Me and a group of friends went to this location for a meal before a showing of the play we are in. We order the pizza, a simple sausage and cheese, and we expect to have enough time to eat before our call time. It took them an hour to make this, and then some. We nearly missed our call time, and for all the stress we went through to get this pizza, it was mediocre at best. A nice lady working there gave us a free extra large pepperoni, which I appreciate, but nevertheless this is complete bullshit. read more

Why put in options for how you want your pizza if nobody pays any attention to them. Ordered well done, square cut got cheese that was barely melted and regular cut & cold. I always order delivery from this location and I've never had an issue. The food is always hot, filling, and taste great. This is my go to for the days that I don't know what I want or if I know I won't be able to cook for a day or 2. The delivery drivers are always on time, respectful of property, and always greet me. The cinnasquares and the works pizza are my favs. I really wish I could just order cinnasquares and have them delivered, but it doesn't meet the delivery minimum . I've tried their salads and wings, both are just as good as the pizza and cinnasquares. I can honestly say, I have never had a bad experience. We have great customer service from the delivery drivers, their app is easy to navigate, and they have specials all the time. In that case, Marco's meets my expectations for 5 twinkling suns as follows: Courtesy and respect given when the order was called in. Knowledge of the products when asked about items. Accuracy when estimating the completion time when order would be ready (I found it being boxed as I arrived exactly at the projected moment). Efficiency with the payment process. And lastly and of great importance, the thin crust pepperoni I ordered was excellent with perfect crunch, cheese, sauce and meat proportions. Oh yeah! He said "10 minutes" & it was. Hand-tossed crust was light & possibly the best I've had. Ingredients were larger than the usual tiny processed bits. Sauce & cheese just right. I have been waiting quite a while for this store to open and I love it. I really like the remodel. It's hard to believe this is the old rundown dairy queen. The pizza is very good quality. The cheese and sauce is spot on and they have two different doughs, hand tossed and thin. The sausage is huge and not too much fennel. The bacon pieces are decent size too. Pepperoni is pepperoni. They do deliver. There are lunch specials with a small pizza or sandwiches. I really like that there are napkins on the tables and the napkin holders are designed to get your pie on top of it where it's out of the way. The takeout boxes are designed well and display Marco's branding. Even the cups and napkins have the name. What really makes it great is Tom the manager. You notice the great service as soon as you enter and are greeted with a warm welcome. No customer is ignored. You won't make it to the counter without being acknowledged. He really loves the work he does and the product he makes. Each member of the team knows their job and are experts at it. Yes I said team. I would be willing to bet that they brought in workers from another store to get started. There is no way that brand new hires can run a restaurant so smoothly. Tom is a real leader. I think as long as he's here, quality will be in check. I want to try thin crust next. 7/15/16 I've been here 7 or 8 times now and I still love it. They have a 99 health score. Pizza toppings are generous but they really pile it on the subs. I've seen so many start up restaurants where everyone's excited and glad to be at work but two weeks later they hate working and do a lousy job. That hasn't happened at Marco's. We had 2 pizzas delivered tonight along with a chef salad. I'm a fan! While it's not NY-style pizza (what I grew up eating....and...as I've said before....I'm a self-proclaimed pizza snob)...it's still really good. Ingredients are fresh and clearly high-quality. One pizza was plain cheese; the other was sausage and pepperoni. I had the plain cheese and really enjoyed dinner. Chef salad was well received, too. This is my Memphis/Bartlett family's favorite pizza place these days. One of them was very excited to tell me about the drive-through! (That's unique to most pizza places...). Good stuff. read more

It's OK pizza, but don't even think about reheating leftovers. It will taste and have the mouthfeel of a layer of raw dough. I tried reheating it the way I usually do pizza, then tried an extra 20 minutes in the oven to try to dry i out some. Didn't work. Still had the mouthfeel of a layer of raw dough. Sorry Marco's. I tried. Maybe try some olive oil between the sauce and the shell? Had to throw away the leftovers, and I'm one who loves leftover pizza for breakfast. read more
