mauro!

Andrew was promptly available for appointments, took precise measurements, and created a highly detailed design diagram so we could collaborate on dimensions, materials, and placement. His customer service is also next-level: after the job was complete, we noticed the texture of the floor flakes wasn't quite as smooth as our previous house. Without a second thought, Andrew sent his team back out to smooth it down and apply an extra topcoat. I highly recommend Andrew and his team to anyone looking to upgrade their garage or cabinetry or closets. They will absolutely be my top choice for future projects.

We got a few quotes, and Infinity was the lowest bid. That was only part of our decision process, however, as we wanted it to be done right. After their process was explained to us, we felt comfortable that they would most likely do a good job. And, they did! Our patio looks great! The guys who did the job worked really hard and were meticulous. Due to weather issues, the job was delayed a few weeks. While unavoidable, that was disappointing. What made it a lot less frustrating was the very timely communication by Andrew, always keeping us updated on status. He was a real pleasure to work with. Our patio should look good for many years, but if we ever need resurfacing again, we would definitely use Infinity.

This time, we decided to move forward with a project Luis recommended: refinishing one of the wood laminate kitchen countertops in our rental unit. Initially, I expected the result to look like a simple repaint, especially considering how worn and faded the laminate surface had become. However, once I saw the finished work, I could hardly believe my eyes. It genuinely looked as though we had replaced the countertop with granite. The finish appeared solid, durable, and waterproof. Luis and his team did an outstanding job. I was truly blown away by both the quality of the workmanship and the final result. I only wish I had taken before-and-after photos, but judging by the many client photos already available, you can clearly see the level of quality they consistently deliver. We knew that we needed an expert to complete the job without the risk of damaging them. We had a difficult decision to make and for this project, we obtained 7 quotes. After looking into each of the companies through the CSLB website, we found out that only four of them had a valid contractors license. We felt very comfortable with George, the owner of Jace. He has vast knowledge of hardwood floors with years of experience, has a friendly demeanor, and is a fellow dog rescuer. One of the other reviews mentions a customer's satisfaction with Jace's refinishing of their 100 years old floors. Though his quote was not the lowest, we chose quality over price. And we are so happy we did. Carlos, the lead tech on our project is also very knowledgeable and approachable. He answered all of our questions, and explained everything they were doing throughout the various stages of the process. Carlos's assistant, Jair is friendly and a hard worker. After the work was completed, Mike came to inspect the work, and grout the transition from our Dining Room to our kitchen. I didn't even have to ask them to do this. George suggested it to replace the ugly molding that was previously there, and on which we would frequently stub our toes. Mike returned a second time to drop off a complementary Bona cleaning kit. From the initial Yelp request to the finish of our project, George and his team were stellar, exceeding our expectations. Our floors look amazing, as if they were newly installed! The back patio was 1970s looking brown pebble tec around the pool and patio area (which was fading and coming loose), and the side driveway was painted concrete which got super slippery in the rain. I wanted something textured that my kids wouldn't slip on, and I wanted to tie the whole house together with one uniform coating. Their crew worked really hard for us, and they really paid attention to detail. The painters were super neat, and the guys doing the coating were meticulous. It was a really big job, and it took a while to complete, but they kept at it and did it right. They've even come back a couple times to fix some little things that I messed up, or that happened through normal wear and tear. I will attach some before and after pics if I can find them, but in the meantime if you're considering resurfacing a patio, driveway, or other area, call these guys first. They'll take care of you.

