I reserved a very specific truck -- a 16' box truck with a liftgate -- about two weeks in advance…read morebecause I needed it to transport medical supplies. Unfortunately, when I arrived at 9 AM to pick up the truck, they didn't have my reservation available. I was given a bit of a runaround about what happened. At one point I was told they simply didn't have it, and then later that someone had ripped the roof off the truck. Regardless of the reason, I was never notified ahead of time. I didn't receive a call, text, or any kind of heads-up, even though this apparently happened before my pickup time. So when I showed up and learned the truck wasn't available, it put me in a pretty stressful situation. To their credit, they did try to offer an alternative -- a 25' box truck with a liftgate -- but that was far too large for where I needed to go and wouldn't fit in the driveway where I was picking up the supplies. The only option left was a regular truck with a liftgate and an open truck bed, which meant I had to transport medical supplies exposed to the elements, which obviously wasn't ideal. I appreciate that the staff tried to find some kind of solution, but not having the reserved vehicle and not being notified ahead of time caused a lot of unnecessary stress. If you're reserving a specific vehicle you really need, it may be worth calling ahead to confirm it will actually be available

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I had a truck reserved weeks in advance, yet when I arrived,…read morenot only was the vehicle not ready, there was no truck. There was one person working the entire counter trying to answer phones, handle walk-ins, and somehow manage reservations at the same time. The result? Total chaos. If a company accepts reservations, the bare minimum expectation is that the vehicle will actually be available or an alternative. Enterprise Truck Rental clearly isn't equipped to handle even basic rental operations. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

I'm guessing it's U-Haul policy (or maybe just this location's) that when both parties make a…read moremistake, to take advantage of their customers as much as they can. U-Haul likely made a mistake on marking their fuel gauge and I, two hours behind schedule, signed off on it. Items were loaded on-site from a pod and driven ten miles, half-filling a 15' box truck. A singular tool chest was then driven six miles one way and six miles back to the depot. A total of 22 miles. I had estimated based on load and distance to refill around 2 gallons of fuel and returned it slightly past closing. Checked the receipt the next day and was billed an additional 5 gallons of fuel (~$25) claiming it didn't match what was signed off. That's ~7 gallons of fuel for 22 miles. It doesn't take much brain power to realize that a half-filled 15' box truck does not drive THREE MILES TO THE GALLON. The only figure I can think of that gets anywhere near this number is a Bugatti going at over 250 mi/hr. If whoever I spoke to the on the phone was willing to work with me and ended up billing me for an additional gallon or two, I would find that an acceptable resolution. The fact that a representative was unwilling to relent on the impossibility of a box truck getting 3 MPG speaks a lot about their customer service skills or lack thereof.

We bought insurance and that is a SCAM. They have been dodging us. They are trying to claim that they do not cover how items are packed. Even though it is 100% there fault.

I also asked for the price and they confirmed $479.99 and they also provided the price of the model up for SR200. I drove 30 min to purchase it and they asked if i would like them to test out the unit to ensure everting worked? I said yes and this is one of the reasons I like punching from them is they register for warranty, test and i support local business. Unit fired up, during checked he said total was $600ish? I immediately said the price was $479.99 and their website shows that price and that was the price given when i called. He asked if was still on sale and I said I have no idea but that why a called to confirm inventory and price. He asked who I spoke to and I did not get a name but he would find out who i spoke to. He found the person I spoke to and he said they can't honor the price he gave me for 479.99 because there was a miscommunication? I asked what the miscommunication was when he said what the price was 479.99? He stated they can't sell it at that price and walked away. What piss poor customer service not to honor the price they have on webpage and after confirming that was the correct price. This is bait and switch and I can understand not always updating your website but that's why I called and asked for the price and inventory. Very disappointing after driving 30 min to support local Austin business and then 30 min to return home.
