I really wanted to like this restaurant. We ordered the house salad, the Caesar salad, an Ultimate and a meat lovers pizza with a tea and a bottle water since they served tap. Our bill was almost $80. When we got our salads there was hardly any dressing on the salads. We immediately asked for more dressing for each salad. The waitress came back empty handed and said that each additional dressing was $1.50. Really? We said no thank you. If the salads had been made properly in the first place there wouldn't have been a need for additional salad dressing. Then there were the pizzas. My husband said his meat lover's pizza was fine but the crust on my Ultimate was so tough it hurt my teeth to chew it. It even tasted bland to me, like the crust was completely void of any flavor. Wonderful, relaxing and delicious end to a busy prom evening. After a frenzied afternoon of getting my niece and her friends ready for prom, my sister and I drop them off at their restaurant and stopped in at Tre Pizzeria to have some much-needed quiet time for ourselves to refuel before we head to pick them back up. I pulled up my trusty Yelp app and found them nearby and I'm so happy that we stopped in. The restaurant wasn't too packed or busy, the location was perfect and the ambience was super cute and had a chill vibe. We started our meal with some much needed cocktails, I ordered the basil mojito and my sister opted for a cold blue moon. As a starter we got the caccio'e pepe deviled eggs, drizzled in truffle oil and topped with pecorino Romano cheese and fresh cracked black pepper. These were absolutely delicious and we quickly devoured them. For the main we decided on the Italian meatball and wild mushroom pizza, they are made in a cast iron pan and so I couldn't wait to try it. The meatballs were tender and super flavorful and because the pie is cooked in a cast iron it made the crispiest crust. As far as the wild mushrooms, they really just look like basic button mushrooms, maybe baby portabellas but it didn't seem like there were any other varieties present. My sister and I came here for some much-needed relaxation and a drink while we waited for my daughter and her group of friends to have their prom dinner five minutes away. It wasn't very busy, we were able to get a good table inside, but close enough to the edge of the patio that we could feel the wonderful evening breeze. We each ordered a drink and shared the deviled eggs, which were absolutely to die for! I've never had such a delicious deviled egg, I regret not going back and ordering a second one. We also ordered a simple pizza, absolutely perfect! The crust was nice and thin, and the toppings were evenly distributed. The dining area is nice and spaced out so you don't feel like you're sitting on top of people, it was a very nice relaxing atmosphere, at least at the time that we were there. We came here on a Saturday around 1:30. There was some kind of motorcycle or exotic car show at the plaza across the street, but parking wasn't bad. There is a decent amount of street parking all around and a few small parking lots. There is some outside seating and a couple of indoor dining rooms. There was a small line that went pretty quick and you order at the counter. At the counter, you grab your own ice water, utensils, and napkins. This new restaurant downtown is a great add to the Boerne scene. We have done take out from here twice and have been extremely happy with each dish we've ordered. The menu is unique and the dishes are full of flavor! In terms of service, both times we've ordered, our food was ready within a reasonable amount of time, 10-15 min, and the servers/wait staff were pleasant and respectful. The restaurant didn't change the great ambiance from the previous owner, and by leaving the garage style doors, the venue really opens up onto Main Street, giving it a 1950's auto worker garage feel in a great way. Bottom line, try the pasta dishes, especially the bolognese or the roasted chicken orecchiette, and don't walk away without ordering the grilled goat cheese sandwich. What you have going on at Tre Pizzeria is some of the worst pizza I've had anywhere, from the East Coast to the West Coast, even up into Canada. The pricing is also hard to justify for what's being served. After living in Boerne for over 12 years, I was genuinely hoping this place would finally deliver a great pie for the community. Tre Pizzeria in Boerne, Mr. Dady's recent venture, is by far his most casual dining endeavor. The counter service format is complimented by a friendly and helpful staff. The pasta is tasty, and reminds you of other Dady dishes. Unfortunately, the pizza was forgettable. Akin to flatbread, the red sauce lacked flavor, and the cheese added little to the taste. I was not foolish enough to brave the congested streets of Boerne whilst the small town was besieged by international interlopers of the eclipse-gazing variety, so I waited a week for Boerne to return to some sense of normalcy. Having been a fan of Tre Trattoria on Broadway back in the day, I knew more or less what to expect: house-made mozzarella cheese, fresh pastas, an assortment of antipasti, and Chef Dady's signature cast iron-griddled flatbread pizzas. I also knew in advance that I would love everything on the menu. Tre Pizzeria serves as a more casual extension of Tre Trattoria's culinary vision, offering a vibrant, open-air atmosphere perfect for a relaxed yet delightful experience. I began with the burrata with pear mostarda. The creamy burrata, a fresh Italian