They are also BYOB! You can bring in wine or liquor. You can bring your own glasses or they lend you glasses, what a cool place. The people that work here are so nice. The food is delicious, the people are very nice and welcoming. It's BYOB without a cork fee!! We had leftovers and packed the leftovers up and let me say the leftovers tasted delicious on warm up, I highly recommend Slice City Pizz

Love the pizza at Slice City! I'm a bit skeptical of reviewing a pizza joint after the first visit…read more Second visit confirms it was not a fluke. We had our first visit in March 2026 on a trip to the DFW area. We were actually next door at Liquor Library for awhile and the store clerk highly recommended Slice City. It got even better when we learned that Slice City is BYOB for wine and beer! It's true and with no corkage charged. They even supplied the wine glasses. We ordered a large Meat Lover's pizza and it was excellent- great quality ingredients and a nice, light and chewy crust. You know it's good if you reheat the leftovers and still feel the same. Second visit, we brought our adult son and ordered the Meat Lover's as well as the White Ricotta and Pepperoni pizza. Fantastic! Of course we also brought a bottle of wine. The space is not large, but it feels homey and they have a large television which was great for catching a few innings of baseball. The staff is very friendly and the food comes out relatively quick for fresh baked pizza. I wish we had a local neighborhood pizza place like Slice City. Looking forward to coming back!

There's an atrium-looking room which looked like a private party room, but it was part of the bar area and it has no roof so it's hot when it's hot and cold when it's cold. On the way to the restrooms, there's more of a private seating area where they seat larger parties. Our server was actually the head bartender, Maxwell. He was awesome! He recommended great drinks for us and he gave a little background on the menu because this was our first time there. The pizza crust is made from 300 year old sourdough starter! It says it on their box so it must be true! But seriously, it's gut healthy. I didn't feel heavy after the meal. Our party hadn't eaten for about 7 hours so our eyes were incredibly hungry. We ended up ordering the burrata and the watermelon salad. Both of which were delectable. We also ordered the truffle cheesesteak to share between all four of us. It was good. I personally didn't taste the truffle in it, but overall the meat was tender and the provolone was oozing from the cheesesteak. The caramelized onions took it over the top for me. Then came our two pies. We chose the ones that had the little greater than signs on the menu. I was assuming that's what they were known for. Hot pepperoni and the prosciutto. Hot pepperoni was not too spicy, which I liked because when something is too spicy, all you taste is the spice. This gave a bit of kick, while maintaining the taste of the pepperoni. I think my favorite out of the two was the prosciutto. It had every flavor and texture that I was looking for. It was sweet from the balsamic, savory from the prosciutto, had a bit of bitterness and the crunch from the arugula. It was crunchy and soft at the same time lol. They have dipping sauces too, friends! Goat cheese fondue was my favorite. Planning to come here again to try their brunch menu, but only if Maxwell is working!

Stopped in for drinks and a pizza to go. I had a blueberry smash and a dirty martini (though they…read moreforgot the olives!), and both drinks were enjoyable. We ordered a gluten-free Margherita pizza to take home, and it was delicious. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, which made for a relaxed experience. One thing to note: there are doors on the side designated for takeout, but we initially tried the front door because we didn't realize it was an actual entrance. The front doors were also a bit difficult to open, which added to the confusion. Service was great - love the smiles and the energy. Overall, great gluten-free pizza, tasty drinks, and a quiet atmosphere. We'd definitely come back.

Highly recommend Olivella's for dine-in or takeout…read more Salads are hyper-fresh and creative (yet not super complicated). Pizza is prepared in two styles - Neapolitan (thin and chewy) and Roman (thin and crispy). Iced tea was delightful. Wine options are a bit overwhelming, so ask your server for recommendations. Decor is warm, eclectic (hostess station is an antique desk, love it!), and welcoming. The restaurant isn't huge, thereby adding to its welcoming vibe. There are small tables along with bar-top seating, giving you options if you're alone or with a group. Shoutout to the staff who are supremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the restaurant. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and the work that goes into each dish. TIP: Parking on Camp Bowie is limited, but Olivella's has a private lot behind the building (just carefully read the signs to make sure you're parked in the correct spaces). Enjoy!
