I go here because this is the closest location from where I live. Everything is ok but I have to agree on some other yelpers about them sales staff. They are SO SNOBBY, STUCK UP, and there is no CUSTOMER SERVICE whatsoever. I really dont want to go here because somehow, everytime I walk in here, I feel intimidated. For Christmas 2020, I purchased one of the Marc Jacobs larger bags with a hard shell outside and big enough to carry a computer. In less than a year, the handles literally fell apart. I have now heard this from several people where they have had the same issue with the handles. I don't think it's any big secret to anyone who knows me that the way to my heart or even into my, um, uh, yeah, is SHOES. I looooooooooooohhhhve me a good pair of edibly hot shoes and this season Marc Jacobs has em and I wanted em! So much so, that as soon as I peeped a pair on some undeserving b*tch (kidding) I immediately started stalking eBay to see if I could score a pair on there instead of paying the almost $350 retail asking price. Well the mighty day came when ding, holy crap, are those...are...whoa...oh my go....FAVORITES and SAVE. I found those bad girls for $100 and they were my size. A 9 which normally is poifect. So now the mission of order was to run red lights and get to Marc Jacobs as soon as humanly possible and try on the size 9's and then bolt home and bid on them. (What? Stop looking at me like I'm weird) Once in, I b-lined and probably knocked over a few rich ladies (meh, casualties of the shoe wars ladies) and grabbed the burgundy patent ankle strappy platforms of love and handed them to the dude working there. "9" is all I said and after about 4.39 minutes (what? you guys don't foam at the mouth and count the seconds waiting for your shoes to arrive, sheesh) there they were. To make them even more enticing he says, "Oh nice, you will be the first to try these on" **GIDDDDDDYYYY*** I then set the shoes down and proceed to slip my foot into them and...ummm...crap...push...push...harder...squeeze that puppy in there....PLEASE SHOE GODS WORK WITH ME!?!?!?!?!? But it was no use. This just wasn't going to happen for me and then total sadness invaded my being. The salesdude told me they had a 10. But why? Why would I do that to myself? That's like meeting the perfect guy and then finding a fly in your Chardonnay or something. SUCKS. So I left. I left empty footed and a bit distraught, but ya know, $350 is a lot to pay for a pair of shoes you could have landed for $100. Sure I would have practically slept in them every night, polished them with TLC each day and written poetry about them, but it's okay...really...I will live...somehow...sort of....no need to worry about me... read more

Even though your current collection has more sparkle than Las Vegas, had I the money I would wear your shimmery garbs every day. Even that weird purple and orange dress thing that we could not figure out where the neck goes! And your shoes......hubba hubba. you fill me with blistering delight. Your bags blind me. Literally. they are all metallic and its like looking at the sun. But hey, love is blind right? Your sales associates offer me water when I am heaving from being overwhelmed. Glee fan worker dude with the glasses (I never got his name, sorry I know I made him sound ridiculous) was extremely welcoming and helpful. They had a secret sale on memorial day and everything was 40% off!! my sister got a really cute shirt and the worker picked out super cute sunglasses for my mom. He was really nice and overall the workers here are 10x better than the ones at the book store across the street. I could feel his beady little eyes on me the entire time, even though there were other people in the store who very well might have needed help. After a loop around, the only things I was completely in love with were the purses, which is the LAST thing I need right now. Maybe next season. LOVE this location omg. The exterior of the building is even gorgeous. Super chic, clean, and welcoming. I was greeted when I came in and employees were helpful with any and all questions I had. Sometimes I'll go into these designer retail stores and get scoffed at, with assumptions that I cannot afford the store's items (which is mostly true tbh). I couldn't believe how welcoming they were here. I wish the selection was a little more extensive (especially after shopping at the NYC location), but everything is arranged very nicely. Definitely the place to go if you're looking for handbags and other accessories. Be on the lookout for sale items, especially if you're a broke Midwest girl who is used to a super low standard of living and can't believe how much people pay for everything here. read more