I recently had the pleasure of hiring Cesar, Juan and their team, for a travertine cleaning job, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Their attention to detail, responsiveness, and thoroughness truly exceeded my expectations. I tasked them with cleaning multiple surfaces, including travertine shower walls and floors, bathroom floors, living room and kitchen floors, and stairs. Despite not having Before and After pictures, I can confidently say the transformation was incredible. Years of wear and tear had left my floors looking dark and worn, especially the kitchen floor, which was practically black with grease-stained grout. However, Cesar, Juan and their team worked meticulously, taking their time to ensure every inch was spotless. Their professionalism was evident throughout the process, and now my floors look brand new. They know exactly what they were doing. They removed my old caulking in the bathrooms and applied new caulking little by little, no rush and no complaint at all. They deep cleaned all the grouts and restored their original look with great focus and patience, just as artists work on their great paintings. We hired Granite Masters to resurface our marble kitchen counter, repair a crack and polish our caesarstone kitchen island, and to repair a few cracks and polish our travertine counter in the master bathroom. Very professional service and fair price and was very impressed with the polishing / resurfacing - - especially on the marble - - but the crack repairs in the caesarstone and travertine were minimal at best. I was expecting a pretty comprehensive repair based on what was discussed during the estimate phase - basically made it seem like they would pretty much be invisible following repair - but as the project progressed on the day of repair it was explained to me that it is very hard to fill the type of cracks I had. In terms of the crack repairs - I can't tell much of a difference before and after - I just wish this was explained to me during the proposal process and I probably just would have had the marble counter done and not paid 300-400 dollars to fill two-three cracks that honestly look no different before / after. read more

If you are reading this review you are most likely in processes of searching for a floor stone refinishing contractor. That was me about a week ago. I was looking for a contractor that met my following criteria: 1 - Provide a complete cleaning process (sanding, grout cleaning, polishing, filing the holes, and sealing). Some contractor offered less than a complete process. 2 - To be professional and responsive. 3 - Have good references. 4 - To be very price competitive. After interviewing 6 different contractors, including the top rated companies on YELP. I decided to Hire Granite Masters. They exceeded my expectation on all the above criteria. 1 - Their process was perfect and they made sure every inch of the floor is looking better than when it was brand new installed. 2 - They were very professional, explained every step of the work and they were on time. 3 - References were all 5 stars. 4 - Price was about 20% below competitors. They did an excellent job and in the given time frame that they quoted. They were on time and came all the way from orange county to the hollywood hills. My floors look better than they did when I bought my home 10 ten years ago. My flooring was way overdue and I will never use anyone else to do my floors. We have a marble kitchen floor, but after 20 years it's deteriorated and dulled. I couldn't find anyone with a diamond polisher to work on it, but Cesar was amazing. Not only was he willing, but called me the next day to say he had a cancelation and was able to come out 48 hours after my call. He showed up on time, masked and respectful. He laid down protective floor gear, taped all the corners of my oddly shaped floor and got to work. For a fair price he not only polished it to a high sheen (which I expected) but also filled all rhw cracks, wire-brushed the grout and patched it where needed (which I didn't expect), and my home looks like we just moved in! Santiago, Lino & Caesar did a great job refinishing my Turkish marble floors. The grout color was no longer available, but they were able to mix the perfect match. The owner of another company (in Newport Beach) told me they couldn't make my Turkish marble look shiny and new again and tried to talk me into honing them instead. Glad I went with Granite Masters. They were very easy to work with. I didn't realize how bad my floors were until I saw the results. They stayed late when I asked them to add refinishing the master bath. My slate kitchen floor was looking very dull and there was no sealant left on the floors. I called Granite masters for an estimate. Caesar came home and gave us an unbeatable estimate that included not just the kitchen floor but also polishing the granite counter tops. Caesar and Victor showed up exactly at 10:00 am as per the appointment. While Victor was cleaning the floor, Caesar polished and put sealant on my granite counter top. I recently hired Caesar to do travertine work in my house and I couldn't be happier with the results and service. I had my floors professionally cleaned approximately 6 months prior (by a different company) but I was unsatisfied with the work. No wax or "protective coating" was applied. Over the course of nearly a month, Adriana was very patient with me as I mulled over the options - from refinishing the engineered hardwood to considering LVP or laminate. They have lots of samples in store to see in person. Adriana and DM helped me explore all the possibilities, even testing out wood stains, before we ultimate decided that laminate would be the best choice given the color I wanted and our lifestyle. The entire process went smoothly. Adriana stayed in contact daily with updates and quickly addressed any questions / concerns. DM was honest, had fair pricing, and the work is impeccable. Tom came and gave us an estimate and answered all our questions. He is very knowledgeable and gave us input and suggestions on things we hadn't considered. His quote was several thousand less than a quote we had received from another company. Installation went smoothly and they did a great job cleaning up each day. Raymond was our installer and has excellent attention to detail, he does outstanding work. I'm loving our new floors and glad we found Maestro flooring!
