Across the board, I have never been a dedicated fan of a Toledo Style Pizza. Except for the round vs square shape, they taste pretty much the same. That is not to say that they are bad but nothing to set themselves out from the rest of the pizzas offered locally. That said, I do have one coworker who orders Marco's Pizza at least once a week if not more. That said, they do have a hot sub that is to die for and it's called an Italiano. It's a sub with ham, salami, cheese, banana peppers (and they do have some kick to them), tomatoes and onion with dressing served hot out of the oven. If you order from the counter, be prepared to wait for approx 8 minutes but the wait is worth it. One of the best quick lunches you can have and the price is definitely right. I've had the Italiano at three different stores and all three were great so it's a safe bet for lunch read more

Absolutely terrible. They tell me the order will be ready 5-7 minutes. 7 minutes later and then they start the order. Their response? You can always cancel the order. There are MUCH BETTER PLACES for pizza, subs and/or wings. Do not recommend at all. read more

Placed an order at 5:07 for delivery, system showed estimated delivery time of 5:42. System showed my pizza was ready around 5:25 making me question whether I placed order for delivery. Around 5:50 order showed as on the way. I live about 4 miles away from store. At 6:07 I called the store and was told it was on the way. Called back at 6:24 the manager Chris got on the line saying had several orders come in, got busy only have 2 driver's tonight. I told him if not there in 10 minutes I was canceling order. Waited curbside for 30 minutes and finally got my pizza cold after going in the second time to find out why it hadn't been brought out.

When we first moved to Denver last year we ordered from here weekly until we were settled however tonight is the second time I've had my order canceled with no notice. When I finally called the store 10 minutes passed the estimated delivery time I was told they had to cancel the order because they had no drivers in the store and that their ovens were already off; this is 30 minutes before they close. The man on the phone did say they attempted to call me and I'm super tempted to screenshot my missed calls and post it because they definitely didn't call me. The first time they canceled it was the same story; no driver and sorry we can't do pick up because our ovens are off already. Super bummed because I was a big fan last year. Now that I'm heading out to pick up Dominos pizza instead I know we won't be going back. read more

We are a New England family and wanted other transplants in this area to know that Marcos pizza is the best pizza we have eaten since moving to NC more than 20 years ago. When we picked our $20 pizza up, the box was heavy... filled with 3 meats, sliced sausage, ham, pepperoni and bacon. Also, mushrooms, green peppers, onions and lots of cheese. I would say Marco's always has great food .. But when you order here after 5 pm it's trash food.. called and she called me a lier. Not even a manager on duty again!! I rarely give out 5 starts and I have to caveat, the 5 stars is for what this place is, a pizza chain, which means it's head and shoulders better than Pizza Hut, Domino's, Little Caesars, etc. The old-fashion pepperoni is insanely delicious. Their crust is thicker than I normally enjoy, but I ate every scrap of it, they put some seasoning on it that was great. I was also impressed with the Chef Salad, more than enough for two and a nice break so you don't go into a carb-coma from eating all the crust. I look forward to trying more items on the menu and updating my review in the future. read more

Pizza is maybe the most controversial topics when it comes to food. Is this the greatest greasy, cheese falling off NY pizza, or Chicago style deep dish that fills you up with one slice? No. This is just solid take out chain type pizza. Will it wow you? No. Will it disappoint? No. I will say that, like papa johns, you need to get the butter garlic sauce to drown your crust in to make that the best part of the pizza. The garlic bread is also solid until it gets cold, so eat it fast. If you are in a pizza mood and no one can settle on what kind, brand, style, etc, pick this place. It will satisfy most. read more

We are in the middle of a pandemic with high numbers in our county with less than 50% of the population vaccinated. I ordered online and went in to pick up my XL pizza and there were about 8 employees and no one wearing mask! XL pizza supposed to be cut in 12 pizzas and ours was cut in 8. Pizza pretty good otherwise but being immune compromised, we won't be going back there. read more

I wanted to be optimistic even with all these bad reviews but I'm sorry don't waste your time! Number one hygiene is non existent nobody was wearing gloves or masks. I understand the pizza dough handlers don't wear gloves but everyone else should wear them handling food especially when the orders are about to go out. Not only that but the girl doing the registers started helping put cheese on the pizza and didn't wash her hands in between. When we got home the pizza was super dry and not good . The cinnamon sticks were SUPERRRRR OILY!!! the chicken wasn't bad. That was the only highlight of the whole experience but def not worth going there again ! read more

I moved here six months ago. I've been to Marco's a few times. Their calzones are delicious and the pizzas are delicious. I've ordered in person and through the app the service is excellent both times all the times. The staff at Marcos are out here, they are all really chill really awesome people. They really do try to make your food right the way that you ask for it, so if something isn't quite the way that you thought it should be don't be a jack ass about it, just let somebody know. I personally have never had anything made in any way that I did not love it, but I also do order really basic pizzas and calzones and I'm also not trying to give any of the good people at Marcos any kind of hell. What can I say? The people at Marcos make some bomb ass pizza, there's literally nothing for me to be a Karen about. Special thanks to the whole staff for being just such hard workers. Had lunch with my wife here today. Never been at this location but gave it a try. Quay was behind the counter to serve us. He did a fine job. From here we watched two kitchen workers touching dough their pants, hair, aprons their faces and then the dough again. So we decided against the pizza on those grounds. We asked about salads and were told "sorry we are not serving salads" so we ordered wings and tenders. Probably should have just walked out. Tenders were really pressed chicken so more of a McNugget. The bone in wings on the other hand -although cooked crispy per my request- were the tiniest wings I have ever seen. There was 1 drum and 9 flaps. The smallest flap was the size of a quarter and there were a few at that size and the largest was still below average for a wing. Come on, how did you do that? I wish I took a picture of them. I've ordered multiple times via phone. There was some early confusion when they first opened and at that time, I couldn't order on-line for delivery ( site said I was out of delivery boundaries, but I'm only 1.2 miles away from store). After the initial start-up confusions, I found Marcos to be reliable. The pizzas are good, not spectacular like Chicago or New York, but good. I've ordered the salads; no complaints, but will not order the pizzas in a bowl(pizza ingredients in a cardboard carton without crust; not appetizing In appearance). I haven't tried the wings so can't comment and the cinnamon desserts are not bad. I can say the deliveries were prompt and the pizzas warm to hot. If I wanted a delivery pizza, I would definitely order from them again. I have recommended them to neighbors as well. read more

Amber is extremely rude. Hangs up phone on customers .. there's always some problem with Marcos in Denver only reason we still order from here is because it's our only delivery place. Always wrong orders always forgetting toppings etc. paid for a pizza on the phone then when driver arrived asked for payment. Sat outside for 10 minutes waiting on Amber to confirm payment. Turns out was only charged half the fee. Amber becomes impatient and tells driver to leave my house with the pizza. read more

If you like your green peppers and onions on your pizza raw, you found the right place. How could that happen? Are the ingredients added after the pizza is removed from the oven? The mushrooms are half cooked. The flavor is OK but hardly jaw dropping. The delivery person was very nice. read more