cheese with a soft center, melted in my mouth. The accompanying pear mostarda, a sweet and tangy Italian condiment of candied fruit, was a delightful counterpoint, creating an explosion of flavors with every bite. This appetizer is a testament to Dady's commitment to crafting dishes that are simple, plated beautifully, and bursting with flavor. The star of the show, however, is undoubtedly the pizzas. Tre Pizzeria specializes in cast iron-griddled flatbread pizzas, resulting in a unique crust that is both crispy and slightly chewy. The "Extra Fancy" flatbread is a must-try. This pizza is a symphony of flavors, featuring paper-thin slices of Italian "salumi" (cured meats), homemade mozzarella, roasted red onions, mushrooms, and banana peppers for a touch of acid. The magic lies in the cast iron griddle. This cooking method imbues the pies with a smoky flavor and cracker-crisp crust unlike any other pizza I've had in San Antonio. Chef Dady's signature dessert, the decadent Nutella X3, is another holdover from Tre Trattoria. I'm glad he brought this dessert over to Tre Pizzeria, as it's been a favorite of mine for over a decade. It's essentially a dense Nutella tart coated in Nutella fudge and a generous scoop of Nutella mousse. With this review, I believe I've used the word "Nutella" more times in a single paragraph than anyone in the history of the written word. Bravo to me! While the food shines at Tre Pizzeria, a misstep occurred with the service. The initial runner brought my entree sans napkins and silverware, requiring a request for these basic necessities. Similarly, the dessert arrived without a fresh fork, with the suggestion to simply reuse the one from my burrata course. I realize the staff are new, but no diner should ever have to request fresh silverware between courses. I overheard several other patrons asking for silverware and napkins, so mine was not an isolated incident. Despite the service issues -- which I would expect management to address immediately should they read this review -- Tre Pizzeria is a welcome addition to Boerne, a town fast becoming a culinary mecca. The combination of Chef Dady's culinary vision, fresh ingredients, and unique cast iron-griddled pizzas makes it a worthy destination. P.S. The dude mentioned several Times to us and other about how their flatbed pizza was crispy. Really?? Ours folding like a wet noodle and have no flavor. I found this place a little over a year ago and I don't think I have ever seen fresher ingredients. The staff here is so kind and attentive and the location is perfect right in the middle of old town boerne great people watch spot. The vibe is super indie and calm and the menu has so many options but my favorite has to be the goat cheese grilled cheese. Pretty easily the best pizza in Boerne. Had to try the Cacio e Pepe deviled eggs because when am I ever going to come across those again...very unique and delicious. I've had pretty much every pizza on the menu and there doesn't seem to be a bad choice, but can't stop going back to the Bianca. Wifey and I ate here on a weekend. This is a new spot in downtown Boerne. Parking is on the street or nearby. The facility has a somewhat industrial feel to it. You order at the counter and sit down and they bring the food to you. The atmosphere is relaxed. The staff are friendly. The menu is limited and focused, the emphasis, of course, is on pizza. Our pizza was good fresh and hot. However, the crust needs a little more char to give it character, and the Italian peppers were too spicy and detracted from rather than enhanced the flavor overall. The Caesar salad was piled high and was better than the pizza. We will come back, hoping that they can perfect the crust on the pizza. read more

The food is tasteful and good portions. For the price of the food & wine I don't think I should order at the counter and carry my own utensils, water, coasters, spice jars etc to the table. Its semi- alfresco, which is lovely however we found ourselves swatting flies the entire time. I recommend fly fans for each table when the garage doors are up and open. Had I written this after the first visit, it would have been 5 stars. It was all VERY good. The second time we went, the crust was like trying to eat a brick. Still tasted fine. It was chewy pizza and rock hard crusts. The third time it tasted like someone dropped an entire shaker of salt all over the pizza! If they can get ANY consistency to their kitchen, it will be a very good pizza place for Boerne. I didn't say GREAT, but it'll be good if you don't wanna go into San Antonio Now their appetizer, Bufala Di Burrata, it's fresh Mozzarella, basil oil, and a pear jelly stuff with toast. Not impressed. I read the glowing reviews here and decided to give it a shot. OK, I expected to pay the "Boerne tax". Everything is jacked up here. But I also expected to leave satisfied. The process of ordering is much like the burger place that was here before. You walk to the counter, order and pay, then sit and wait for your meal. No problem with the seating. It is also much like the burger place, open to the street. Today I had the lasagna, which was a weekend special. No bread, nothing else accompanied the very small but tasty square. I was very surprised to hear them say it was family style so they encouraged to share. That told me the portions were good size. That was not the case and while it was tasty it was pricey with not much chicken added to the pasta. The pizza was also tasty but the dough was very hard and not very easy to eat.
