I'm so glad I made a stop and decided to try this spot compared to another pizza joint that was a commercial brand up the street. I've always saw this place when I was in the area, but because I lived in VA never had the chance to stop. As we all know I was trying to get across that bridge asap to try and avoid the traffic. But now I live up the street basically I decided to give it a try and so glad I did. As the pictures shows it a really small establishment but don't let what they got going on in the kitchen to put you off. It is located next door to a liquor store if you want to go grab something while you wait for your food. I ended up getting a medium veggie pizza extra cheese with a side of pizza sauce and lemon pepper wings. When I tell you both were on point that is what it was the best wings I've ever had. I would have to say that the lemon pepper wasn't on the wings well enough. But that was ok I just added more when I got home. But they were cooked to perfection! Besides the service being super slow, this is one of the best pizzas I've had in this area. Their sauce is what got me hooked! So if you're trying to call in, you gotta be patient and may have to call back a few times because they are low staffed and busy, but other than that food is fire. He dang near ate the entire box! The specialty cheese blend is unique. The crust is fresh. Then onto the cheesteak. This is the BEST cheesesteak that I've had since I left the Philly area! He has go to be marinating his meat... pause... Definitely well seasoned. Specifically ordered a Pepperjack cheesesteak, with peppers, caramelized onions, and mushrooms with hot, crispy fries as an accompaniment. Well, this food is definitely worth the wait. I've been going to Eddie's for 8 years now. It's a great spot for a solid pizza. They load the ingredients on and have always been friendly - even offering to carry my pizza out to the car for me when I've had to come in with my little one when she was still in an infant seat. A friend suggested this hole in the wall carryout. Initially I judged the place off of the appearance. The decor is dated yet nostalgic. You walk in and go straight to the back and order at the counter. The menu was very simple. I didn't get any suggestions, so I just went with instinct. I ordered a cheesesteak and onion rings. The onion rings were greasy and delicious. I think they are hand battered. The cheesesteak was ok. The meat to bread ratio is a little off. But overall it was good. I have passed by Eddies for 15 years and I personally don't know why I never tried, until a tik toker said the steak and cheese was everything. Well finally got around to getting the steak and cheese and a slice of pepperoni pizza. For me, the steak and cheese is good, however, they didn't put everything on it I asked for, so I didn't get the full experience. The pizza good, just very very oily.. so had to dab the oil off before eating. I decided to give this spot a try as there are new people in the building. Staff is very friendly even though it is extremely busy. Pizza was excellent, crust is light and fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside, perfect. Pizza toppings were plentiful. Sauce was excellent. I had the singular misfortune of dining at Eddie's Pizza on a recent weekday. The sun was shining high, and after a vigorous morning of work, the small establishment had been recommended to me by a local as a "good bet." In this case, the house won. Two of my colleagues and I were greeted by a small dining room with warbled floors that pitched and yawed like a rusty trawler on rough seas. The wall was adorned with décor from the 1960s and 70s, most of which had not seen the cleansing touch of a dust rag since the turn of the millennium. We were the only people in the restaurant at the time, when the bell of the clock had only just tolled noon. A rather gruff man eventually greeted us from his post at the counter, behind a thin layer of plastic plexiglass. There was a duality to his countenance which told the story of a hard life and debts paid, while also informing one that this was a man who was unconcerned with customer opinions or Yelp reviews. I was a bit surprised when he wrote down on separate sheets our orders, which were for two slices of cheese, two of pepperoni, and a salad. We were the only people inside, and these were hardly tricky orders. Perhaps his attention to detail was acute. The grumbling in my belly let it be known to all that I was savoring the meal to come. Little did I know the long wait that lie ahead. The minutes passed from single to double digits, and soon, a full 20 minutes had passed before finally the food was brought out on a set of mismatched and overworked Corelle flatware. A grime-infused hand offered napkins, and the question of cutlery was proffered in a most gruff manner. My patience was betrayed by what I bit into. The thick, gooey dough of the pizza made me yearn for the relative gourmet slices I have, in my checkered past, obtained at a Sam's Club. Imagine eating a soggy loaf of leavened bread and you will know the sheer strife of a slice of Eddie's Pizza. I will admit that the cheese was relatively tolerable, much as a bunion is tolerable in that you might still walk. My colleague's pizza was covered with enough grease to comfortably lubricate a big block engine, and the grimace on his face assured me that I was not suffering alone. Strangely, I took comfort in that. It was by my fourth or fifth bite that I knew a long and perilous battle with the commode in my hotel room lie ahead for me that night. Eating this rubbery dough was not for the faint of heart, and I would be doing a disservice to all who read these words if I pretended if finished the first slice, much less addressed the second. My friends, I felt the presence of Jesus that afternoon, as He provided me with a chilled