He brought a crew of two guys who fixed a significant damage to my wall caused by adhesive tiles. The walls look brand new and the paint job is extremely well done. I hired UFC Painting for painting the interior of my house, due to their competitive pricing. Ulises came to my house for an estimate the same day I contacted him, and that evening he sent me a detailed quote in writing. Not only that, he was also able to start the paint job the following Monday. His promptness was just outstanding. When Ulises was painting my house, I threw in a few small jobs. He was kind enough to do them without charging a dime! For example, a prior contractor made a hole in a floor tile, Ulises went an extra mile to fix that for me--no charge. I also asked him to install a range hood and some ceiling lights, to replace a door lock and a T molding, plus a few other minor things. No additional charge at all! Ulises went above and beyond to meet your needs. I had some CFL light bulbs in the ceiling and one of the housing was broken. I asked him to replace that particular housing so that I could install a recessed LED light myself. Not only he didn't charge me for replacing the housing, he also went ahead to swap out all the CFL lights with LED lights which I put nearby. I was planning to swap out the lights myself. He knew I was going to do it and he took the initiative to do it himself without me asking. This type of service is hard to find. I never made bonus payments to a contractor but this time, I felt it's unethical not to pay him a bonus for all the extra work. We got a lot of quotes that were way more expensive than we expected. UFC Painting was the only company that gave us the most reasonable quote for this job. /tl;dr: Hire these guys. Quality work at reasonable prices. I needed partial exterior repaint: our house was painted 6 years ago, but the paint started peeling on the sunny side - had to repaint front and right side of the house, mixed stucco and wood paneling and trim. Ulises gave me a fairly reasonable quote (lower than others - although not by much), and was able to start work within the same week. Work finished in under 2 weeks. Guys showed up early, worked all day, every day. They set up scaffolding fairly fast, and draped them off from the neighbors. Boy oh boy did we need this done now, before the rains start. Turned out the right side was bad. They had to scrape off pretty much the entire wall, down to stucco. There were multiple cracks and I'm not sure how it wasn't leaking already. Almost a week of prep, that's what it took. Several layers of base and paint was put on. The results look fantastic, and I'm fairly confident of the quality of the repair to last much longer than it did before. Many thanks! read more

Would give them 10 stars if i could. Ulises is kind, communicative, flexible, and has very high standards for the work performed. Please see attached for pictures of the final painting. He and his team painted the entire exterior of our house in two weeks. On the days that it rained and they couldn't come, he communicated clearly. We changed our minds about a few things along the way as we saw the painting come together, and it was no problem. He went above and beyond in many ways, for example, returning items that didn't work to the hardware store himself, removing outdated technology from the outside of the house, and installing extra items that hadn't been included in the original quote. He did all of this with minimal extra cost, and in the end the final bill was very close to the original quote. We had a wonderful experience with Ulises and his team. They were prompt, responsive, and polite. We typically do our own painting, which isn't always the highest quality but saves us a few bucks, but with a baby on the way, we wanted a nicer look to the nursery and to avoid paint fumes. The look and finish we ended up with, for a very reasonable price, was better than anything we could have done ourselves by a long way, and they were very mindful, forgoing the primer they'd requested after they saw the color they selected and saving a full gallon of paint for us (so that both the paint and the primer could then be returned). They also masked without my asking, given the pregnancy, which was so thoughtful and kind. I would recommend them to any friends. read more
