Hubby ordered some marcos pizza for tonight. I got a medium 1 topping pizza with pepperoni. Then my hubby got the calzone with meats and cheese. The medium pizza was perfectly baked and tasty. The sauce on it was a bit acidic from what I remember the taste be like. The calzone on the other hand was under cooked and dough-y. He stated the calzone was a bit cool on the inside. I know ordering on the app was a breeze but not sure how the delivery went. I would order again from this location though. read more

On 11/27/21 I decided to get a hamburger/ onion pizza and for the first time a meatball sub. The place was super busy. The order was ready in less then 10 minutes. Having been in the restaurant business as a General Manager and a District Manager I thought it was strange that my order came out as fast as it did. Now I only live 10 minutes away from this Marco's. Upon getting home We immediately sat down to eat. Expecting a nice hot pizza I was greatly disappointed. It was Old and COLD. The meatball sub....let's just say it was a Huge Mess. (See pictures) Now I called the restaurant to tell them how disappointed I was with everything. I asked for the General Manager and was told that there was none. I asked if any Managers were working. I was told yes and to hold on. A girl by the name of Amanda picked up and explained that there was no G.M. and that she was acting G.M. till a new G.M. Showed up in a couple weeks. I explained the situation and received No response from her except when I said I'd be calling Corporate. Her response at that time was *have a nice day* and then she hung up. NICE!!! read more

They say first impressions are the best, right? Welp, Marcos has an amazing first impression! After a long day of work and too tired to cook, pizza was the solution. Didn't want a normal chain pizza but didn't want to pick up so we ordered through a food delivery service. A large extra cheese and a large veggie with extra cheese. A lot of places skimp when you say extra cheese but Marcos shone on this!!! Both were such cheesy deliciousness and fresh!!! Even the crust was soft and yummy - no sauce required! 5 stars and two thumbs up for some really really good pizza! We will for sure be eating here again!!!! read more

We called our order in the guy that answered was very helpful and informative since it was our first time ordering from them. We had the thin crust deluxe he to my surprise because of the dinner rush said it would be ready in 15 minutes. It was ready and delicious. read more

First as we were walking in we heard for the kitchen area someone using the f word. Then the guy behind the counter seemed inpatient. We ordered the pizza are said it was dine in. We sat at table and heard more of the f word from the kitchen again. Our pizza was done, the counter guy calls our name and hands us a pizza in a box. What happened to table service? They have the metal trays for table service and the pizza holder stands on the table. That tells me there is regular table service. Overall it was a poor experience. Definitely not going back. After more than a year, I finally found a neighborhood pizza that I like after the horrible experience with Papa Johns (see my Deltona Papa John review). I tried this place a few times before posting this review and no issues. They have 2 medium pizza special which is reasonably price. Ordered the standard pepperoni pizza, and Hawaiian pizza. Both taste great, but the dough is great. Crusty outside which gives a good crunch and soft inside. Service is great. Both Pizzas were made within 15 minutes and since this a take out, they hand the pizza to you. Unlike papa johns, they leave the pizza on the rack. I will be a frequent customer read more

I should start by saying that I'm no expert on pizza. I don't have a basis for comparison like how it's done in New York or Chicago or even some "authentic" little place just a few miles away. No, I'm all about the franchise stuff - Papa John's, mostly. I like their sauce. When we got the Marco's flyer in the mail, I'd never heard the name. I didn't know it's been around awhile and is pretty highly rated. So when I suggested to my wife that we give it a try, I was going in with no preconceptions. I should also mention that I appreciate good customer service. Pleasant interaction with servers and other staff, for me, is part of what makes eating out a nice experience. I never expect perfection, and as long as the occasional error is corrected I would not leave a bad review of a restaurant that was otherwise fine. But let's talk about the food. We ordered a standard large pizza with the toppings we usually get from Papa John's. The first thing I noticed was how little sauce it had. That's not a criticism, as I assume it's just the way they make pizza. Who am I to judge? That one thing didn't detract from the pizza itself. Had we included tomatoes among the toppings we chose, I might not even have noticed. And the dearth of sauce was certainly no roadblock as far as my consumption was concerned. In fact, as I type this, I sense that I'm sitting a bit farther from my keyboard. So...pizza, very good. That's the bottom line. But here's the little thing that mandates a five-star review from yours truly. We noticed that our pizza came from the kitchen without one of the toppings we ordered: black olives. It was a simple mistake, and I suggested that just bringing us a few on the side would be fine. But no. The only acceptable solution, as far as the staff was concerned, would be to prepare an additional pizza correctly and give it to us free of charge. The pizza here is really good and cheesy. The dough taste fresh and the flavors of the sauce are yummy, not salty like some other places. Their salads are great, I am a huge salad fan, and they make every salad fresh to order. This is way better than pre packaged or pre made at other restaurants. This is a great spot for pizza. I got the lunch special a small with pepperoni and a drink. This was plenty of food for one person. The pizza was HOT which is great because it was fresh. You have to wait a little bit but certainly not like a sit down restaurant. My mom tried the Gluten-Free pizza and she loved it. She said it tasted just like a regular pizza. Hard to believe but my mom doesn't lie . There was only one employee but she was working fast and she was super sweet. She stated that there was a chance of cross-contamination which we really appreciate being told. Half the pizza places don't say anything in order to sell. Anywho, I also got the brownie and it is mad with ghirardelli chocolate. What?! It was so delicious but it was big. Too big for one person. Took all of me to not force feed myself that brownie. I thought at first Marcos was a good place for my husband as a second job. In Deltona they have a hard time keeping drivers they constantly quit. I don't know the reason but my husband was hired as a driver and he loved it. To make a long story short my husband got the flu bad and he missed 3 days at work and he called in every day. After the third day my husband called to get his schedule and was told he was let go for job abandonment. So did they want him coming to work with the flu infecting everyone and everyone's food. I think not. I was a mgr in the food industry and I know they aren't aloud to be near food when they are sick. My husband would even go in on his days off because he was covering drivers that either called out or quit. So a thumbs down for Marcos as to how well they take care of their employees. read more

After going to the movies, both me and my husband were STARVED afterwards! I didn't feel like going far, so I suggested Marco's. I noticed right away how clean the restaurant was inside. Emily, who took our order was super friendly. We ordered an extra large cheese pizza and a side garden salad for myself to eat there. They brought my salad 1st. I was super impressed with the salad. It was not skimpy at all and very fresh and very tasty. When they brought the pizza and set it down, I knew IMMEDIATELY that this was gonna be a real good pizza. And it was a REAL GOOD PIZZA!!!!! my friends and i came in around 8:45-8:50 ordered some food, PAID FOR IT and sat down in the empty lobby. as we were eating minding our business not bothering anyone one of the workers whose name i believe is matthew started talking shit to his other coworkers. from what i could hear he said the lobby closes at 9 because the restaurant closes at 11 but there is no sign anywhere and he failed to mention that to us before sitting down. instead, he was whispering to his coworkers without saying something to us personally. he then started cleaning the tables around us and said he "wasn't sure what was in the bottle" and "just grabbed the first one he could find" and was spraying it while our food was sitting open. we were not rowdy nor were we bothering anyone so this rude behavior needs to have consequences. read more