Dr. Pepper to wash things down with. I believe this liquid lined the walls of my stomach against the invading assault of undercooked dough and allowed me to survive, write this review, and see my family again. My bowels, like my faith, were indeed tested that evening, but I believe they are stronger now than ever before. I would advise friend or foe to avoid Eddie's Pizza at all costs. Good flavor and lots of toppings for the price...cheesecake is good as well! We got the supreme pizza (large) and would certainly get that again. I tried the 5 piece wings, and i believe it was fried/battered...not so much of a fan as I prefer my wings plain and oven baked. Love that there is a local business in the area that has good food. Below was my experience. Wanted pizza and I'm always open to trying something new. I've seen this place in passing and finally decided to check it out after the many deceiving good reviews it received. Like many have said it is a hole in the wall but those are usually hidden gems. I almost fell walking up the slope in the floor for starters (there should be a caution sign for the uneven floor). I ordered a cheese pizza, wings , and fried mushrooms. I waited about twenty minutes for my food which I'm not complaining since there were other people ahead of me. I get home and open up the food. It looks decent but the taste was another thing. I would have been better off getting the same items from my local freezer section. The wings were breaded and soggy. The mushrooms were the typical pre-breaded and frozen kind. The Pizza!!! When I go there the owner is usually there and he is a nice man , the the kitchen is visible and clean , so you can see where the food is being prepared. this makes me feel good too . Most of the people that come and go have seen each other and are friendly and usually speak to each other in passing .Conversation is nice and the food is very good. I love the lamb Gyro the brownie most of the drinks are natural and as I said the food is very very good ,. The restaurant area where you sit is very nice accommodative clean, nice music and Homie. I really like the restaurant though I've always had carry out. The reviews for eddies pizza are right on: Pros: plenty of parking, close to the highway, great prices, fresh ingredients, plenty of toppings, variety of entrees, food is very good simply put... Cons (but nothing negative): I called in to place my order but it took me a while to get through the phone lines so be patient, good food takes time so if you are in a rush I wouldn't go here, I came at the end of the day so a few of the tables were dirty from usage during the day. No bad things to say about eddies pizza. It's a pizza joint what more can you expect. The food is good, the service was friendly and the price was right. This was probably the worst cheesesteak sub, I've ever had in my life. I know I can't compare a Philly cheesesteak with other restaurants but it's hard not too. The service was good and the cashier was very friendly but the presentation was awful. My sandwich was falling out the package once I opened my bag. The sandwich was so soggy it was almost entirely uneatable. The meat was bulky and the mushrooms was just thrown in there, the lettuce was limp and the tomato's were oily. I gave 2 stars because the fries were really good and I may consider going back to try the pizza but I know plenty's other pizza places so there's really no need for me to reconsider. read more

The counters next to tables were full of dust and had an odd odor. Reminded me of my grandparents old house. The pizza was average and nothing to rave about. If you are looking for health food this is not the place. The food is huge portions and often greasy...and it is my favorite place in PG County! This is not a fast food pizza where they weight the cheese and toppings. Everything is heaped on, the customer is never short changed or left wishing they ordered extra toppings. The service is top notch, some people don't like the tee shirts they wear, but they can wear their halloween costumes as long as the subs, pizzas, and deserts stay good. Anytime I am meeting someone in Clinton I will bring them a sub or pizza. One time, prior to Covid, I was able to book a huge spaghetti dinner for my team at Eddies. The only thing on the menu I have found I do not like is the chicken wings. I have been a customer in excess of 20 years. The owner, Rich, is one of the friendliest most affable people I have ever met and a huge Ravens fan. In addition I have had the pleasure of meeting his two sons, both of whom are exceptional human beings. My wife, Cathy, and I both enjoy many items on the menu. Our first choice is the steak sub full of wonderful flavorful meat inside a premium bun. She frequently orders perfectly baked pizza. I am partial to the Reuben sandwich. An example of the special kind of human being Rich is....I often order brownies with nuts. I have been overweight for years. Occasionally, Rich will caution me not to buy too many of the brownies which he makes at his home. read more

Last week--when they simply never arrived with our order--was frustrating. When we finally reached them on the phone (after closing time), however, they were *deeply* apologetic, and promised to send our order for free some day this week. It was a very nice offer, but importantly also a very sincere apology. We took them up on the offer tonight, and were delighted with the results. Eddie's nails a good, solid pizza. The crust is strong enough to avoid sogginess, without being tough. The toppings, cheese, and sauce were good ingredients deployed well: just the right amount of sauce and cheese, onions are cooked but still have a hint of crunch, bacon chunks were meaty with crispy edges. And the whole pizza was nicely baked on the well-done side, with delicious browning on the cheese and crust.
