We have been a few times. Love the thin crust pizza and they cut it in squares. They have always had our order ready when they said. We found the wings to be mediocre and just have not found a great wing spot yet. We have tried the Cheesy Bread and it was wonderful so we then thought the pepperoni bread would be twice as good. Oops lacking in the cheese. If they took their cheezy bread and added pepperoni it would be a huge hit. Very casual atmosphere not really our kind of sit down place and based on the to go orders thinking most feel the same. This place is going to remain on our pizza rotation. read more

Marco's Pizza is my Mom's favorite pizza chain because they don't use soy lecithin in their pizza recipes so I got her a gift certificate as one of her Hanukkah presents last year. We decided to make Monday a little less mundane and get Marco's Pizza tonight for dinner. So, we ordered takeout over the phone and used their pickup window to get gluten free pepperoni and veggie pizza treats tonight! The only mishap was being handed the wrong order the first time. Luckily we read the order slip sticking out of one of the boxes before we drove off. They seemed pretty busy though, taking maybe 10 minutes to come back to the pickup window. But I loved the pepperoni gluten free pizza, thin crisp tasty clean style. And Mom loved her veggie. This is a good go to pizza joint overall. read more

The pizza is good no doubt, but the last three times we've ordered it's been a fiasco. The first of the three times the guy bringing it to me dropped the whole order on the ground in front of me. He was quite apologetic and had the order remade. Then the app changes and stopped working so I call in orders 2 and 3. Two took what I thought was forever, but paled in comparison to order #3. Phoned it in for pickup and came at the 20 minutes that I was told to. Got there and was informed that they hadn't even begun to make it. 30 more minutes later I finally got pizza with the explanation that they were very busy. Has there been a management change? All these orders were over $50 each if I'm paying a premium price that should come with reasonable service. read more

I ordered food for the family. Everybody was happy food was delivered hot and delicious.

Years ago I'd left a very negative review for this restaurant. Between then and now they changed ownership and made some major positive changes. It went from constant issues to where, now, I rarely ever have a problem and if I do it's handled swiftly and professionally. The food is excellent and the service has been wonderful as well. Ordered a pizza for pickup at 4:50. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived at 5:20. They said they lost my order but would bring it right out to my car. I waited another 30 minutes in my car and then finally went back inside. I waited inside for 10 more minutes and then talked to the person at the register (it was the person who I talked to on the phone and the same person who said he would bring my pizza to the car). He said again they had lost my order. I was so mad that I told them to forget about it and left. Would not recommend!!! read more

Ordered a pizza and salad on 10/27/19. The pizza was ok. The amount of toppings was satisfactory. The salad contained a green and black insect. That was not listed as an ingredient. Here's a picture. I called to inform them of the insect and apparently I have a replacement salad next time I place an order. There was no offer to replace it immediately and nothing for the trouble. No refund was given. There was no apology. Enjoy. read more

They don't skimp on the toppings. The Pizzas are fresh and very good. Take out or pickup it's ready on time. They have good coupons and specials too. We recommend Marko's. We buy on Dayton Blvd but they do have more locations. read more

We used to love this place but recently they have been rude on the phone. One time we called in a order just to get there and they had no record that we ordered anything .they said we must've called the wrong store but their number is programmed in our phones and this is the only one we order from. It was the worst delivery experience and display of customer service I have ever known. First it took 15 minutes to order a large thin crust pizza. I stayed calm but my goodness. When I got my pizza the order was wrong. I was polite. They said they would send out a correct pizza. I never saw another pizza. I didn't get a refund. I basically paid for food I didn't eat. I've never been to a Marco's, but I was hungry and wanted pizza...and there aren't many restaurants near where I live. We ordered a classic crust sausage, mushroom, pepperoni, and onion pizza to go. It was quite different in flavor from other pizzas I've had, but I really enjoyed it. Manager was quite friendly, said he'd look at Yelp when I told him I like to post reviews here. Just had pizza from this location twice in the past month and both times it was soooo good! They currently have 2 medium one topping pizzas for $6.99 each. My husband and I had never tried Marcos before, but we are so happy a friend recommended it. It has a perfect crust and great sized toppings. Our favorite is the Italian sausage! The pizza here is definitely better than anything at Dominos, Pizza Hut, or Papa Johns although it's very similar in price. read more

