I had one of the worst food and customer service experiences I've had in a long time at Marco's Pizza Boerne. I picked up my order and didn't realize how bad it was until I got home. The pizza dough was completely raw, the cheese looked off and unappetizing, and the cheesy bread was clearly undercooked and hadn't even risen properly. It was honestly inedible. When I called the store, it somehow got worse. The employee immediately voided the transaction without any real apology or attempt to make things right. When I asked about leaving feedback, I was brushed off and told I could "go online and leave reviews if I really wanted to." Then he casually admitted they already knew there was an issue with the dough because ingredients were left out the day before. So they knowingly sold food that wasn't prepared correctly. When I questioned why they would serve customers food they knew was bad, he got defensive and rude, saying he wasn't the one who made it and that I was the fourth person to call. Instead of taking responsibility, he had an attitude, refused to give his name when asked, and hung up on me. Selling food you know is defective is bad enough. Treating customers like this when they call about it is unacceptable. I will not be coming back, and I'd strongly recommend others think twice before ordering from this location. read more

Employee or manager "Perez" is absolutely horrible and pretended the store never recieved my order but then proceeded to say he started closing everything up and putting food away 40 mins before closing, so they did get my order but the manager chose not to make it and then acted like he never saw it! Do not order from the website for delivery.... It takes you to Door Dash and from there you can order a pizza with "the works" but unbeknownst to me that means you have to select each ingredient that one would assume should come already be on the pizza called "the works" We received crust and no ingredients except sauce and mushrooms. The first person I talked to when I called, because I thought there was some kind of mistake, said they thought my order was "funny" and he laughed. We ended up with 3 pizzas that were literally crust and tomato sauce with some canned mushrooms! It was ridiculous. I talked to the manager who said I was playing victim and hung up on me. Honestly....complicated. I wanna give them 1 star but their pizza is too good. In my humble opinion, best pizza in Boerne, try the Philly. My favorite pizza ever. However, they do a nice job counteracting this with some of the most service you've ever seen. Just absolutely horrible, cold, rude, slow, unwilling to cooperate, and just awful to have any interaction with. Honestly have never dealt with a nice person here, even when placing large orders. Would give 10 stars for every single food item on their menu tho....feels like you're talking to New Yorkers. You have to try their pizza at some point tho. read more

My husband ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza for us tonight and waited 20 minutes for an old pizza. We have never had issues like this before at the Marcos's in SA but this one in Boerne had lost our business. The pizza was dry, had no toppings on several pieces, and tasted old as if was left from hours before and they threw some mushrooms on it. The crust was separated and like rubber on the inside and pieces were torn. Not sure why he waited 20 minutes for something so inedible like this. I'm so disappointed. Terrible customer service! Tried to place a delivery order over the phone. Manager started off rude then handed the phone to a worker. I proceeded to ask what specials they had and she said what are you wanting. Her tone of voice and attitude were horrible. After asking to speak to the manager again she told me he was busy. Then I said well you are being rude and that her tone was disrespectful. After I said that she hung up. Went in to speak to the manager in person and his excuse was that they were busy. The way things are I'm this world you would think people would be better human beings. Never coming back. It's a shame. read more

I ordered three large pizzas for pickup from Marco's in Boerne using the Yelp/GrubHub link. I arrived just in time to pick up the pizzas for a church meeting. Admittedly, I had no time to spare. When I arrived, I gave them my name and they couldn't find my order!! Then, they asked how I ordered it and I explained that I clicked on the link on Yelp which said fulfilled by GrubHub. The girls at the counter said they don't get orders from Yelp. I even showed them the email confirmation from Yelp (fulfilled by GrubHub). They messed around for a little bit and then said their GrubHub ordering system was down! By this point, I was already late and Marco's did not have any ready made pizza to sell me, so no pizza for my church meeting! This is the second time there have been errors with Marco's. The first time they delivered our pizza to the wrong house! They made good on that snafu and gave us a free pizza which we enjoyed. read more

Consistently delicious and fresh. Pizza is always delivered quickly and on time, which even on a busy Saturday night the delivery times are fairly quick. I've waited to post a review just in case they came up short, but time after time they have met our expectations. We live about 15 min from this location so I keep expecting that to pose an issue with delivery times or pizza being delivered luke warm - but it never is. Delivery drivers are always friendly. Pizza is alway hot. Salads are super fresh - which you wouldn't necessarily expect from a pizza place. They are delicious. It's so refreshing to come across a pizza delivery place that does it right. By far, the BEST pizza in Boerne! They've been open less than a week, so we were expecting they'd be in the "working out the bugs" stage, but NOPE! They're working like a well-oiled machine, cranking out their yummy offerings. It was refreshing to call a pizza joint in town and actually have a very kind, pleasant young lady in the Boerne location pick up the phone and helpfully answer our questions. No call center located in Timbuktu like other chains! While my daughter waited in her car for curbside service (didn't take very long), she noticed 4 different delivery vehicles' drivers busily buzzing in and out with their precious culinary delights! We'll give delivery a go next time. We each ordered a medium Pepperoni Magnifico pizza--hers on the "lite" crust, mine on the original crust with banana peppers. We were surprised to see how much pepperoni was on them--more than what we pay extra for "double pepperoni" from the other pizza joints in town. Both of us loved our choices.
