3 topping pizza special today! Something about their cheese that makes their pizza stand out. I called this in for pickup and it was ready when I walked through the door! Ambiance as usual was moderately busy and the entire staff seemed ready for the evening rush. Yes, the cheese is what makes Jiffy's pizza special and this time the 3 ingredients were black olives, salami and mushrooms.

The pizza and sandwiches are good, always a good experience, no wait time when I call in.

This place use tobe my spot after football practice. Almost everyday when I was in high school. I just remember the food being so delicious . Now it doesn't taste the same but the staff is still very friendly. So it's worth it if you need a quick eat and your in the area.

Olde but goodie! We had pizza and steak and cheese with curly fries. Oh and rum cake. Nothing like hot food in the fly when out and about around Andrew's Airforce Base. Service was good, the cook was able to direct us to what was the best on the menu. They have games to play and vending machines to attract children and adults alike. Great place.

Had to throw the rest of the food in the trash.

I placed an order from Jiffy sub shop on Allentown Road, Maryland on July 23, 2024, and got home and unwrapped my sandwich and someone had already bit into it . It When I contacted the manager at Jiffy Sub show he was beyond rude and mocked my concerns of someone tampering with my food. This is a very serious health and safety violation. I do not know the healthy history/medical situation of the person who used their mouth & saliva and who knows what else was done to my food. I have been going to Jiffys for over 20 years and never had this experience until this new Mangement. I will NEVER go back to this nasty restaurant. Who knows what else is being done to consumers food.

I just want to preface this by saying this review was not written by AI. This is a heartfelt review…read morefrom a real human! My boyfriend and I went to Melina for the first time, and we both left with the exact same thought: this is the best restaurant we've ever been to. To begin, our server, Justin, was the absolute best server we've ever had. From the moment we sat down and were handed the menu, Justin immediately began to explain the starters and appetizers. He didn't just explain what was on the menu; he broke down the origins, the ingredients, where they were imported from, why they were named what they were, how they were cooked, and even how they would make us feel! We left that introduction knowing exactly what we wanted and why, with zero guessing. Neither of us is from Greece, yet we didn't feel like we had to look up a single thing on our phones to understand the menu. Everything we had was a perfect combination and an incredible experience. When it came to the main dishes, I chose the Portobello Mushrooms, which come with a hazelnut farro. Justin remembered that my boyfriend is allergic to nuts and thoughtfully had the farro served on the side so that my boyfriend could still try the rest of my plate safely. That level of care and thoughtfulness is something I've never encountered in all of our dates. Between the jokes, the perfect check-ins, his menu encyclopedia knowledge, and the overall vibes, my boyfriend and I left the restaurant overwhelmed with joy. Neither of us has ever left a restaurant review before, so that alone says a lot. Melina and Justin will definitely be a regular staple in our lives moving forward. Please go to this restaurant and get the Crab Croquettes (every single bite left me with a smile)!

Truly a lot of thought was put into the decor which I love to see for sure! Our table ordered the bread of the day with the spread and olives. The service was also great! 10/10 Very courteous and kind. Thank you!

I want to mention I was meeting friends and never did we once feel like we were rushed at all. They were very careful to watch and approach in a perfectly timed manner. The food was all very good. The fried zucchini was served not at all as I would expect. Very thin, but good. The tzatziki sauce had way too much garlic. The fried squid was excellent. Probably the best I've ever had. Extremely tender, and the coating was not hard at all. The scoldolia (garlic spread) served in the center had very little garlic in it. It should have a lot of garlic, unlike the tzatziki sauce. The octopus was served with a lovely, what I believe to be, lemony hummus. The Bronzino was excellent. The seafood souvlaki special was very good. It was served with rice and Greek style green beans. My friends had the loukumades (fried donuts). They said they were very good. I had the galotopoudiko which was good--could've been a little bigger for the price. Will definitely go back. My only comment is for the prices, I would expect a little nicer atmosphere. It's a little cold and baron. The atmosphere at Nostos is better. Sorry, but I always seem to forget to take pictures before I start eating the food.

Despite a light crowd and high staff, nobody else notices / cares. Then... only 2 out of 3 entrees arrive. This also goes unnoticed and unchecked. When we finally flag down another waiter, it only gets relayed to our server, who shows up another 4-5 minutes later, confused about the problem. Rather than acknowledging that the order was lost and suggesting an alternative, the server rushes the third dish (without any communication), and it arrives after the rest of my party has finished eating. The obviously newer/younger female server is then confused that I no longer want the dish and disappears again. At this point, we've asked for the check 3x times from 3 different people. Our request to hostess staff to speak to the manager was also ignored. When we finally get the bill, the never-delivered entree is taken off, but it's now 745-8 pm. When I finally relay this to the manager walking out the door, he then whines that he has been lied to! Come on, man, it's your team lying to you / covering up their mistakes, so you've got a big culture problem! Used to like this spot, but will never ever return. Ruined what was supposed to be a celebratory dinner by the incompetence and indifference. Somehow this still came out to a $183.03 dinner for 2 that I got to watch (2 entrees, 2 apps, 1 glass of wine, 1 bottle of sparkling water). In a rush, I left a 18% tip that should have been 5-10% at most. I've never been one to complain, but in this instance, a comp for only the meal wasn't delivered, which doesn't exactly inspire goodwill.

