I have never given a review for a dental office before. It's honestly never occurred to me to do so. But my experience at Marconi Dental Group made me want to recommend them to everyone I know, and now, apparently, to the internet. So without further ado, here are highlights of the review I already posted to Google. I can honestly say I've never had a better dental experience than my first visit to Marconi Dental Group. I've had good and bad dentist experiences in the past, but most of them were just mediocre and forgettable. Marconi Dental Group was a very memorable and very positive experience! From the front desk to the dentist himself, every person I interacted with seemed not only genuinely engaged with their work, but with their patients, too. They take great care to make all their patients feel comfortable, whatever that might mean for them. When it came to the actual exam, I was impressed again. I never once felt talked down to or ignored. I left feeling like I was a real participant in my treatment plan, and not just taking orders from an impersonal dentist. My advice if you're looking for a new dentist/dental group... look elsewhere. After receiving their flyers in the mail claiming "Dental care to fit your budget" I decided to reach out to them for a consultation. The receptionist quoted me $100 to an exam (free to those with insurance) Soon after arriving for my first appointment, 4 wks ago, I was quickly quoted an amount twice as much. After completing my ex-rays, they next said I would have to pay an additional $250 for an ex-ray that I feel they had just completed. Hopeful for some reasonable help, I agreed. The session ended after a few more questions, one being the importance of budget best for me. 2 wks later I returned to discuss a treatment plan. Now granted, I do need some work, but I didn't expect a plan cost of over 40k. I asked if there were other alternatives that would be much less. Prior to leaving, Dr. Vinny Huang asked me what I do for a living... after hearing my reply of ride share driver, he quickly left, and I was escorted to a young lady that presented me with their quote, as well as some financial options. She said she would talk with the doctors regarding a reduced plan. That was 2 wks ago, and I don't anticipate any call soon. Business or not.. where is the decency, professionalism, or humanity of these people. I can only hope that this "business" has the same fate as the ones previously... FAILURE read more

They have now sent me to collection for services I did not receive That was actually for my son who was over the age of 18 and no longer my financial responsibility and not only that my daughter still goes there and they don't tell me there's a bill but then turn around and send me to collection what'sense does that make? How is it they make you pay before you walk out of the office but then turn around and say you still owe? So I took my elderly mother in who hadn't been to the dentist since before her dentist retired (quite a few years ago). Not happy with this dentist office. They charge too much and they put a filling in a cavity when I needed a root canal. Offered a credit for the filling but only if I pay them to do the root canal now. No way I want them working on my teeth again! Total waste of my time and money. read more

Dr. Alizadeh has been my dentist since 2013. An amazing referral from a former co-worker of mine and one of the absolute best dentists in my experience! Not only is he friendly & personable but patient and does a phenomenal job explaining what needs to be done. Dr. Fischer has taken over the practice and he's a rockstar as well! Very kind and patient. I have dental anxiety and everyone does a great job being not only patient but oFfering treatment options to help with the anxiety. I recommend Marconi Dental Group to everyone! I also don't have dental insuranceso they have a cash pay plan to help make treatment affordable!!! I've been coming here for a few years now, and I have issues w/the billing department. The dental hygienists, I have no problem with. They do great jobs. It's the people at the desks, who take your money when you come in for your appointment that seems to mess it up about 50% of the time. I've been overcharged a couple of times, and then just today they wanted to collect $229ish for my cleaning, when I have dental insurance. My insurance has paid for all of my cleanings, besides some of the items done, not covered--which is fine. I had no idea that this cleaning was being billed to me, so I cancelled it and walked out. There's been too many times of having issues w/the billing, and if it wasn't for my company/job selling our division in a few months, I'd just find another dentist. read more

I had written a different post after my first visit to this dentist, stating how great I thought they were because I normally hate dentists. However, I have run into a couple of problems with them- 1)they placed a bridge in my mouth AFTER stating they were merely repairing an old bridge, which led to grinding down a second tooth (I understand why it had to be done, but they were not clear on what they would be doing ahead of time, which is something I told them was a BIG DEAL for me at my first appointment), 2)they are pushing "treatments" that aren't all covered by dental insurance, like sleep apnea and sleep study machines (I never have understood how sleep apnea relates to my dental health, and they were trying to run the sleep study through my medical insurance, because they "saw blockage on my dental x-rays"), and 3)they "fired" my husband from dental care, including his family, because we had not come in for treatment during the COVID quarantine period (there was no asking us why we hadn't come in, but just "firing" us because we hadn't come in or called to make appointments). After "firing" us, they continue to email me, reminding me to make appointments. This is unprofessional and not compassionate, especially in the times that we are in. They don't care about their clients, but instead care about making money. I was constantly pushed to get dental care that cost a lot of money and to get a sleep study through the dental office (that was also going to cost a great deal of money), but I went to my doctor and teated to be told I have no nasal blockage nor do I have apnea. read more

