Very poor customer service, took 40 mins just to place a order . Shouldnt be that hard to order no matter what time of the day.

Placed a mobile order for two medium pizzas and wings. Arrived to pick up the order and the cashier was on her phone. I gave her my name, she called me someone else twice. She retrieved my order, while still texting/swiping on her phone, handed the order to me. I requested cheese and peppers, got all the way home opened the boxes, and there was only one pizza...the other box was empty. I drove back to the location, asked to speak to the manager, & explained what happened. He said he would make the one pizza over and offered me a soda while I wait. I told him that I didn't want a soda, he offered tea/water. I told him that I didn't want only "one" hot pizza. I should have my entire order made over and I should have something to drink while I have to wait for the order to be remained. It however he said he could only remake the order and not offer me the beverage as well meet the beverage as well. I spent more money in gas to come back to have my order corrected than the cost of the beverage. My time is priceless. When ordering from this location check the order before leaving. Now that I have been to Marco's a few time I think I can give a review. I probably would have rated 3.5 but 4 will do. I originally was excited about this place because I usually eat a low carb diet so the crustless pizza (pizza in a bowl) is perfect for that. I have ordered that a few times and most times they are a hit but I have had a time where they put so little sauce and made the bowl so low that the cheese was stuck to the container (reason I took off points) however thats a greta dish if you are gluten-free or want to watch your carb intake. I have also had the traditional pizza and it was good enough and the wings are ok too. Overall I would say go to this place if you are in the area and want a place that isn't the normal chain places we have seen for years. However, I wouldn't go out my way for it. read more

Update: received a call from the owner the day after the incident and I stand corrected, it's not a black owned business. She apologized, told me the manager was wrong and offered me a free dish and gave me a full credit for my order. I have yet to redeem the credit but I do plan on it. Tonight was our third order in about a months time, once again they did not disappoint, they are quick and accurate, between tracking that is super accurate where they are, and updates as everything very polite drivers / delivery people, and great food, we have had subs, chicken bites, several different chicken dishes (boneless bites, wings) and the sauces are great. Our only problem was a forgotten sauce and in 15 minutes they were back with the sauce even though we told them they could credit us for a later purchase. on january 6,2024 entered the pizza place with very loud rap music the very nasty explicit kind. no one in the front to take my order till the pizza maker came out . took my order then went back to make the pizza. staffing the restaurant is an important issue. someone needs to be hired for front of service. if not then maybe close the business. read more

I haven't had Marcos since I visited family in North Carolina and I always raved about their pizza. When I found out they built one near home I was thrilled. Tried the pizza today and Greek salad and I'm thrilled to say that first bite took me back! This is by far the greatest Carryout pizza I've ever had! I love it! Definitely coming back for more! when i visited marco's pizza in clinton, maryland, they had no idea what i was talking about when i asked about the magnifico pizza for $9.99 that has been advertised all over tv. their paper and in store menus have no prices on them. they can pretty much name their price at the counter when you pay. the pizza was delicious, and i got it for my birthday, but, the magnifico advertised "starting at $9.99" on tv cost me more than $20 for a large with only two toppings. their large is a medium at most places in the area, so it is not a good deal for the money. you can get just as good a pizza, at a lower price with more toppings at eddie's pizza down the street at the corner of woodyard and old alexandria ferry road. they don't hide their prices and make them up as they go along. read more

She seemed very nice and offered "a freebie" for my troubles. A day after that all, the manager of this location called to ensure that I had spoken to the regional manager. She didn't like the way our conversation went, and I surely didn't, but I don't recall her saying I'm sorry? Omg! I just left this pizza shop and when I tell yall the young girl with classes was that last encounter I want today. First of all her attitude was unprofessional and unwelcoming. She rang up my order and then told me I couldn't get a receipt because the machine was out of paper but when she called the manager over its discovered there is paper in it. I realized she was a little dumb but I asked for napkins and she point to napkins on the counter and says they are dirty and there's no more in the store. I just looked at her in disbelief and asked her to ask someone else. Yall I have to wait ten minutes for the manager to get off the phone and reach under the counter where the ding dong was stand and hand me napkins. Then when I told the manager what the issue was he looked stuck like he count even justify all the while the ding bat with no problem solving skills is laughing. I order pizza here every Friday for my kids and every time we get a carefully- made delicious pizza. It doesn't take all evening to get an order, and they don't skimp out toppings. I used to really like Marcos but lately the service has been terrible and the food not that good. Recently I sent my niece to pick up an order of two pizzas and wings. She did not realize they had given her not what i had ordered-- and I did not realize they had given my niece the wrong order until later. We were having a family get together and things were a little hacked. I did not realize until later they had completely screwed up my order. I called and spoke with a store manager and told her they had gotten my order completely wrong, in addition the wings were rubber and did not taste good and the pizzas were not good. The manager told me nothing could be done about this because sometime had passed since we picked up the order. She then told me I could return the pizza, but they would have charge me for another order-- who returns a pizza that has been opened and handled especially during a pandemic . I did not want another order just maybe a.credit back to account or something an apology. What I got was rude and I do not care attitude from the manager.