It's a small mart that specializes in middle eastern Mediterranean cuisine and ingredients. They place does not have seating inside, but plenty of seating outside. So plan on either take out or picnicking. They make the food right as you order so things are fresh. The part I really liked about this place was that the sauces were not overly salted - to increase shelf life - and the amount of oil/butter was not overly used to try to mask the ingredients. It's more on the "let the ingredients speak for itself" which I really dig. In the end, you don't feel heavy after the meal and you feel like you had a hearty and healthy meal. My favorite was the lamb shawarma. He toasts the outside pita and it gives it a nice crunch. The lamb is fresher than other places and he doesn't over season it to hide the lamb smell. Other places - if you notice - tends to use cumin a lot of mask the lamb smell. Not here though. The falafel sandwich was okay. It was colder than the lamb shawarma. But the falafels were made right there in front of you. I got the sujuk sandwich too (which is a type of sausage). It was a breakfast burrito basically. Our order took 20 mins to make and he makes it right when you order. So be prepared to stay there and peruse around. Some ingredients there were interesting. The one thing that caught my eye was a bottle of pomegranate molasses. He sells it close to 50% what Harris Teeter would charge and he has various brands of pomegranate molasses. I use pomegranate molasses to make grenadine for cocktails. Also has orange blossom and rose water (also both used for cocktails) I like this place and the guy is nice and sweet.

Kidding, because my friend and I were treated as if we were royalty, wearing nothing but the finest of finery. We were there just before noon on a Tuesday, not the busiest lunch of the day in every restaurant I know. But this place is enormous, so I imagine they could have accommodated two very easily, regardless. Everything was absolutely spotless, gleaming and shining - there are photos of dining there, but even in daylight, it had a beauty seen in the finest restaurants. The service was absolutely perfection - as a former wait person, I'm picky ;) Richard was there when we needed anything and left us alone to gab when we didn't. And of course, the food. The FOOD! Seriously, best Greek food I've had in years and years. I chose the lunch gyro pita, which was overflowing with tender, perfectly spiced gyro meat, with just the right balance of tomatos, onions and feta cheese. Coulda been more tzatziki but I am kind of an addict to that stuff, so it was probably just the right amount. ;) I also ordered the fasolakia (green beans simmered in tomato sauce, but that doesn't begin to explain the complex mix of flavors and textures!) So delicious, with the beans still crispy tender, and a hint of cinnamon which I dont' recall having in this dish before. It was amazing! They serve every platter, sandwich and pita with a very hefty serving of giant steak fries. They had a nice seasoning but were more like house fries. In other places, "Greek fries" had a drizzle of oil and crumbled feta so I wasn't expecting these. But yum! Good enough to bring some home, because the air fryer will make them terrific again. In all, I was so delighted and really wish this wasn't such an out of the way place from home. I definitely will come back, despite that, because there are so many dishes I want to try. As others mentioned, lots of free parking but here's a quick word of caution if you use GPS to get here. When you exit from MD100 onto Executive Park, it will tell you to take the first left but DON'T DO IT! That's the M&T Bank parking lot. Go just a tad bit farther and don't be surprised by having to look a little because it's so like a business park.

We sat outside and were happy that the patio area wasn't very hot and that the nice large umbrellas protected us from the sun and were lit up when it got dark. We started with Saganaki, which included pita. It was flambed table side and delicious, we all loved it. We also had Calamari, I don't eat it but husband and daughter really enjoyed it. For entrees, husband had the special (filet mignon w/crab cake and shrimp on top), that came with mash potatoes and veggies. The steak was good but undercooked, the crab cake was good. Daughter had the pasta, she didn't really love it. I had the lamb shank with orzo. I don't usually like lamb but it was very tender and didn't have the aftertaste that usually comes with lamb. The service was very good, waiter was very attentive, replenished waters often and made good suggestions. Although we liked the restaurant, we felt that as a Greek restaurant there should be more Greek styled pork, chicken dishes. We also felt that some items were overpriced, specialty dish was $75, rib eye was $68, lamb shank was $55, roasted chicken was $39, etc. We will not return for another dinner, but might consider going for lunch to get gyros and Saganaki.

Looking back, I probably should have left then, but I was hungry, so I stayed. Once seated, I asked for the crab dip, only to find out they no longer had it. I then ordered the lamb chops, which I had enjoyed during my previous two visits. This time, however, they came out extremely pink and undercooked. I was shocked. The waitress told me they "don't cook them well done," but offered to take them back and have them cooked a little longer. Unfortunately, when they returned, they were still pink/red and literally bleeding. The waitress then said she was going to get "Mama" from the back. I told her that wasn't necessary if the restaurant simply does not prepare lamb chops well done anymore. I was very disappointed and didn't realize things had changed over the last few months.