I never tend to write reviews however in this case I have to share my experience. Although the dental staff is kind and timely the front desk team is a mess. I have never gone to a dentist or a doctors office that didn't verify insurance prior to getting services or visits done. I had a filling and two cleanings done and after the second cleaning I was then told there was an issue with my insurance, however I was told by the receptionist because they didn't check prior to my services they would figure out the cost. A month later now there is an issue and I get an invoice after speaking with the manager( Stephanie) to see how to resolve the issue all she can say is that the receptionist I spoke to is no longer with them and they cant make promises about discounts but she did and now I am stuck with the bill. Maybe you should re-train your front desk staff and what they can and cannot say because now there is a promise that cannot be held up and it created a huge mess ! Very disappointed and recommend if you decide to get anything done here yes the doctors are nice and hygienists are great but,make sure all your ducks are in a row because they wont follow up until its bill time and you are in a bind with a bill you hadn't planned for. I would strongly recommend Marconi Dental Group. For the last few years I have experienced mild sleep apnea. I went through two sleep studies with Kaiser Medical. The sleep apnea made me wake up in the morning feeling lethargic and requiring a nap in the afternoon to function. It was tough getting the diagnosis as during the sleep studies I had trouble sleeping being hooked up to the machines to monitor my sleep patterns. I tried a CPAP machine and again found it was a less than ideal solution as: 1) I had trouble sleeping with the hoses, wires, mask, etc. and 2) I travel a lot for work so to have all of the extra equipment associated with a CPAP device was a challenge. I then read a short article about an oral appliance being offered by the Marconi Dental Group. I recalled Kaiser discussing this but they did not offer it. I decided to go in for a consultation with Dr. Ashkan Alizadeh. Dr. Alizadeh is extremely knowledgeable and has used this treatment in his own life. While the treatment was not covered by my dental or medical insurance, I paid for it out of pocket. I felt that the investment was worth it for my health (and so my wife could hopefully not have to hear me snore). What a great investment and option this turned out to be. It does take a bit of time to get used to it. It is like a retainer or thick mouth guard you wear while you sleep. It pushes your jaw slightly forward to keep your airway open at night while you sleep. But within a week I was used to it, I had stopped snoring, I wake up feeling refreshed, and I was able to cut out a nap in the afternoon. This works! I can travel with this easily as it fits I a small case like that used to store a retainer or mouth guard. I am surprised insurance companies do not cover this or advocate it as like they do the much more expensive and cumbersome CPAP machines. This treatment has my highest recommendation if you have mild to moderate sleep apnea. You, your health, and the serenity of your bed partner are worth the investment. Dr. Ashkan Alizadeh and the whole staff at Marconi Dental are great people, friendly, professional, knowledgeable about many aspects of dentistry, and can provide a number of services from cosmetic dentistry to solutions for medical issues (TMJ disorder, sleep apnea, etc.). I have switched my normal dental maintenance services to Marconi Dental after being so impressed with them. read more

This was the most high-tech dental office I have ever been too. The service was great. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. I even got a full tour as a new client which went through everything on how they treat the water in the building and equipment sterilization to all the services they provide in the office. The exam I received was the most extensive exam I have ever received and I found out I had small issues I wasn't even aware of. I have some old fillings that were done when I was a kid and it's good to know that it's time to get them replaced so I don't have any issues in the future. First time patient today. After many many years of dentist that I cannot trust in my gut I believe I have found what I've been looking for. I am hearing impaired and I let the office know early on even before I was a patient that the best way for me to communicate is via email and text message and so that is how we've communicated. My visit today spot on appointment right on time x-rays exam and met Dr.Fisher. dr. Fisher, the dental hygienist Mariam were all absolutely wonderful. Also with previous dentist they weren't open on Fridays which is the best day really for me with my work to make appointments this office does have Saturday appointments and then they have appointments till late in the evening so very accommodating with my schedule. This is the first time going to the dentist where I wasn't referred I actually reviewed yelp and I saw this Marconi dental right by where I lived and took a shot and could not be more happy with the visit today. read more

I wanted to write a quick little update because my experience at Marconi just keeps getting better and better. I had a coupes consultations with different doctors about helping improve my smile. I actually have never had issue with my smile. I chipped half of my front tooth as a child and have had it re-repaired twice since. I did not have a bad smile but my repair work was still chipping getting a veneer was the next option. I did not want to get just one so I had one strange tooth since it was my very first front tooth. I opted to just get my two front teeth done. Dr A did not press me to get 4 or more done like other doctors have done. Honestly I was a little nervous that I would have GIANT front teeth. I should have never watch that episode of Snooki and J-Wow when Snooki got those crazy veneers and then she has a lisp. Fast forward to the process.... we took impressions and color matched. When the two new teeth came in Dr A was not happy with the color. He felt it was too yellow and sent them back for updating.... TALK ABOUT SERVICE! He had MY best interest in mind. Seriously... He was not on a time schedule that meet his needs.... he was making sure I was happy and did what he knew was best for me. Now here I sit AMAZED at how much I wished i would have done this sooner. It is not like I feel like this new women or anything but I really do love my smile. I loved my smile before but I do keep looking at my teeth and am MORE THAN happy with them. Dr. Saleh is the best!!! She had been recommended to me by several people, so I scheduled my young son with her to be evaluated for the Healthy Start appliance program. We traveled from over an hour away due to her great reputation and knowledge of sleep disorder breathing. Dr. Saleh is very educated and provided me with very helpful and insightful information. We moved forward with treatment (an appliance for him to wear at night), and I'm so thankful that we found her. She has a great personality, genuinely cared about my sons needs, and was very transparent about her recommendations. Not to mention, my 4yo son absolutely adores her!!! She was so kind and explained the entire process to him in a way that caught his attention. He's so excited about his crocodile mouthpiece holder and sticker chart. He even crawled up on her lap and gave her a hug before we left. He's definitely in good hands! The office is exquisite, high tech, and a very clean environment. I loved the pictures in the hallway of their community involvement, and the fact that you could openly see their sterilization process/lab.