I tried Marco's on a Saturday evening in July 2014 (around 7:30), and the place was busy! I would like to have given 3.5 stars, but the yummy chicken made me feel less grumpy and round up to 4. My fiancé and I chose to dine in, and after ordering Marco's version of a Hawaiian pie, we waited a little over 30 minutes for our pizza. Since it's a pizza place, there's not a lot of "service." The counter staff was knowledgeable about the house specials, but nobody checked up on us after we received our food or while we waited. There are far fewer toppings here than at the local legend down the road, Lupi's. Marco's offers standard toppings and some interesting house special combinations. There is a tv in the main dining room of the restaurant and a self-serve drink fountain. They are set to accommodate small numbers (2-4) or a few groups of larger numbers (6-8). There is a menu online and an Internet carry out or delivery order option, and those seemed to be processes very quickly. My assumption based on Saturday's observations is that those who click to order get fed the fastest. All in all this place was good. I doubt that, based on the wait to quality ratio we'll be giving up our Lupi's addiction any time soon, but I'm sure Marco's will be THE pizza place for quite a few Hixsoners once it gets established. read more

According to the shift manager there is no general manager he quit. The owner Daniel was currently unavailable and does not care. And allows her to make,all decisions. The original young lady I tried to place an order with was rude and un- attentive and could not complete my order due to being distracted. (Reason unknown to me) I hope they do not rely on customers or repeat business. Extremely disappointing. Sounds like a great teenage hangout. read more

Tried the new neighborhood pizza place this afternoon, Marco's. I was delighted that it tasted different than what we already have around here. I have to say, their original crust pizza tastes closer to real NYC pizza than anything else in Chattanooga. I was extremely pleased. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they only offer cinnamon sticks for dessert. Great new pizza joint! We've never been to the actual restaurant because we always get it delivered. The subs are hot and cheesy, the steak and chicken are awesome. The pizzas are really flavorful and they use fresh vegetables and ingredients. Delivery was speedy and the food was wonderful! read more

Love the pizza! Had a bad order tonight, called in as soon as I got it. Spoke to Jessica and the MOD, they were so great replaced my order, comp'd cheesy bread, got it back to me so fast. I was excited for a new local pizza place but it sorely disappointed. I walked into a warm loud "Welcome to Marco's". It went downhill from there. There were no slices only available. I ordered the small pie. I was asked if I wanted regular or thin crust. I figured try thin. I then tried to find a clean table in the almost empty restaurant. They were dusty , crumb laden and napkins on the floor! I waited 14 min for a nacho chip thin cardboard tasting crust! The sauce was sour and the cheese was ok. Good pizza. I usually call ahead and pick up on the way home. We have ordered delivery. The drivers have been fast and nice.

They have good ingredients and it is possible to get a good pizza, but so many human errors have messed up almost every single pizza I have ordered. If you want their pizza just get it delivered. The guys there fumble and mess everything up and it doesn't make for a good eat in atmosphere . What really caused me to want to write this review was how disgusted i was. There was a guy wearing sunglasses making our pizzas and also walking up front to work the registers. At one point I saw him grab a stack of bills from the register, lick his fingers to help him count, and then went back to cutting and working on pizzas without washing his hands. He did that several of times even though there were plenty of people there. He had no reason to multitask and contaminate the food. A couple guys working there asked him if they were hiring anyone else and he said he had interviews lined up tomorrow. HE IS A MANAGER??! The place has potential, but they have very poor standards. read more

I have ordered from here a few times. Pizza is always hot, order correct & tasty. The thin crust is really good. Everyone has been very polite. The only complaint is they don't deliver to my house in Rivermont, but I have just picked one up when I have been in the area. They have a little drive through window too which is nice if you have kids in the car with you. I'd definitely come back! read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! Horrible customer service!! Purchased $50 worth of gift certificates just to find out if you don't get a magnifying glass out to read the fine print they are junk and a waste of money. Does anywhere else not let you use a gift certificate on sale items!?! It like purchasing(not getting free) a Wal-Mart gift certificate and them saying cannot be used on sale items! We love Marco's, eat it at home (Texas) a lot. So we knew what we would get as far as the pizza goes. What we didn't expect was how RUDE the staff were. The young girl with the glasses working up front seemed completely put out that we were even there. Not friendly and not appreciative of our business. Called in pickup order, asked what special they had for the day, 2, one topping pizzas for 17.99. Okay, paid 35.93 for two large pizzas on special, and a cheesy bread and 2 garlic butters. Subtotal came to 32.89..............Delivery 2.50, one large pepperoni 12.70 (not 8.995), one large spinach 12.70 (not 8.995 ), 1 bread 4.99.....................My elementary grade math tells me the subtotal should have been 25.48 ........Delivery 2.50, 2 large one topping special 17.99, one bread 4.99. A DIFFERENCE OF 7.41! The first lady tried to tell me the computer came up with 3.49 difference. I told her it was more that that. Finally, the manager and I could not agree so he politely dismissed me after offering me a free pizza. Well, let me tell you, how many people do you rip off without offering them a free pizza for worker's at Marco's, Hixson Pike, stupidity at math. Told them I would boycott, and write on facebook. Maybe the OWNER should read this and get some rehires that took math in school. And I'm not talking about the new math. So, rehires, how old do you have to be to work at Marco's? read more