I usually go to the Marc by Marc Jacobs store across the street because they have gloves for $3 because that's all that I can afford. However, Clarisse C. had to use the restroom so the security guard said the men's store across the street had one. He actually meant the Marc Jacobs store next door. This is the high-end, no $3 key chains, no $1 ballpoint pens, Marc Jacobs. I was very intimidated about going in because I was expecting an unfriendly snooty saleslady, but she was laidback and so chill! Love Love Love this MJ boutique. This is a no fly zone for me. Every time I am here, man I end up dropping some dollarz! Marc Jacobs is a fuckin' genius with his attention to detailing and juxtaposing street and high fashion flair, stuffing them in a blender and wah laa, an original fun limited edition Marc Jacbos Vans!..woo hooo. Who knew you could be a kid again. Feels like back in my junior high school days. This store has one of the largest selections of merchandise, color choices and sizes. Also has truck loads of accessories. My favorite part of the store is the limited graphic tee selections that comes out every season. The theme and style are insane.Basically if MJ designed it, this store will have it. From shoes to coats to books to watches to.....of course...the purses...it's all about the purses. For men, selections are pretty good. From coats to jackets to belts to shoes. Best part of the store is the crazy window display that gets decked out periodically. This store is about 2 to 3 times the size of the San Francisco location. FYI - I've even seen a few limited MJ/Murakami collaboration T-Shirts here. Technically, I am not sure if it's a collaboration with Murakami himself but the illustration style is extremely similar. Of course, it is only my best educated guest considering that MJ and Murakami are pals and has wiped up historically one of the hottest bag collection for LV in the history of fashion. How can Marc Jacobs ever go wrong? He just can't. I love this man. He's so fabulous. I can't believe it's taken me three years of working in LA to take the short drive to Beverly Hills for a little shopping. I've always shopped at Neiman's online because I didn't want to deal with the crazy traffic or the snooty sales reps. On the contrary, there was plenty of street parking when I got to the store around 6pm and the sales reps weren't snooty! I love all the bags! If it weren't for my new year's resolution to start saving for a condo which seems almost out of reach for 20 somethings living in LA, I would've bought the whole store. read more

Service is nice...the ring-up time is bit long sometimes though cause they look up everything in a folder for pricing & barcodes. i don't see a yelp account for the marc jacobs for men branch, but i have to say that one of the sales associates named sarah was amazing and made my visit to the store absolutely enjoyable. obviously customer service is a priority with her job, but she provided it effortlessly for my friend and i. not only did she offer us water, but she offered her advice on the items i was looking for and even seemed interested in my everyday life. she gave me her card so that i could keep an eye on a certain item i was looking for and did not make me feel unwelcome at a high-end store like most employees do at other places. i am an avid marc jacobs shopper and i would go to her store specifically to buy anything i needed from her. honestly, i wanted to be her friend more than anything. i hope that a supervisor reads this, because she deserves something for her service. read more

There are actually 3 MJ stores within a stone's throw of each other and that makes this tiny part of LA my happy place. My bf loves the boy store where there are often shoes on sale (up to 70% off!). The tall cute boy there is nice, the snarky one is not. The collection store is beautiful and the people are sweet and helpful. Now the other store.... I go here the most and at the risk of ruining a good thing, I'm telling the secret... this is the best freaking place to buy Christmas presents EVER. You may think MJ presents, this girl must be in debt! But no my friends, there are MANY "special" items to be had for UNDER30$! I have a bunch of teenage girl cousins and I get their stuff here every year. One year a magic wallet 15$, last year a travel bag 10$ (OG price 95!!!). They even gift wrap your loot for you. Go early in the season bc the cool colors can run out. I heart MJ because I love the aesthetic and that its possible to partake in the fashion fun for something as small as a 1$ pin or you get wild and go all out, like getting (my baby) a diaper bag. Also, stuff that is hard to find in the stores can generally be found here and you can even call, buy stuff over the phone and pick it up the next day to ensure you get your perfect item. I have spent many a dollar in the Marc by Marc Jacobs store. I love the whimsy and sass that the clothes here have. And OH MY GOD the shoes! The shoes! I would put myself into debt to buy them. In fact, at dimmer financial points in my life I have. And happily. They never fail to get compliments, most often from guys-you know that's some impressive footwear, no? Who doesn't like silver flats with pointed toes and rhinestone covered bows? No one I want to know, that's who. I also love that the store carries little cheap accessories like animal shaped pencil sharpeners and band-aid packets for people that appreciate the MJ wit without having the ka-ching to pay for it. Excellent supply of hair accessories and wallets too, if I really had the money to blow on such things. Coming here never fails to put a smile on my face-especially during their kick ass sales (again, it's all about the shoes!). After going into several of the nearby competing stores and either receiving holier than though help or no help at help, it was SOOOOOO refreshing to go into the Marc Jacobs store and be greeted by one of the most professional sales teams I have encountered. The store manager, David, I believe, was not only adorable but beyond professional and clearly awesome at what he does. The rest of the team was amazing and completely attentive. For some reason as soon as my boyfriend and I walked into this location their was an uncomfortable vibe going on. Almost the sort of "I know you're not gonna buy anything so please stop wasting my time" attitude. Not cool considering I respect the Marc Jacobs brand a lot and plenty of my paychecks have gone to his clothing. The selection in the store was nice and the female employee was polite enough to mention some sales they had going on but on an occasion where I was willing to shell out some serious dough I walked out with nothing.
